Staff looked very miserable, This comes over not so good when you are on vacation trying to have a lovely holiday

I wish I could leave a 0.
The hotels AC broke and flooded dirty water all over our clothes, handbag, suitcases and shoes just as we were about to fly home. The hotel apologised, admitted liability and asked us to send in a claim for all the damage. 2 months on and after numerous emails, they still admit fault, but no action, nothing. Marriott just keep saying hotel management will deal with it who are now not even responding to emails.

Needs a revamp, out dated, drinks watered down. Birds flying everywhere when eating. Bird poo on chairs where you eat and birds al around. Pooed on the food of a relative. Entertainment shocking finished at 10.30. had to wait 2 hours for room. No drinks on arrival waiting for us.

Our stay at Turtle beach was amazing. The resort was small and quaint. Food was great too! The staff was very friendly, especially Renaldo who runs the watersports. He made everyone feel comfortable on the water. We will definitely be back soon!!

Would.nt go back there if it was free.Room basic..Food if that what it was ;Awful..Staff are so rude..Birds flying round the tables and poop over the seats..DO NOT GO HERE..

It was about 50/50 for staff friendliness. Some were just rude. They had to cut the power off on our last day, and we were on the 4th floor. No elevator! Should have done after 12 check out! There's not much to do after dark! It's just an "ok" place. Water is really rough in the ocean.

A beautiful location, with access to the beach, it is very quiet to go and rest, an area with many waves, little activity for children or adults, almost nothing. Most of the employees are not that friendly. The WiFi connection is very bad.

Friendly staff. Good food. Very comfy bed. Just a little dilapidated in places and dated rooms.

Absolutely horrible experience, the rooms are all run down and need maintenance asap! Toilets don't flush. Rust all over the place. Plaster needed everywhere. As much as it disappoints me to say it, 80% of the staff seem pretty miserable here. No one is willing to help you. You wait to be seated at the common buffet area and have to wait for the hostess about 10 minutes. The staff seem unmotivated.
The food is flavorless and bland. The upkeep for this resort is poor. As for the beach front, amazing. Renaldo, the sports staff is great! Wants to teach everyone how to surf, we saw him save someone drowning in the ocean. Great guy!
For the rest of the resort it just seems to me like they have a very poor management situation going on that can easily be fixed. This place will not wow you, you will never want to return. I can understand if you’re in your 50’s but being in your 30’s no way.
It’s sad because a prime location like this can do so well for the community and country. This visit to the resort just ruined for us and all the other travelers.. I’m sorry and super disappointed. Never again.

Great location on the beach. Rooms need money spent on them. Poor long-term maintenance is evident. Despite the great location, room wise, such a poor product will continue to attract a large number of complaints, given such a high room rate. With such high rates, people expect much more.

Very nice facilities; but they could improve in some details. Staff is very welcoming, overall.

All inclusive hotel. Amazing staff and location

Be aware of this resort. Do not waste your money. Staff is very rude and unwilling to serve and take orders. Almost every where staff acts like you are bothering them. Staff needs to be trained or replaced. Will never come back

Bad service and staff were very rude!!they would take forever to bring water or any other thing you asked!!

I had stayed in Many resorts before this and i tell you this has been worst experience. They made me felt like i paid the money to stayed at this resort but i owed it to them. Never got a straight answer from people and never a smile expect from when i approached the management few times. Avoid this resort at any cost. Chef Mitchell was excellent but staff and service is Bad, Bad. If anyone from upper management is reading this than you need to fire alot people from the property. Do not waste your money in this resort

Stunning beach ⛱️ 😍

We had a good few nights in this hotel and although on the smaller side, everything is on hand and available.

The rooms was standard hotel types but the aircon was good and the rooms cleaned daily.

I have to say we had a great experience with the security on the gate as we hired a car and they always remembered our room number and made us feel welcome on return, sometimes the security at hotels blend into the background but they was top notch and a pleasure to speak to.

In researching were to stay in Barbados, we saw the reviews were mixed but we gave the property a shot. This was our first all-inclusive resort and we were pleasantly surprised by our stay. The resort offered picturesque views, and though the rooms were dated, they were spacious and comfortable. The a la carte restaurants had excellent offerings, and we especially enjoyed the variety of cocktails. The beach had ample seating options, including an ice cream shop and a cafe with healthier snacks near the pool area. Nightly entertainment was hit or miss, but we stayed for the entire fabulous Friday night performance by two singers. Breakfast could be repetitive, but don't miss the phenomenal omelets. The staff were friendly and helpful. Exploring the St. Lawrence Gap area and taking the local bus to the city center is recommended. The Oistens Fish Market is okay, especially on quieter Saturdays. An hour and a half is sufficient. We appreciated the onsite orientation and booked both on-property and off-property activities through the activities desk. Snorkeling and a catamaran ride are included. That was fantastic and I highly recommend you do both. Asiago was our favorite restaurant, and the complimentary bottle of prosecco and snacks in our room added to the positive experience. Our stay exceeded expectations, and we're grateful to everyone who made it extra special.

I went here with my family in November to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We got married at the same hotel 10 years ago so we went back there for the nostalgia & memories we had from before. We had a good time this time spending 10 days at Turtle beach. It was great to come back and the beach was as spectacular as we remembered.
Unfortunately the rooms had not really been updated since our last visit and they were looking a bit tired and unloved. The facilities in the hotel were still good and the drinks available for an all inclusive package were great, unfortunately the food did not match up. It was poor quality and the selection was small at most restaurants. We ended up eating out quite a bit which gave us costs we did not expect when going all inclusive. Overall we had a good holiday but unfortunately we will look at alternative hotels when we come back to Barbados.
