When visiting El Agave at Sandos Firesterra in Cabo San Lucas Baja California Sur we ran into Armando our waiter for lunch time. He recommended the sea and land to us and introduced us to Armando the Main Chef who treated us like family. He served us a super elegant and delicious meal that Juan prepared for us. Very grateful with all the service at El Agave. Thank you, Armando, for everything.

We have had an absolute blast! Our wedding was so much fun. Paulina and Wendy were so great to work with. We have had SO much fun with Enrique, Yuki, and Carmen. They have made our week amazing!!

I have been to cabo over 10 times and this is by far the worst resort I've ever stayed at. I don't even know how it's listed as a 4 star, it's barely a 3 in our view! The food sucked and so did the majority of service!

On top of that while there for a wedding they tried to over charge my gf by $400 USD for champagne on the wedding day that we never opened or drank. The bill was signed by no one in our group either, not even a name of anyone we we're with. Once they checked the cameras and realized we were right and didn't drink it, they decided to then say they were charging it because she stayed an extra night and there was room damage which is all a complete and made up lie! They checked out when we all did and did she did not stay longer nor did they trash the room in anyway.

This hotel is awful and clearly looking to rip people off! Don't waste your time here, there so many better options in Cabo. Go elsewhere so you can enjoy your vacation and not deal with the stress of fighting fradulent charges when you get home.

Gloria and Nadia did great teaching class

Luis is the best bartender at this resort! We had so much fun with him at the Whale Watchers Bar every night before and after dinner! He’s the best!!

Our Butler Romo was very accommodating. He helped us reserve our dinner reservations and reserve a cabana for a week. He was always walking around to meet the elite members to see if we needing anything.

My wife, my baby and a servant stayed, we were delighted with the place, the views and areas that are found, the architecture seems to ask you to take photos and the warmth of the staff such as; yuki animation, elizabeth towelero, lady in pool snacks, abel cafeteria cupcake, islands waiter don diego, pepe bellboy.

The hotel does not show the passing of the years, the maintenance team strives to keep the place in good condition.

The food in general is delicious, the water with a pleasant temperature is one of the few hotels in Cabo with heating, it was a pleasant stay.

We appreciate all the attention.

Tania at the Stones Club is amazing! She takes care of her guests and makes great drinks! She provides quality service and keeps a clean and organized bar! Would highly recommend spending your nights here!

Overall a fair experience. Watch the charges though because they will say you get $25 a day credit to the spa yet don't honor it because they will find loop holes around it. We ended up listening to a time share deal because they offered a % off at the spa but don't tell you it voids out the other stuff they guarantee everyday like you $25 a day credit. They also said if we don't use the credit for the spa it could go to laundry cost which also was not the case so they will tell you all sorts of stuff at check in yet at check out will not honor any of it! For the price you pay they should live up to their guarantee of daily credits that come with your package!! Don't know if we would be back there are plenty of other places to check out as well. The food was fair as well. The restaurant down on the beach is by far the best. The staff for the most part was really friendly depending on what place you chose to eat at. Also TRIPLE check your ride to the ai4port because somehow they forgot to book ours and had to find a last minute ride and got charged quite a bit for it!

A special place to experience!
Spending some March time in Cabo for the first time was lovely.
Plus, it was the first time in a all-inclusive resort.
Number one: The location. With the main entrance right above the south end of the Cabo marina, Finisterra is easily
reachable from the city. If you want to spend $120 for a taxi from the airport, be my guest; we opted for the 90 Pesos
($5.50) per person bus ride, which took about 80 minutes but dropped us off by the Walmart in the city center. From there
it's a 25 minutes walk through the marina with all its entertainment, to the resort.
Once there, you can enjoy a variety of amazing views (see the pics). Having breakfast on the Don Diego terrace lets you
watch the boats in the marina from above, and similarly the comfy chairs by the cupcake coffee shop. Cross the bridge
to the other side, and you have a gorgeous view of the ocean, either from the top at the whalewatchers bar (with nonstop
whale sightings between Nov and March - bring binoculars), or down at the beach, where the pools are.
I could not get enough of those views!
Once you have discovered all that, and your big and super clean room (thank you Gloria!) (ours with ocean view, too,
without paying extra), you can review the entertainment program. Things like tequila tasting (Enrique gave us a good time!)
during the day and dance shows at night make sure there are lots of things to do for all ages (yeah, not those two
for the kids, but there is a kids club with the right activities for them). We also made sushi and guacamole fresh on the beach.
Check out the activity guide on the Sandos web site, along with details on the restaurants, spa, pools, etc.
Granted, the shows were not Swift level, but thoughtfully designed and fun to attend.
If I had to come up with one thing I did not appreciate, it would be the all-afternoon techno thump-thump at the pools;
I'm probably not the audience for which that was selected during spring break week :).
Food and drinks: It's an all-inclusive, so you feel the constant tension between staying within budget and providing a great
experience. So, many of the cocktails are loaded with sugar, the fruit juices are low quality, and premium wines and spirits
are not included. But once you have figured out that they can't spoil the beer or the straight Jimador, you can find your
preferences. Be specific with the bartender if you want a good cocktail.
Same with the food: After a few disappointments with the chewy meat or pre-cooked white fish (no fresh catch here), you
can find your preferred salsa or chipotle sauce (we loved the cauliflower steak at the steakhouse), and home in on what you
enjoy most. Come to the weekly BBQ (and fire show) by the beach, ignore the tepid buffet items, and go straight for the
items fresh from the grill (veggies, meat, seafood, all great).
Finally, congratulations Nicki on an amazing feat: As guests we felt always welcome in a friendly place, constantly
being greeted "Hola!" by any employee walking by, and experiencing a happy atmosphere throughout.
Hopefully the employees feel the same way.

Yazmin & Georgina are great girls in The Tortuga and Emeilianos restaurants! Very kind girls! Great service!

Amy is the best host, she was very kind to us and always gave us what we asked for. We all love her and if you are at Sandos you should ask Amy.

Tortuga is an amazing atmosphere with great food and amazing workers. Amy and hector were very sweet and hospitable. Amy es mug Bonita. 🥹😄😊

A lot of fun with great tequila! Yuki Cesar and Fernando were the best.

The tequila tasting was awesome!! The staff was so fun and gave us generous pours! 100% recommend!!! — Amy D

Gustavo was AWESOME!!!

Have always loved the location of this hotel. Service has usually been spectacular, but was a step down due to lack of staff. Still a great place.

We had tons of fun with Enrique and Fernando also worth the girls Carmen and yuki

We had some great time with Enrique and Fernando with the activities Carmen did the dancing class and was amazing

Lucero from Tortuga restaurant, Carlos from the pool, Federico, yoga instructor, my Barista from Cupcake cafe (I don’t know his name) and everyone else who took care of us while we were here. Including Nikki, the resort manager who was very attentive to us. I love eating at Tortuga restaurant - from the drinks, appetizers, main dish, desserts and the friendly service. Always a great experience. Never a disappointment. Thank you to the staff at Sandos Finistera at Cabo.
