Beautiful resorts. We enjoyed the pool a lot. Stayed here from Sunday to Wednesday in April and it was not too crowded at the pool. We stayed at the Westin Casina room and the location was perfect to go swimming. View from our room was also great! It's a little far from the main lobby but we'll definitely choose the Casina room again. Nightly s'mores were also great. Highly recommend.

Great place to visit

It's a great resort but it's a mess right now. The balance between classy and bookings is a mess. There's a lot of staycation people here so they had to do this paid parking lot nonsense, construction noise and dust, paired with the low summer rent it's wearing on the facilities. The lazy river thing is awesome but a lot of kids and weirdos. Being close to Kierland is nice otherwise I'd stay at the JW Marriott in desert ridge. Sorry for the brutal review, just being honest.

Update: world class service and resort.

I enjoyed my stay at the Westin Kierland. They had clean rooms that were maintained daily, even with high occupancy. Kudos to the cleaning staff. All facilities operated flawlessly. The staff were all polite and accommodating. The hotel's grounds, lobby, and dining areas were beautifully designed and picturesque. Overall, this stay ranks among my most memorable hotel experiences.

(The only con is that during a couple of small corporate networking events during my stay in early April, the bar supervisor was vocal and adamant about the upcoming drink cutoff times, well before the actual deadline, which was somewhat off-putting (I mean, we get it)).

I recommend Westin Kierland to anyone staying in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area for more than a couple of nights.

One of the nicest golf courses in Scottsdale.

Beautiful place. Had a complex convention here that went very well.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa in Scottsdale. Unfortunately my husband became very sick at 3AM. We were so impressed and grateful for all the assistance the Guest Arrival Expert, Sayantan Seth gave us!! He secured another room, assisted in carefully moving all our belongings. Sayantan was thoughtful, respectful and helped to ensure my husband was well cared for!!!

The Westin Kierland Resort and Spa is not only a beautiful and enjoyable vacation destination, you can count on the friendly staff to assist you when things don’t go as planned!

This property has gone from a high level resort for all walks of visitors to one that has rested on its laurels and is now a mid-tier golf hotel. Same amenities that it had in 2002, same undersized and ill-equipped fitness center, same pool and lazy river but all hemmed in by parking lots. The guest rooms are painted in a mid-century penitentiary dull gray. The kind of “resort” that brings in off-season low price seeking corporate business. There are far better choices in the valley and I recommend you avoid this one. I have had to stay here twice and it’s been one time too many.

Prime location. Nice resort with interesting restaurants.

Stayed here for 3 nights for a conference. This resort had everything we needed- from the golf course in the back, to the heated lazy river/pool, to the multitude of fire pits in the back. Staff was friendly and allowed us for a late checkout. Don’t forget about the shuttle service to the nearby shopping mall and golf course! Will have to be back :)

The resort was very nice, however beware of your credit cards. They charged me when I stayed in January 2024 and then again two months later in March, telling me my January charge “did not go through”. Obviously this is something I was able to confirm with my credit card company and it most certainly was paid in January. When I contacted them they were very flippant and didn’t seem to care at all. Very disappointing and I wonder how many people they do this to that might not notice.

stayed nearby for a convention here. very clean and modern. excellent service

Been returning every year since 2009!!! That should say something...

Great location for a conference

Love this place to stay for a couple nights or just to lounge around with friends over drinks. Modern hotel with beautiful views.

Don’t buy an ownership!! I purchased an every-other-year unit here and have yet to use it. My points that I accumulated all expired so all the money I put in is wasted. I’ve been trying to get in touch with someone for weeks by calling the sales office but no one answers or calls me back when I leave a messages. My points don’t get me what I was promised so I would like to warn other potential buyers.

Excellent Rooms. Great Room Service.
Plenty of Paid Parking Space.
Has a lot of fun activities to do.
Huge golf course. Heated outdoor pools and hot tubs.
Pickel ball courts, basketball, table tennis, outdoor chess and a lot more.
Loved the stay! Highly recommended.
