The elegant Caribbean styled Barcelo Aruba is comprised of two nine-story ocean front buildings. Overlooking the aquamarine sea, guests can relax in the sun, participate in a variety of water sports or try their luck in the casino and dance the night away in the nightclub.

Location: On spectacular Palm Beach, in the heart of the hotel zone, 20 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes to downtown Oranjestad.

New Years Getaway

This was our first trip to Aruba. We like the idea of the convenience of an all inclusive resort. We had an ocean view room that was roomy and clean. The beach was spectacular with palapas with lounges or chairs. I also liked the pool which had a hot spa in the middle of it. The resort has 4 reservation only restaurants and a more casual walk-in buffet style eatery. For the most part the food was very good. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. There is only 1 issue we had and that was housekeeping didn't show up the day before we left. An offer to clean the room at 6pm was declined. Overall, a great way to start the new year.

Just okay

The facility was clean and the staff was nice and helpful. The food was less than impressive. I’ve been to a few resorts in the Dominican and the food there was much better. After the second night we ended up eating at restaurants off the Resort for the remainder of the time. The pool was never overly crowded and the bartenders at the swim up were friendly. They’re very strict with there beach towel exchanges!The most upsetting part was the last 2 days we were there we were given no towels in the rooms. We had 3 rooms and had 2 between the 3. When we called and asked the women in the hall cleaning the rooms they just shrugged their shoulders. In the end, if this is priced lower then most others then I would go with it.

Christmas & New Year Vacation

My sister Sheila and I vacationed in Aruba at the Barcelo from 12-22-17 to 1-6-18. Sheila is a member of the Occidental Royal Club. Our room # was 1922: the beds were comfortable and our maid made sure that we had enough towels and toiletries for the length of our stay. . We would like to mention the following employees for their exceptional service during our stay. They were attentive to our needs; responded promptly to our special dietary requests; made sure that we were comfortable-where ever we were: the beach, at breakfast, lunch or dinner; resolved an issue we encountered at the beach and were always professional, pleasant and caring. Great overall experience

Great overall experience, the staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean a little too cold but the bed was very comfy and the food was pretty good. We were allowed to check out late around 2 which was great cause our flight didn’t leave til 6 so it was wonderful to have the whole morning at the beach and then be able to eat and shower before having to leave.

Love Barcelo!!!

This hotel is absolutely perfect!!! Jenny and her staff is extremely friendly and accommodating in every way. We are enjoying our time here planning our wedding for October. The wedding staff is top notch thanks to the help of Joally. Our favorite all inclusive hotel in Aruba. Food is excellent, hotel is spotless and the beach and pool is immaculate. We will be returning here in the future and cannot wait for our wedding!!!
