First visited Blue Waters seven years ago and fell in love with the hotel, the island and the whole experience. Have then had a holiday here yearly since, little lazy on our part but it ticks all the boxes. Over the years we have seen improvements and upgrades which has made the hotel more comfortable Food for an all inclusive is very good, of course there are a few niggles but hey it is the Caribbean. Staff on the whole are great and friendly and if you engage with them they are lovely . The only exception for me is the reception on some occasions. Having a change this year - but sure we will miss Blue Waters.
Rooms are overall very good and location superb. Lovely but run down. F&B is dreadful and spent on two occasions 20 minutes at front desk for staff to finish a call to check us in. Perhaps nice for couples but I now try to avoid Blue Waters for business trip to Antigua. It has its following as the rates are of poor value
These guys really know how to do all inclusive. The guy taking us to our room "introduced" us to the bar challenged us to try and drink it dry and said it will be restocked automatically daily. Now this level of service was only equalled by the quality of food and level of service in the three resort restaurants. All were good but be aware you do need to book them at least 24 hrs before hand. The pool bar had the most tasty flat bread pizzas. I know a pizza is a pizza but these are a bit special worth a try.
Just back from a 7-night stay at Blue Waters - our first trip to the Caribbean. My wife picked on reviews and a fair price and we certainly were not disappointed. Staff are great, rooms are well equipped and spacious and the food is a highlight. We elected to go 'All Inclusive' which, again, we had never done before; highly recommended - it's really nice to forget the cost of things and eat very well. We also loved the water sports on offer and chaps there are hugely helpful - snorkelled and sailed regularly. Consider the zip wires in the rainforest - not cheap but unusual. Also recommend booking a taxi driver (through the hotel) to see the island. You will probably see a bit of cloud and rain but always warm and often a relief! We will return.
Stunningly beautiful immaculately kept and serviced resort, they almost could not do enough for you but 2 small details made it not perfect. We asked for 2 things to be looked into and they weren't. Choice of 3 restaurants but all not available all the time. They preferred early bookings. Food choice excellent. Beach excellent with iced water, cold towels and fruit brought to your sun lounger. Our room was spacious, super bathroom, real coffee machine provided. Kettle too but nowhere safe to use it. Mini bar cool ish but not cold. We asked for these 2 things to be looked at more than once but they were not.
