Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort
- What's Included
- All Inclusive Features
Have owned here for 15 years. Ever since they went to adding the All Inclusive bracelets. The service for the owners has suffered. If you don't want to pony up the additional $135.00 per person per day, the you will be ignored by the pool bartenders. Mulligans is still great. Also the rooms are getting really dated. No real discount anymore for the golf as owners also. With all the owners pay per year and what we paid for the actual contract. you would think that we might get something better or at least equal too what the everyday rent by day get.
There were 9 of us in our party staying at the Divi Golf and Beach Resort. We had two 12 year olds, two 15 year olds, and a 21 year old as well as the two sets of parents. We were pleased with our entire trip from the moment we arrived! To begin, we chose to do the all inclusive package. We were never disappointed with the way we were treated because we wore a bracelet. Some reviews commented on being treated differently (longer waits at restaurants and watered down alcoholic drinks). We never had an issue the entire week we were there. Our drinks flowed consistently with added alcohol without asking and the service at all the restaurants was fantastic. Make your reservations daily for two days in advance reservations or you won't get in to the restaurants. We ate at all the restaurants on the three Divi properties. We absolutely loved Windows. None of the restaurants charge an additional price if you wear the all inclusive bracelet. We were never charged for a single thing we ate or drank all week. We enjoyed PureLime very much as well. The food was very good. Mulligans has a great lunch and dinner as well. We were not to happy with Red Parrot. The view at the beach for dinner is beautiful but the food wasn't the best. The breakfast buffet at Seabreeze at Divi Golf is better than the buffets at the other two properties. It's smaller at Divi Golf so the lines are short and food is fresh and hot. I didn't feel the same about the other two buffets. The pools are great! The one near Seabreeze is quiet. The walk up bar is so convenient to get a drink or to order lunch. The infinity pool with the pool bar and slide is a quick 5 minute walk. It's worth visiting late in the afternoon for happy hour. There was always chairs available. We never once had to claim a chair early in the morning. We would come up the pool or beach by 10:00 and there was always chairs at the pool and beach. There was always shaded palapas at the beach available too. Maybe the first week of August is their quiet time but we loved it. The other two properties on site were busier with daily entertainment and night time shows. We just walked to these properties for our entertainment. It was just a quick 5 minute walk. No need for a shuttle. The beach is just AMAZING!!! Crystal blue water and white soft sand. We did the jeep safari tour with ABC tours. They were great! We also went to Barefoot Aruba restaurant one night close to downtown. The tables are in the sand at the beach. They are known for their amazing sunsets. Don't miss out! Great vacation!! We will be back again soon!!
We were there for a week. Food is outstanding and service is good. We purchased the all inclusive. It was a mistake because we never reached the amount per day that we paid. If we go again, we will not get the all inclusive.
Let me start by saying we didn't have a clean stay at this Resort. As soon as we got here I knew it was not going to be a good one. They made us wait until exactly the check in time even though the room was ready. We could have forgotten about that if at least we had a clean and fresh room. I report it the same night and they send us an air purifier which made no difference. The kitchen smell like onion and the room and bathroom smell dirty(you could see the build up of grime and hair from previous guest). Not coming back to this Resort and will not recommend to any of my family and friends. I feel we weren't treated better because we booked through RCI.
My husband and I stayed here for our one year wedding anniversary. We did the all inclusive package for our stay. Check-in went wonderfully. Out room wasn't ready yet we were able to leave our bags with the bellman and find somewhere close to the front desk to grab a drink and some lunch. Chinet was our bartender at the sea breeze. He was amazing. We weren't sure what we wanted to drink, so he made us the Aruba Aruba drink. Which was delicious. It did not take too long for our room to be ready as our buzzer went off as our food was delivered 30 minutes after we arrived. We were shuttled to our one bedroom suite which was equivalent to your own apartment while you were here. The room was spotless and beautiful. Mulligans had some pretty delicious breakfast. Even better pizza. Windows dinner was fabulous. The walk to the beach was not as far as you'd think. It was only right across the street. The beach was kept clean. The infinity pool was fantastic! Gomara, one of the infinity pool supervisors, was the BEST! She was quick. Very attentive. Never let our drinks run out before making us something new. She gave us great pointers on what to do on the island as well. We spent a lot of our time at the pool Bar. The food was delicious as well. We loved the Caesar salad and the chicken wrap. The wings and nachos were also a must have. We ate at the tamarijn at the palm grill. It was amazing. We saw one of the most beautiful sunsets we had ever seen there. Making your own food was a whole lot of fun. Who would think cooking while you are vacation would be a fun? It was an awesome experience there. We also ate at ginger which is also at the tamarijn. I highly recommend the beef and noodles. Also the green curry muscles is a must. We also tried the buffet and paparazzi also located at the tamarijn. The lobster bisque at paparazzi was absolutely perfect. The buffet was packed. But they were never out of food. The made to order food never took too long either which was nice. Over at the divi all inclusive we ate at the red parrot. That was one of our first meals while staying in Aruba and it was not disappointing. We also had pure lime on our last night there. The tacos and fajitas were amazing. So were the margaritas. Over that the tamarijn we found a favorite bartender. Diego. He was hilarious. And also one who would never let your drink become empty. He made some of the BEST drinks I have ever had. But will never know the name of because he wouldn't tell. He would simply say "sweet or not sweet?" And when ever you asked for the name he would say "is it not good? Okay then. I'm doing my job right. Let me worry about what you're drinking". We had an amazing time on the De Palm Tours Jeep tour to the Natural pools. Our driver was Gio. He was hilarious. He knew so much about the island that every question we had was answered. The natural pools are a must see. We had absolutely no problems while we were there. We made plenty of memories and a few friends during our stay. Everyone was so happy and friendly. How could you not be while staying at such a beautiful island. I recommend everyone to go see Aruba. It was fantastic.
