Comfort Suites Paradise Island
- What's Included
OverviewFor those in search of value and convenience, Comfort Suites Paradise Island can be a precious find. This hotel has nicely furnished suites that are well equipped with modern amenities. But the hotel's prime location is really its biggest selling point - guests are practically on the doorstep of the Atlantis resort and have full access to their fabulous facilities including their beach, pools, water slides, Lazy River Ride, health spa, tennis and Atlantis Kids Camp, and more.
Stayed 1 night to take advantage of deal for Aquaventure at Atlantis. Nice hotel, solid breakfast. Very developed area on Paradise island. They have a small pool and no direct beach access. Crusoes restsurant was good, would like a more authentic Bahamian meal. Everything was close to walk on island or you could take a short taxi to Downtown Nassau.
After wanting to visit Atlantis on a budget, we decided on this hotel for spring break this year. The hotel was decent, average (but a bit dated) rooms and amenities, however having free breakfast was pretty awesome. Our room was fairly noisy, as it was right above the lobby and faced the street, but this was really the only major negative thing we encountered. The biggest perk of this hotel is the full access to Atlantis; all you have to do is show a photo ID at the Beach Towers desk on your first day and you get a wristband you can use all week. The location is also really great, as it's right next to the Coral Towers and a 5-10 minute walk to the Royal Towers lobby area. I normally stay at the Harborside Resort at Atlantis when visiting the island and this hotel is even closer to everything at Atlantis than that, so it's incredibly convenient. If you want the full Atlantis experience, you may want to stay in one of the towers there, but if all you're looking for is full access to the resort, this hotel is definitely the way to go.
Just returned from a March visit and wanted to share the great experience that we ( family of 4) had at Comfort Suites Paradise Island. We arrived mid-afternoon and our room was not quite ready. They had a comfortable lounge area where we had no issues waiting. Without asking we were provided with some nice drinks on ice by a woman that I believe was a manager (I saw her working everywhere). It was a small gesture that meant a lot to us after a long flight. The room was a nice size with a sitting area and sliding doors that you could exit to the pool. The air conditioner was a little noisy but not an issue. Many have mentioned the included breakfast (more than adequate) which was right next to the pool. Access to Atlantis required only 1 trip to get the bracelet (bring picture id for the adults only). You could leave your room to the beach (or Casino) in about 10 mins, Most of the walking being through Atlantis. We'd spend the day at Atlantis and come back to our hotel for one more dip in the pool (never busy and a swim up bar should you want a drink). We took a local cab (orange plates with black letters/numbers) to and from the airport, One thing I really liked, when we left the hotel was the ease in which to get a cab (we did once for the airport ($40US) and another to go downtown ($15). They wait a nice distance from the hotel and the doorman calls them up. The doorman also tells you what to expect to pay. It had a small town feel where the Atlantis has all kinds of activity at the front door with shuttles and tours, people lining up etc...I was so glad to avoid that. When we left to the airport we walked out, the doorman waved up the cab and we were off...so convenient. The food is pricey but we liked a restaurant across the street called Anthony's where the pizza was good plus they had a happy hour.
We recently returned from a week here and found it to be very accommodating. The biggest perk is complete access to Atlantis! In just a short walk across the street, you can be at this phenomenal resort! Our room was quite comfortable, never noisy, and very clean. The free breakfast was another definite perk! Several hot items, such as scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, many pastry choices, waffles, oatmeal, cold cereals, yofurt, fresh melon, etc.and of course coffee, tea, and juice.
We travelled with another couple and really enjoyed our stay. First of all the price is right and you have access to all of the amenities at Atlantis Resort. The service here was really good from the front desk to the cleaning service, the Bartenders at the pool bar and the restaurant. The room was adequate and clean. The free breakfast buffet was good, serving scrambled eggs, cereal, make your own waffles, French toast ,coffee, juices and desserts. We thought all of the employees were very good and friendly and answered any question we had. From the Comfort it is a very short walk to the Atlantis and also across the street there is a small shopping center with small shops and restaurants. The price for food is a little high but not bad enough to really make an issue of it. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone. Good value for families, couples or friends. I want to give a special thank you to Michael the bartender at the pool bar. We had a great time with him.. Ask him to sing you a song while having a drink there. Also want to thank Louise who cleaned our room every day. Great Lady and does a great job.
