We had a blast there! Food was great! Friendly staff! Always called us by our names! Pools were awesome! Drinks were great! I recommend the "Bob Marley"!

HORRIBLE!!! Do not waste your money, been to many all inclusive resorts & by far this has been the worst.
The nicest thing I can say is the bartender Pablo & Fernando are the best and go over the top for everyone.
Other than that, got denied at a restaurant because my husband was in dress shorts & a button up. The pool is awful and the bartenders are rude. Small resort with no entertainment as they state online. I could keep going on, but if I had to rate this place it would be a 0/10.

Beautiful resort. We came for vacation and loved it. The resort was very quiet and peaceful. Room was very nice with nice views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were many great activities offered. The tequila tasting was fun and informative. Poolside service was quick and food and drinks were good. The pool was heated but not too hot. Very pretty grounds. The hotel made it easy to book excursions and airport transportation beforehand. Would definitely return and recommend!

Food was horrible

Nice place to relax.

Just like the pictures, very beautiful place. 🤗

The best All Inclusive option in San José
The reception is dedicated and fast! A welcome drink and everything you need to know about the facilities. Miss Esmeralda super friendly.
The staff, everyone (Meny, Charli, America, Brisa, Alicia to name a few)! excellent treatment, friendly and helpful. Luxuriously appointed rooms with a wonderful view. Details for the tub such as incense and their hand cream is a delight. Specialty restaurants like Japanese are a yes, but you have to go the same day at 4 to get a place.
Food of high level, quality and flavor. Their room service is wonderful, right there on the tablet it shows you the time the order arrives.
The pool environment is calm, it is not a resort for young people, it is for older people 45-60. It is very appreciated that there is no scandal at the pool or young people drinking excessively. The beach area is a gem! the quietest! The gym equipped with enough for a good routine. The activity we liked the most was: Bike ride at 10am! If you can avoid the barbecue option, it is better to go to restaurants. I will always return as soon as possible!

The activities are very entertaining. I had the opportunity to do yoga in the pool listening to Balinese music, super nice!

Check-in and out were quick and easy! My husband and I frequent all-inclusive properties a couple of times a year and this was by far one of the best we've been to! It is clean and the property is absolutely beautiful. We loved the beach bar with swings and walked the beach every day. Yoga and fitness classes were offered every morning with an ocean view and the whales were sighted most days; it was a dream. Fernando and his E-team had so many activities to pick from and always had a smile and lots of energy. A highlight was definitely doing the Art Walk with them into San Jose (absolutely recommend!) From the views to the rooms, this one should not be missed!

Excellent place and wonderful view

Super clean. Japanese restaurant was meh but otherwise food was great. Try the vanilla ice cream. It's amazing.

Spent a week in an ocean view sweet. It’s was OK. The food was not good at any of the restaurants. Breakfast was the best. The outdoor bars closed at 4:00. Since I am not one to start drinking until then, there were no good options for happy hour drinks. The pool was as warm as a hot tub. Not refreshing on a hot day. Premium alcohol was not used. Included wine was house only-super cheap, and bitter tasting. If you wanted any other wine it was pricey. The grounds were beautiful and service was good. Done with Secrets. It’s not a premium all-inclusive.

My recent corporate trip to Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort brought a bag of mixed emotions. Touted as an adults-only oasis, it leaned heavily towards the "newlywed or nearly dead" demographic, offering little daytime entertainment to bridge the gap. This left us yearning for more engaging activities outside of sunbathing and relaxation.

The dining experiences varied drastically. The Ocean Club promised much but delivered dishes that seemed to wage war on our digestive systems, with overly sweet juices and bland coffee that left much to be desired. The casual dining spots didn’t fare much better, serving a tuna poke bowl that had us questioning the freshness of the sea's bounty. Dinner options provided a slight reprieve, albeit without shaking the overall sense of culinary disappointment.

Upon arrival, the welcome was lukewarm. Forget the champagne greetings unless you’re willing to tip for a sip of what can only be described as an underwhelming bubbly experience. This set a tone that was further soured by an incident involving a room in our party being showered internally, not with amenities, but with water from the air conditioning, an issue met with a band-aid solution rather than a room change.

The beach, a supposed highlight, proved to be a challenge to access and less than inviting upon arrival. Its distant location, coupled with a staircase obstacle course, and a less-than-pristine appearance, made it an underutilized feature of our stay.

Adding to the list of disappointments, the outdoor jacuzzi was a letdown. Not only did it appear outdated, but it also lacked the cleanliness one would expect from a resort of this calibre, detracting further from our leisure experience.

Our rooms, advertised with ocean views, offered a panorama that was less inspiring than anticipated. The view was marred by a mundane courtyard and nondescript buildings, diluting the pleasure of a sea-facing perspective.

For those considering a trip that balances relaxation with exploration, the stark contrast between San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas is worth noting. The latter offers a vibrant scene and culinary delights worth the commute. In hindsight, a stay closer to Cabo San Lucas might have better served our desires for a mix of leisure and local exploration, providing a richer, more fulfilling experience.

In summary, Secrets Puerto Los Cabos, while boasting certain qualities expected of a luxury resort, falls short in delivering a comprehensive experience that caters to all adult tastes. It might suit those seeking a quiet escape or celebrating nuptial bliss, but for a corporate group looking to blend business with pleasure, it left us wanting.

I just came back from a long weekend stay for my birthday/bacherlorette party and I wish I could go back for another weekend!

Secrets is much closer to the airport than the main strip near the marina that seems to draw the tourist crowd. This means that it is much quieter which is exactly what I was looking for. First impressions were that the property was pretty secure as there were two gates we had to pass through with a check in at each. The property is beautiful and the grounds are impeccably maintained and the staff was always pleasant. There are also two resident cats that roam the property!

I arrived around 1pm and the room was not ready yet but I was able to go to the lunch buffet and when I returned to the check in area at 3pm, the room was ready.

The property is large but not difficult to navigate and there are always staff in the golf carts that can drive you to your room. The room itself was very nice, a great view of the golf course and the water and roomy enough for two people. I appreciated the tthere were two sinks as my sister and I were sharing the room. There was also a giant jet bathtub but we did not utilize it during our stay. Housekeeping serviced our room each day and they offered nightly turn down service although we did not utilize that portion. The bed was decent, not too soft or too firm, but the pillows were a bit lumpy. It was as if they were stuffed with cotton balls.

We did not have the best experience for the restaurants at a previous all inclusive resort in Cabo but Secrets did not disappoint. The breakfast buffet was smaller than what I have seen before but the omelet station was great and there were plenty of food options. I did not see an oatmeal station which is typical for a breakfast buffet.

We were able to get into the Teppanyaki station where Manny and Carlos/"Charlie" were our waitstaff and chef and they were amazing and so funny! You have to put in your name the same day you want to dine - they start taking reservations at 4pm but I would recommend to get in line around 3:30pm. We got in line around 3:45pm and there were several parties before us and our reservation time was for 9pm.

The other dinner restaurants were good. My favorite was Oceana, the seafood restaurant. The wait time for this restaurant was the longest of all the restaurants (arrived at 7pm for 2 people and waited an hour). Since our stay wasn't too long, we mostly got apps at each restaurant and would restaurant hop nightly. The Seaside Grill had my favorite snack - the Aguachile Shrimps were AMAZING. I got them nearly everyday. Every restaurant has beautiful views and great food so you can't go wrong at any of them. There was also a low key nightclub with a pool table. Additionally, there was a wine cellar which looked very cool!

The pool is beautiful and the servers are attentive and super helpful. I do wish there was more than one pool as the infinity pool by Oceana is reserved for club members only. It is difficult to find pool chairs if you arrive after 10:30am.

We had a massage at the Spa and my masseuse Ana was fantastic! The relaxing/waiting area was on the smaller side but they had a fairly large courtyard for the hydrotherapy including a steam room and sauna.

This resort is amazing and I would recommend it if you are looking for a romantic trip, and relaxing getaway, or just a vacation.

This was a beautiful resort with staff members that truly cares about the very guest. He visited the spot on one of the days we were there and it was fantastic!

Dark depressing rooms
Brighting them might be a idea
Food is not in order terrible
Staff most of them went out of their way
Not chefs in the buffet they really didn’t want to cook
So all n all this is a 3 star resort

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️From beginning to end this vacation was the best. I promised I would give Isreal from the Market Cafe restaurant a good review but I can not. I have to give him a GREAT review. He went above and beyond and was super courteous and kind. So attentive and polite and ready to serve! I am in the service industry myself and realize I really could learn from him. If I could make even one person as happy as he made, it would be a win. Thank you Isreal!! Many good wishes for you!

This place is amazing from the scenery, clean rooms, and grounds to the beautiful, kind, helpful staff.
Christian from the Oceana Restaurant deserves a shout-out as well!! I swear he was listening in on our conversation because he brought for us to try exactly what we were trying to decide on!!
So many of your servers were genuinely attentive to our needs that we didn't even know we had. I wish I could remember all the names.
The food was delicious too!! I keep adding as I am thinking of all the wonderful things that happened during the week!! Thank you so much!!

5 star based off my all inclusive experience in Mexico. 4 star compared to other competing brands Ive experienced. Service was very good throughout as was the food. I enjoyed the yoga on on Beracuda deck (gorgeous as our practice ended with a whale sighting over the instructors shoulder) Demer was lively, funny and informative during the archery class.

Room service was EXCELLENT. Buffet ok. Oceana good, service great. Breakfast at Oceana was amazing! Portofino good as well. The Japanese restaurant was not impressive for any of us in our group. After waiting for over an hour for any food much of it arrived lukewarm. Our friends waited over 1.5 hours and left when cold food arrived. Glasses ran dry as well. Spring rolls were a hit.

Tours booked for our group were fabulous! Ground transport great.

I do wish the coffee bar staffed more than 1 person. Be sure to head to the barracuda bar and watch the whales. Prospero was our waiter and often doubles as the bartender. Wonderfully cared for by him. The garden areas were pretty as well. Would come back for sure.

This is my second experience at Secrets Los Cabos. We had a great time two years ago, and this was even better. The service and food are truly amazing and even better than I remembered from our first vacation there. This time the music at the main pool was not as loud. So it was more relaxing. I want to give a shout out to some hard-working excellent staff: Anna at Oceana, Salamo, at the main pool, Elizabeth, at the market place café, Julio, at the Seaside Grill, Loreena, with the entertainment group. We also had really excellent service with Alex at Oceana. There are lots of great activities: yoga! Bocce ball, Art night in San Jose Del Cabo, snorkeling near the famous arch and lots of whale watching from the pools and beach.

We were always made to feel welcome and appreciated. Thanks!

We opted for Secrets based on recommendations of superior food quality. However, our experience proved otherwise, as the food fell far short of expectations, arguably among the least satisfactory we've encountered. Moreover, our disappointment was compounded when we discovered $50 missing from our luggage upon returning to our room one evening. Such incidents are profoundly disheartening, particularly when one entrusts a resort for safety and comfort.
