Checked in ,shown to ground floor sea facing room, dull and poorly maintained , no hot water, tap broken , complained to front desk, maintenance man sent to solve problem ,unable to resolve , moved to second floor sea view, from then on a perfect holiday, found all the staff very helpful and pleasant, , nothing too much trouble .food not outstanding but good, location perfect, our thanks go to Astrid on front desk, for all her help, a very kind and sincere, member of staff, an asset to the hotel. Will definitely return in the future.

The property is lovely. The service was wonderful. Our favorites were Miss Alana at the Front Desk, Miss Ether at Breakfast, and Positano Restaurant, in particular their Excellent Bartender.
Services included a ferry between sister properties and a variety of water sports. Unfortunately, water conditions didn't allow for us to use these services, but it is good to know it's available, weather permitting.
My suggestion is to come prepared with Barbadian currency, because there is no atm on property. Also, it would have been nice to change up the breakfast buffet side items each day.
Overall, I would stay here again.

A huge, belated thanks to the staff at the Tamarind for making our little family reunion/big B-day week-long trip a massive success. We were a group of 16, aged 2 - 80, and everyone had a blast. The kids loved the pools, the parents loved the bars by the pools, I enjoyed slipping away to the adjacent beach oasis. The free water sports were a hit, the food was excellent, the ocean views from the suites were breathtaking. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and were pros at dealing with all sorts. We had an amazing trip. I hope to go back to the Tamarind someday and I highly recommend it.

Excellent location, extremely friendly staff. Food was of very good quality buffet style with occasional waiter events. New Year was amazing! All inclusive was superb.

In general terms the hotel is good, it lacks Marriott quality. It doesn't have many food options and it is all inclusive. It is located in an accessible and good place. But the staff service is VERY bad… it leaves a lot to be desired, they serve you poorly. You go on vacation and you end up bitter.

This was the most disappointing stay our family have had for the Christmas and New Year period. The place is tired to the point of need ing major renovation, the staff are demoralised by hat appears to be very poor management and none of the guests that we spoke to and spent this period felt that they were having a great value experience.

We stayed 14 nights as a family of 4 in one sea view suite. The room was not the one in the picture that we booked. The cost was a whacking 25k GBP all inclusive as a BA holiday package.

The food was bad, entertainment minimal, no sign of life in the advertised kids club and not much in the way of feel good Caribbean vibes coming from any direction.

I would say that they did make an effort for Christmas Day and New Years Eve (apart from cancelling the fire works at the last minute due to budget concerns).

The truth is that the whole of this elegant resort chain seems to be cost cutting in every direction. Our room cleaner told us they could not even give out clean towels and toiletries as often as normal. My wife found another employee crying in the restrooms.

Staff are demoralised, management is stingy and frankly negligent, and the BA and virgin holiday packages are massively overpriced (at least double) of what I would expect from many previous experiences with these all inclusive deals.

We resorted to going out almost everyday and spending a fortune in local restaurants and beach clubs to avoid the humdrum, monotonous and really quite depressing atmosphere.

Great food and service

Overall, it was a nice experience. The staff definitely made the experience a lovely one

Loved this hotel. A bit dated but heard it’s going to be refurbished. Kudos to Stefon Markham and Nyasha Williams. Will be there again in January.

This place was paradise and one of the best elegant hotels. The staff, food and accommodations was 10/10 best 50th birthday

The staff make this place 2nd time there and will be back

A great hotel with great staff and a fantastic location.

One of best all inclusive on this island with more to do and delicious food in all inclusive.

Excellent cuisine for Father's Day at a very reasonable price.

Rooms are getting a needed renovation soon, grounds are nice, and the staff and service were generally above average. I'd return.

Was a bit crowded as expected for Mother's Day but the customer service was impeccable, especially from the staff on duty on that day.

A fantastic hotel to stay at. Super friendly staff beautiful weather. We did a couple of trips Mount Gay Rum Distillery & Island Safari....well worth it. Last day we had a driver Owen for 4½hrs & he took us all over the island to places we wanted to go & others that he knew we'd like....awesome day, awesome holiday....we will be back 😊🍸

The property is dated but suits the location. Amazing staff, so friendly! Amazing beach and for us plenty of sunbeds.
Ignore all negative reviews. Book the Italian next door even if you book late reception does their best to accomodate. Local bus stop right outside, friendly locals.
Beaware of smoking outside patio, and make sure you are well away from the room. They tried to charge us as we had our cigerette packet on patio. We challenged and reception happily dealt with the removal of charge. 5 star catamaren cruise is a must.
We had an amazing family time!

Lovely!
Really friendly and attentive staff. Was really quiet when we were there but started to fill up with families with young noisy kids as Easter approached.
Great location right on the beach, and decent food.
The water taxi to the 3 other hotels in the group was handy for a change of scenery.
Taxis are really expensive - as is everything else! Duty free on gifts though bring prices down to UK levels.

Although it's our 3rd visit and the location is lovely found the actual hotel a bit dated ... Great staff and great food kind of make up for this
From the look of things they are having a room update .
1st time we've been since it became all inclusive..... an eclectic clientèle to say the least
