A visit to the Marriott Stellaris, regardless of whether one opts for the Tradewinds upgrade, is going to be awesome. I can't say much that hasn't already been said repeatedly in the multitude of positive reviews for this hotel except for the following: The adults-only pool for Tradewinds was not a plus for me, and I did not use it. Instead I swam for hours each day in the "main" pool with adorable, well-mannered children and their attentive parents and grandparents. What a joy to see such happy families enjoying themselves. The pool for Tradewinds' guests was lifeless by comparison and didn't look like any fun at all. I know not everyone feels the way I do. I merely wanted to share a different perspective. I would tell anyone looking to travel to Aruba not to waste your time deciding at which hotel to stay. Choosing the Marriott Stellaris is a no-brainer.
the Buffett was exceptional..so much to choose from besides the traditional turkey dinner..everything was delicious..seafood.pasta made to order..fresh pizza..prime ribham..all the sides..omg & did i say all the desserts...Great job..Marriott..& to all the servers..especially Edwine..taking good care of us..kudos
I had the pleasure of staying here for four days. The hotel is amazing. The grounds are immaculate, and the lobby is beautiful. I would also love to know what kind of air freshener they use because it is heavenly! Everybody we encountered was fantastic. Kay, at check in, Jorge at the pool bar, and the ladies at the lobby coffee bar were all lovely! We had a room on the 7th floor with a view of the ocean. It is worth the upgrade. We also ate at la Vista, and the waves cafe. The hotel runs happy hour specials at different times all day, so don't be concerned about prices. We also booked a sunset cruise through DePalms tour company, which is located in the lobby. They hotel is in the process of adding a Starbucks and upgrading their health club. I did not notice any construction noise. Thank you for making my first trip to aruba a memorable one! Great job by everybody!
My wife and I just returned from our 18 anniversary trip to Aruba and we stayed at the Marriott. It is a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it. All staff was great and they all went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. We did the tradewinds upgrade and I highly recommend that as well. The beach was clean white sand and very well maintained. Our room was an ocean view and it was fantastic. The housekeeping crew was great also, they kept our room super clean. No one expected a tip but they were really appreciative when you gave them one. You could stay at the Marriott and not leave it and have a great time. If you wish to go out the taxi fairs are cheap and all taxi drivers we had were full of information and were glad to share it. All in all a great trip without any negatives to share, and that's uncommon these days!Thank you Marriott for a wonderful trip. My and and I are already discussing our next visit.
Over a year ago, on the advice of good friends, I took my wife here for our anniversary and the Marriott-Stellaris was simply perfect for a relaxing get-away. We loved it so much, we decided to bring our children (boy 12 and girl 7). Although there was a new Starbucks being constructed in the lobby, we had another phenomenal stay. This time we upgraded to a junior suite, which put us on the southern tip of the hotel's 4th floor with an amazing panoramic view of the beach and pool deck. Wood floors, wrap around balcony, and amazing views. The hotel staff was very friendly, and the servers down on the beach or by the pool were quick with our orders - especially at the 12-1 and 3-5 happy hours. Great location for families with nearby rafts, tubing, paddle boarding, pool volleyball, jet skiing, and parasailing.
