I was pleasantly surprised by this resort. It has a gorgeous beachfront location, service was always prompt and friendly from all the staff (special shout out to CIARA at the front desk!! And ERIC our bellman! ) The rooms are very spacious and have a luxe feel. We booked a double queen oceanfront room and we were on the right hand side of the resort, away from the pool, which was wonderfully quiet and peaceful! Beautiful large lanai and double sinks in the vanity area (perfect for friends traveling together), rainfall shower, beautiful pool and Jacuzzi...what more could you want? Would def stay here again!

Only suggestion would be to put screens on the sliding doors to the lanai! We wanted to listen to the ocean but with no screen the bugs get in 😬

Stayed in a 2 queen ocean front room overlooking the pool. Very nice place, beach and pool areas are great. Only complaint about the room is no screen door on lanai. There was a letter in the room asking to not leave the lanai door open. When we stay in Hawaii we always like to leave the door open to hear the sound of the ocean. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Just stayed at Sheraton resort and loved it!! Such a great location and very family friendly! My kids loved being able to run from beach to pool and there were plenty of chairs at pool and you could rent beach chairs too which was nice option. Room was on owners side and had ocean view and was great size with comfy beds and nice kitchen and living room to relax in after day at the pool. We really enjoyed the coffee shop and pool side service and also ate at Lava’s one night and enjoyed the food there as well and felt the menu had good variety. The activities available for kids was so fun and included lei making, hula lessons, surf lessons and even pond fishing which my kids loved and caught a few fish! Lastly one of our fave things to do on the resort was see the luau! The dancers/performers performed beautifully and the music and band were very talented too! The fire dance was awesome! Highly recommend this resort for couples and families and we will be coming back!

The room was pretty disappointing, especially for a family there was very little storage and everything was cramped and outdated. Floor could have been anything other than carpet because it just holds the smell of damp. If we go back to Kauai I would rather book the Marriott down the road, it had a better room and the overall layout of the resort was better.

Air conditioning unit was not working properly in room and we had to sleep on top of my sheets. Maintenance came by and said it was working, they said we could move to a different type of room but we had paid for a large ocean view room. We also had tons of stuff with a 1 year old and it would have been a major hassle to move so we decided to stick it out. The next day housekeeping came in and said it was very hot and wanted to know if we wanted them to call maintenance. I told them we already did and that maintenance said there was nothing to fix. They stated the identical adjacent rooms were much cooler and that our AC was not blowing hard enough. I complained to management ended up comping us $150, which is pretty small considering the price of the rooms (~$500 a night). I don’t really think they made things right. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Not as nice as I expected for the price.

Nice place to refresh in, central to the ocean, good restaurants, helpful and friendly staff. I will come back again.

This hotel is stunning, with a perfect location, well-maintained grounds, and a friendly and helpful staff. All of the rooms have balconies, some with garden views while others are right by the water, allowing guests to soak up the sun by the pool or on the beach during the day. In the evenings, you can take a leisurely walk by the beach and enjoy the beautiful sunset. At night, you can hear the waves, which makes it easy to fall asleep. The premises have a couple of restaurants, so if you don't want to venture out, This place is perfect for both couples and families.

Upon check-in, we were greeted with a box of delicious macadamia chocolates, refreshing guava juice, and a sun protection kit. They offer both valet and self-parking options.

I redeemed my Mariott points to stay here and it was a great decision. The hotel is so nice and relaxing. The location is unbeatable at Poipu beach. The onsite restaurant serves a good breakfast, the rooms are wonderful (the bed is so comfy). I got upgraded to an Ocean View room and it was lovely. The amenities are great — and the beach is great to swim and boogie board.

Way over priced. Doesn't even have touch pay so I can wash my laundry and has no way of helping to get you what you need. Short staffed and very rude.

Very satisfied, we had some problems but the manager fixed everything very diligently.

This was not a relaxing stay. Parking was a huge pain. It made coming and going a chore. They closed down part of the hotel for a private event that played really loud music into the evening, and they left trays of food for that event unattended and blocking paths to the rooms. Then they refused to give me even an extra hour late checkout (I asked for 12pm noon; denied). The fridge and outdoor table were dirty. Balcony seating wasn’t very comfortable. The phone in my room didn’t work. The in-room dining menu labels items with fish as being vegetarian. They don’t do mobile keys, and the check-in process was a whole event. Bed was great, shower was fine. But I’ve stayed at better roadside motels, for a tenth of the price.

What a great escape. I was able to tag along while my wife attended a conference at the hotel. The hotel is situated in a good location that straddles the line between an escape and the comforts or home. The landscape and views were great, yet it's nestled in a standard hotel/residential/business district. It's not a detractor, rather just facts...but hey, it's still Hawaii and it's close to shopping and many sights. Nothing in Kauai appears to be too business like; it's a nice balance. My wife and I enjoyed our stay a lot.

Our room had amazing views. The pool area is relaxing and right by the beach. Pool towels available. Poolside food and drinks are brought by servers if you want. bathroom located by pool. Snorkel rentals, cabana rentals, and surf lessons available. There are plenty of walkable eating options not on property. Service was so great and all staff were friendly and accommodating. All our needs were met. Free self-parking and paid valet is available also. We would come back here again.

Very happy with this property! Great location with beach access and comfortable pool area. Everything you’d need. Love the sunset viewing from the adirondacks on lawn!

We had the most wonderful experience here. Sheryl, at the main desk, was so friendly, kind and welcoming! From the very moment we walked in, she made our experience worth remembering (and writing about!). The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, the proximity of the pool/beach was perfect.

A disappointing stay. Old rooms, minimal maintenance. Dirty hallways. Dirty elevators. Rooms were clean and maintained properly. We did not look forward to going to our room at night because it was so basic and old. Don't recommend it.

We had a wonderful experience with our family of three kids and two adults at this hotel. The proximity and cleanliness of the beach were fantastic, making it an ideal spot for kids. The pools were also a highlight, providing great entertainment. On-site, there are two restaurants, though the food tends to be on the expensive side. However, the service and quality more than make up for it. Overall, a great family-friendly destination. They updated our room from a garden view to an ocean view for free. Very impressed with the customer service.

Beautiful resort wow 5 stars - elite perks free valet, free breakfast, plenty of self parking, wonderful pool area, and the most beautiful stretch of beach in Poipu! Can't say enough for how well we were taken care of, mahalo for a great vacation

Recently stayed 10 nights in the Villas. Resort is beautiful and we loved the beach. Swimmable and not busy compared to the close Poipu Beach. Parking is easy and all of the employees were kind of helpful.
