Excellent place, I recommend it.

Very nice hotel, beautiful site, good food, but a special mention to the entire entertainment team (Amelia, Lucia, Mar, Shelly, Carolin, Iambra, Alex, Leo, Wagner, Chocolate, Cafe, DJ Sandy, DJ Jean , Manuel, Roberto,Marco)
Thank you for the beautiful week. ❤😘

We had a very nice stay! The people in charge of the atmosphere and fun are so friendly! Waves are fun! On the beach, right you can take bogie boards, book a catamaran, windsurfing, the team helps you and it's completely free! Wagner and his team are always ready to help. Wagner is particularly kind and fun day and night, he even teaches us to dance!!

One downside, we were a group of 12 and for dinners, it is impossible to dine at the same table in the a la carte restaurants. We tried everything without success. The 3 times we had dinner at the a la carte restaurant, we were separated. They are not flexible for groups and that is a shame.

10 romantic days at Viva V.
1st time in all inclusive we didn't really know what to expect and in the end it was perfect!

Good points :

The buffet is very good and changes every day with special evenings, 3 other more “classy” restaurants are also good. The hotel is the perfect size, neither too big nor too small. Beautiful swimming pool with Bali beds, several bars. We were in a bungalow with a large bedroom, 2 huge beds, beautiful and spacious bathroom, tree-lined terrace with a small private swimming pool, the dream! Bungalow residents have a private bar with the friendliest bartenders.
Wifi available throughout the hotel.
The beach is very beautiful, waves are quite present, we had a good laugh.
The entertainment team is very friendly and not intrusive at all (special mention to Benjamin, Aya & Smilling). And especially Adonis who takes care of the bungalows (the best!!)

Negative points:

One of the representatives of the Viva Club, who I think is called Epifano or Estefano, was quite friendly the first 2 times but then showed himself to be very... too present, intrusive, awkward and disrespectful and brazenly accusing us of lying about ourselves. -saying paper that he had given us (which he never did!!!) The only real negative point in 10 days.
We fully understand that they are there to do their job but there are limits and he was the only representative who was a bit of a problem at the start of our stay, all the others were very friendly.

No umbrella, Montreal winter, vampiric white skin, sun & UV index at MAX, constantly looking for shade on the beach (thank you coconut trees!) Tip: index 60 is your best friend++
Few free deckchairs (people are up at dawn to take their deckchairs even though they are not on the beach, so quite boring!

No functional ATM so you have to withdraw cash first.

Apart from that it was crazy if you don't want to think about anything this is the place, thank you & see you next year!

Beautiful and good resort ☺️

I am traveling with friends on May 1, 2024.
The facilities look beautiful...so does the animation...I just want to know if there is a smoking area...see you soon Thank you

Really worth the trip. Beautiful hotel, the reception area alone upon arrival was incredibly beautiful. The service was great, the food was great and the evening entertainment was great.

Hello, we have been home for a week, unfortunately I also have to mention negative points about our trip. We landed in Punta Cana airport. Unfortunately the transfer to the hotel was the worst thing I have experienced. The driver was driving so fast that I felt sick, and he also hit a dog really badly. The way was already very long, 3.5 hours to the hotel is a disgrace. First room arrived at night, well clean is different and mold on the ceiling had complained to us. Next day we got another room it was OK. Unfortunately, the staff hardly speaks any German. The location is nice but there aren't enough sun loungers by the pool with umbrellas. The beach is very nice but unfortunately there are no umbrellas and they are very uncomfortable and hard. Unfortunately, the food was always cold.☹️ The second week everything was repeated.🙈 The entertainment was very nice and friendly, but again unfortunately no one spoke German.🤔 In general it was nice and quiet because it's not a children's hotel, but we still recovered.

We stayed at a neighbor hotel that did not have an ATM. Our hotel told us to come over to Viva. Apparently the hotel allows this. However at the front gate the guy laughed at us and refused to even call the front desk of Viva to confirm that we were allowed in. Rude and will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Great way to lose potential guests.

Beautiful hotel complex, friendly staff :)
The room was clean with a nice large balcony. Food was very good throughout the day (breakfast, snack bar, dinner).

Drinks are ok (pina colada/Bahama mama), or very good (Caipirinha)

Room was very cozy, comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly. Food was okay, no seafood. Beach is nice. Entertainment was good.

Everything is super really good the only downside is the morning for lunch, the service is 3 out of 10. The staff are, let's say, a mix, everyone does everything and no one does anything. You can just as easily have lunch without having anyone come to your table, or even without any coffee. Yes we are managing but for an 18 year old and over it is a huge lack. At lunchtime it's much better and in the evening 10 out of 10. So they can then why in the morning it's like that.... no idea.

But really everything else wow galore

I can only say one word. Amazing!

A very nice facility

A week in this 5-star hotel, very large rooms with a 2m double bed, good quality. Correct bathroom. Water bottles available every day. Small terrace. Air conditioner. Fridge and safe. Room service a little average and at all hours. The staff who attend to customers only speak English or Spanish. Those who take care of distracting the customers are, in my opinion, very intrusive, we are a little harassed. Not pleasant. This staff is very young and not at the top. There are a lot of distractions but we're not always aware of them, if at all...

Beautiful patio with private plunge pool!

If you like to party every night, this is the place for you. The beach is nice but the waves are too big. You have to walk 3km to the right to have crystal clear calm water. Female service in the restaurant was super friendly. Enough loungers and towels even if it is fully booked. Pool dirty, sometimes cutlery too. Otherwise beautiful facility. Rooms very clean.

Very nice place. We stayed in a bungalow. Private pool was cleaned daily. Food was good. Service was great! Nightly shows great, except for Friday night duo. Animacion team was very good, Mar was THE BEST!!!!!! Pleanty of activities all day long.
Bar at the beach was very good at making drinks. Yocairy was wonderfull and attentive! Overall, great place to stay.
If you don't like strong waves, you may not like it. For us, waves were 10000% fun!

This was my second visit to this hotel, my husband and I went for our honeymoon and we liked it more than the first time since they have made several changes to improve the service and comfort of the guests.
