No real beach access you have to pay more to get a decent seat at the pool or on the beach. Breakfast is mid and it’s crawling with people all the time.

Came during the Honolulu Festival and had a beautiful view of the fireworks with a quick walk to the parade. The French toast with guava sauce is a must with Walter the most amazing waiter. Hotel has nice amenities and great activities with a quick walk to the beach or pool, it's a must visit.

Worst security/lost and found ever. No follow through, I called 3 times to ask about airpods I left behind and I knew exactly where I left it. You can tell they didn't even look. I expected better from Sheraton, I should have asked the housekeepers who were awesome.

Convenient to go anywhere
I took out my card while I was out.
It had not been cleaned.
I had it done after I came home at night.
Since we were in the same room, I wondered what it was like.

It's ok because it's close to Waikiki Beach.

The infinity pool is a great place to spend time or watch the sunset.
The toddler and children's pool is an attractive place.
The bar is very lively at night.

Lots of shops and restaurants onsite.

Beautiful ocean and Diamondhead views. Easy walking distance to amazing shopping. Luggage was brought right to our room. The wristband room keys are great since we spent so much time in the pool and at the beach. Rumfire and breakfast were both delicious. The kids pool with waterslide were my daughter's dream come true.

Other than the proximity to the beach this hotel is a crowded mess, and the waiting areas have no comfortable seating and no AC areas. No flights arrive in time exactly for check in so hotels need to establish comfortable couches not un ergonomic chairs and benches. Even if you're Bonvoy or pay for the $1k rooms you sit uncomfortably in terrible seating and probably never cleaned.

Wifi is free for anyone nearby, not reserved for guests.o ly with passwords. 4G wireless gets 1-2 bars. No 5G.

This is mass crowd vibe in an old property needing to modern up.

Having stayed in several different hotels in Waikiki the new guest check in experience is 1 star. Even Laylow and Hyatt Centric has comfortable seating options. Marriott Resort has more cool lobby and waiting areas with some comfortable seating.

There's no hand sanitizer at the front desk!

No special welcome water bottle for Platinum guests, even Hilton Garden Inn in general provides this.

No early check in or late check out reserved for elevated room paid for.

The bed sinks and same quality as Laylow. Pillows are too flat no fluff,.not good sleep because of these mostly bed sinks terribly.

The view for $1k room is cut off. All the concrete o the balcony feels closed off and less bright than room could be. Room is dim.

The floors fortunately are clean. Room has light smell like soap, very good compared to Laylow and Hyatt Centric or Marriott Resort that smells of strong detergent or some air mustiness. Trump smells like smoke.

Employees are good and efficient.

However per the above, currently it's not worth the price and not coming back. View if you pay for it is great but still not worth a full 1-2 wk vacation stay if you want good nights rest IMO and according to the room I had.

From a nomad who can compare several hotels and stays.

Very nice overall, also pricey but you get good things from the price, good food! Excellent view, even saw a turtle from our balcony!

One of the best views for sunsets. Great restaurant for dinner and drinks.

Stayed using points, and redeemed 2 years of Suite Night Upgrades. Many options for upgrades, but most are the same room with a better view, so I chose the only suite, the Malia Suite. After a few days the request didn't appear in the app, so I called Member Support and was told the hotel had denied the request. MONTHS out and they denied it. MS said I would have to rebook to request again, so I had them rebook and submit the request again. It wasn't immediately denied, and a few days before we left I got the email that we had received our upgrade. I WAS happy.

When we arrived we had to walk through a strip mall to get to the front desk. They had an Elite line, but you could also buy a "Jalpak" to get access to that line. Annoying as I earned my status and others could get this perk by buying a package.

I get to the desk and get the welcome spiel. I asked about the Concierge Lounge and was told it was closed. So I asked about the F&B credit that was supposed to replace it. They don't offer one. All they offer is a "Continental Breakfast" which consists of a pastry, juice, cup of fruit (wasn't even ripe), and cereal by "special request". I called Member Support when I got to my room and filed a complaint. They said they would forward it to the hotel but suggested I talk with the manager since I was still at the hotel. I sat down with the manager, told her about the case, and she was visibly annoyed by the conversation. It was obvious this was NOT the first time she'd dealt with this complaint. She offered a $100 credit that "she's never offered to any other member before". It was short for one guest by $5, there were two of us. I told her and she almost laughed and increased it to $110 credit, still short of the $210 total we should get. I told her she can apply it but I'd be calling Member Support to escalate. She got frustrated and asked what I wanted, so I pushed the matter. She wouldn't budge, so I thanked her for her time and called Member Support to escalate. 20k points and an apology. They couldn't do anything else since she had applied a credit.

No keycards, only wristbands. Our Elite Member ones seemed to be of better quality as other guests complained theirs kept breaking.

The floor in our room was wavy. Concrete under carpet with 1" drop over 2 feet. Repeatedly. The living room dresser had adjustable feet to compensate. Bedroom was sloped, too, with the head of the bed on the decline, making sleeping uncomfortable.

Our "full oceanview" was really only a partial one, with a wall blocking the best parts of the view.

There was a higher end bidet, which was really nice, but the remote for it had crusty white stuff on the wall mount and bottom of remote. Hoping it was just dried cleaner. The bidet also put out a funny smell when the fan was running.

No microwave. Really? Cheap places have microwaves, but a suite that normally costs $600-$1,000/night can't have one? Seriously?

The rooms were very quiet. Thick patio doors, barely heard outside noise. Barely ever heard anyone in the halls, either. Never heard neighbors. Only barely heard gas leaf blowers outside.

We had to spend $50/night on a resort fee... I paid for my friend's hotel that week at the Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Beach with points and was told because I paid with points there were no extra fees. Not thrilled about the difference.

I learned from staff the hotel had been bought out and was going downhill. Amenities no longer offered, higher fees, not as much attention to the property, staff weren't as happy as they used to be. The same company also bought nearby Marriott properties, including the Westin Moana Surfrider that had a 5th floor balcony railing fall off on its own with no one leaning on it. It missed people below, but it happened during our stay. I had almost booked that hotel.

The whole place had a "milk them for all they're worth" vibe to it.

It seems fitting a Sheraton (Frazer, PA) was the reason I went to Hilton for a year and swore off Marriott and a Sheraton will again be the reason I go Hilton and avoid Marriott brands...

Best views! Pics from my balcony. Great place to stay near EVERYTHING

Before this stay I would have said Titanium elite was not worth it. However, after this property honored our SNA upgrade, gave us great welcome, ice cream for the kids. As a result we had a special family event that will be a life long memory. It felt like the Starwoods like experience.

Also the kids love feeding COI, the pool, and playing on the beach. Friendly staff and service. We have a high bar and they met all our expectations.

The only downsides were resort fees, high parking fee, and not included breakfast for our kids (just elite +1).

Still overall, I wish all Marriott hotel stays were like this hotel. The positives out weigh the negatives.

It felt a little tired, but a great location overall.

Rooms are a bit dated, location is great, but housekeeping was almost non-existence. Was there for 5 days and our room was not serviced at all. This is the first time this has happened to me.

Horrible experience. Lady with blonde hair at pool kiosk needs customer service training. Didn’t film the actual experience. But the video should verify I was here. Management can sort. Platinum Marriott Bonvoy Guest.

Nice firework display for New Year's eve. I watched it from the parking lot next to the Hawaiian Hilton on the pier side.

Amazing views from my balcony. Good place for a conference. The check-in process was very easy, and my king room is exceptional.
Walking distance to the beach and shopping.

A great location. Only downside is no buffet breakfast and limited dining options for kids on the property. But very nice pool, friendly service and modern rooms with great views. Close to everything in Waikiki. Always Taxis outside waiting and friendly front desk staff too.
