Sanctuary Cap Cana Vacations

My vacation at Cap Cana was absolutely top notch! From the waiters, the staff, the entertainment, the chefs, the cleaning crew... They all made it happen by making everyone feel at home, making everyone feel special and taking the time to get to know us! I am ever so grateful for getting to know a lot of the staff at this hotel and I'm so proud to say "You all made my trip ten times better"! The food was phenomenal, and the resort was impeccably clean and stunning! The staff were attentive and so appreciative and happy !!! I am coming back next year and sharing all my photos and good memories! Cudos to Nathaniel and Braynel (Mr. Sauvage!) for making our trip so very special. We will miss you immensely! Time to give them a well deserved raise as they work super hard to keep visitors happy on a daily basis! I love to see people who love what they do, and they are a great example of that! Thank you! It has been a relaxing, fun vacation!

We celebrated our honeymoon at this hotel and the experience was unforgettable. The establishment is beautiful and modern, complemented by exceptional staff who looked after us wonderfully from start to finish. The gastronomic diversity is great, with spectacular quality in each restaurant. I would like to express my gratitude especially to Marc Serrano and Emmanuel Méndez for their outstanding work, providing us with exceptional dishes and unparalleled attention.

Our 9-day stay at the hotel was an experience of pure luxury that we truly enjoyed. The courtesy and kindness of the staff made us feel almost at home. We were impressed by the modern and beautiful facilities of the hotel.
We especially want to thank the animation team: Nataniel, John, Haydo, Eduard and Juan, for their exceptional work, making this vacation even more fun and for being there every day with a smile and endless energy! We will be back!

This place is amazing. The service is top notch. It's definitely more of a place for couples, than people on a girl's/guy's trip or looking for a party. You come here to relax and receive top-notch service from check in to check out. The party is outside of the resort, which is perfect for me I can go party and then come back here to relax and recover...lol. The food is fabulous. The drinks are good too, but not strong at all. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a chill vibe with 5 star service and NO KIDS.

My wife and I stayed at SCC for 6 nights in mid-March and had an amazing time. Check-in with Jose was seamless and we ended up switching rooms the next day to a beachfront villa which was well worth it. We made dinner and spa reservations the next day and were able to get times that worked well for us. The seafood, steak and Italian restaurants were great and the pizza was excellent! Breakfast and lunch were ok for a buffet but room service breakfast was much better (order the night before). The villa was comfortable and clean although the A/C was intermittent during our stay and a couple of outlets by the bed didn’t work.

The service was outstanding and my titanium status was acknowledged several times during our stay. Frank (our butler) was outstanding and communicated well throughout the day and offered to schedule rides to dinner each night. He made sure our fridge was well stocked and that my wife had plenty of wine. Nancy (our housekeeper) is amazing and thoroughly cleaned our room each day. She is extremely pleasant and we enjoyed chatting with her each day. We got hugs on the last day and even had some misty eyes when we said goodbye. The only issues we had with service was on the patio outside of the love bar at night. The servers were not as friendly and it took a while to order drinks. Arnoldo (sp?) at the love bar was very friendly and efficient and remembered our drinks every night. The pool attendants were very nice and attentive.

Overall, our trip to SCC was better than we could have imagined. It was so relaxing with no agenda and plenty of pool, restaurant and bar options. The spa experience was great for us (had my first massage) and we enjoyed the hydrotherapy session beforehand. The overall facilities are great and the service was even better. I would highly recommend SCC for an adults only all-inclusive and we will be returning soon!

This casino is the best! It has many machines and tables, a souvenir shop, several restaurants, a non-smoking area in case the smoke bothers you and when you are playing you can ask for free water, soft drinks or coffee from the waiters, you can also order alcohol but you have to pay for it.
The innkeepers take a long time to come, but apart from that it is a good place to spend a pleasant time due to the decoration, the size and the good atmosphere of the place.

I have read a number of the reviews. They seem mostly fake. Is Sanctuary Cap Cana all-inclusive, yes. Is Sanctuary Cap Cana on the ocean with ocean views, yes. Are the outdoor amenities/landscaping beautiful, yes. Is Sanctuary Cap Cana worth the money, No. There are so many other places to go, save yourself time, money, and heartache. Go somewhere else.

I recently stayed at a Marriott “Luxury” branded property called Sanctuary Cap Cana just south of Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
The experience was anything but Luxury! Sadly for us they failed at every opportunity from the moment we arrived.
I am a pilot, Captain, at one of the 3 major airlines in the US for 27 years now. To say I am well travelled is an understatement. Our company mostly books our hotels with Marriott properties at which I spend over 150 nights per year. I am Titanium Elite status and I generally have very good experiences with Marriott. Unfortunately, in this instance not only was it a bad experience, but I would say Marriott falsely advertised this property. I booked the trip through the Marriott app. I put a full review on TripAdvisor and I will continue to find every platform I can to get the truth out, because I hate false advertising and I don’t want anyone to waste money. There are amazing places out there to enjoy. Unfortunately, this is not one of them. So, avoid it at all costs. This is an excerpt from my full review.

I splurged and booked the Ocean front Castle One Bedroom Suite at $1,400.00 per night which came with butler service. This was my wife’s 40th birthday celebration and all I wanted was to make it special. 6 weeks prior to our arrival I called and emailed the concierge multiple times requesting help with four things; roses, luxury transportation from the airport, to have our favorite drinks stocked in the fridge, and to book a Bali bed on the beach. I made it clear that money was no object, I just wanted the experience to be special. Sadly the only request fulfilled or even acknowledged was transportation from the airport which was far from luxury.

Upon arrival, transportation was a third party tour van. We arrive at the resort greeted by a girl with a list, she asks our name and informs us we’re not on her list and looks back at us as if it’s our problem to solve. After waiting a bit, they find our reservation, and we blow off the bumpy start and look forward to seeing our ocean front suite we had been dreaming of. As our butler escorts us to our suite I’m immediately confused. The advertisements pictured a spacious first floor decked out with plush white couches and lounge chairs along with a dining table for 6. What we found was one love seat, a sitting chair and two dining chairs around a 2 ft round cocktail table with a quality so cheap and uncomfortable I dont think Ikea would sell it, even in it’s cheapest line. This room was massive at least 20 feet wide with 20 foot ceilings and it felt bare and cold. The bedroom, “AKA” loft, had a king bed with a mattress in which you could feel the springs poking you when you sat down. The view would have been amazing but sadly the windows had broken seals, were filthy and some were cracked so you couldn’t even enjoy the view from inside. Outside was the promised Private pool that was unheated and bitterly cold…….

The rooms were basic, the food was basic, the drinks were basic and the service was basic yet the price was luxurious. So if you want to spend a lot to get nothing go for it. But I suggest a less expensive place with better overall quality, or a more expensive place with amazing service!
Yes, I have suggestions, but I am not here to advertise. I just want everyone to know this place is not what is advertised. Shame on Marriott!

I have tried to add reviews on different booking sites, but they won’t let you review unless you booked through them. So be careful out there. I learned a lot on this one and I’m glad my wife loves me more than any stupid vacation. Good luck.

This is our fourth visit to Sanctuary Cap Cana and I plan to return several more times. Over time it has become my second home. Each time I receive a sincere welcome from the staff, each employee is super happy to see us again. It is a sanctuary of peace ✌️, made to recharge your batteries and enjoy life. If you're looking for a party, it's not for you. The food is super good and for all tastes, I advise you to try the sushi and the wood-fired pizza in downtown yum 😋. If you are lucky enough 🍀 to have a Butler I recommend JT is the best ❤️. It's a gem for this resort, helpful, attentive and always there to make us have the best trip. Special mention to Emmanuel Mandez of the restaurants, he came to see us to find out if everyone was okay 😌

Such an amazing trip! The entire staff was FANTASTIC. They really made the trip so amazing. Shout out to the entires activities team (Haydo, Mari, and the rest of the crew), as well as some of the other staff members - Felix, Quarillo, Happy Boy, Glori, Tania. This is just to name a few. All of them are amazing and truly made our time there so special!

We just spent a week and left on Friday at the Sanctuary Cap Cana. This place was absolutely beautiful. The walks on the ocean we just stunning The staff was amazing everywhere we went. My favorite staff member was Valentina every morning at breakfast she was there, she made the starting of our day wonderful she placed flower pedal at our table. I will miss her the most. Elvis at lunch was another one we will never forget. The Steakhouse was so delicious Esteban best waiter that we ate there twice and was lucky to have him bith times. Manual at the outdoor pool bar was another who was so great to the customers and fun to be around. Mary from the PM bar she was so sweet and fun she knows how to get the people laughing and having fun. The Wok, The Blue Marlin, the Pizza Pub, we also so delicious. I cannot wait to go back and see them again. The one thing that did upset us was the lack of guests tipping the employees. It may be all inclusive but the staff definitely works hard and deserves to be tipped.

We have been going to this all inclusive for years . Over 10 times! The staff is amazing and the food really good! We travel a lot and this is by far our favourite spot! See you soon guys!
