Comfort Suites Paradise Island
- What's Included
OverviewFor those in search of value and convenience, Comfort Suites Paradise Island can be a precious find. This hotel has nicely furnished suites that are well equipped with modern amenities. But the hotel's prime location is really its biggest selling point - guests are practically on the doorstep of the Atlantis resort and have full access to their fabulous facilities including their beach, pools, water slides, Lazy River Ride, health spa, tennis and Atlantis Kids Camp, and more.
The staff here were great. We arrived with a party of 8 loaded down from a stop at the grocery store. The room wasn't ready so all our stuff had to be stored. Big shout out to Joshua who stored and tagged our 21 items and chatted with my son about Cavs basketball. We enjoyed breakfast and even though it was crowded, items were replaced quickly. Daily access to Atlantis worked out well and we were there early until 6pm every day. Loved the Cove beach behind the rapid river. Don't miss Junkanoo on Saturday at 9:30 pm in Marina Village. We enjoyed Caruso's restaurant in the hotel and we liked Anthony's across the street. The Poop Deck restaurant right over the bridge had an amazing view of the harbor.
Stayed in room 375 this past weekend - while the price was good, the room was dated, the smell of mold on the 3rd floor was not welcoming. To top it off we ended up with bed bugs! The staff was not helpful or empathetic when brought to their attention - it took 3 calls to get them to come to the room. We will NEVER stay there again - no matter the price.
We had an average experience at the Comfort Suites. The free access to Atlantis is what makes this hotel nice. It is only a 5 minute walk to the Atlantis and less to the village so that is a huge plus. Other than that we did not have many other good things to say about this hotel. The hotel is old and outdated. Parts of the hotel have an old and musty smell. Most of the staff are friendly but our checkin & check out were very bad experiences. When we stayed there the beginning of October the pool was closed the entire week. The restaurant was also closed. The free breakfast is nice if you can find a place to sit. Your not allowed to take the food out of the breakfast area and there is very limited seating. There is only a 3 hour window for breakfast and with a hotel this size it gets packed! The hotel is clean and picked up for the most part. It is just very outdated. The wifi is free but very spotty & slow.In summary, we will definitely come back to Nassau/ Paradise island but we will be paying the extra $50-$100/ night to stay at the Atlantis. We will NOT stay at the Comfort Suites paradise island again.
I stayed at Comfort Suites a few days ago. The access to Atlantis, complimentary breakfast, and free WiFi was probably the only good thing about the hotel, but the GREAT thing was the agent at the desk who registered my husband and I to the room. Her name is Clarrisa and she was excellent! She kept us informed, gave us good tips, and always greeted us with a smile whenever we passed through the halls. She made me feel very much welcomed and ensured that my stay was great. As for the other agents, they weren't as enthusiastic or genuine as she stroked us to be, so for that, THUMPS UP FOR HER! Continuing though, The Atlantis was fun and was more than my husband and I expected. The breakfast could be improved in terms of preparation, and the complimentary business centre was a good touch on the stay as well. I would rate everything as a 6/10 but Clarrisa rose that to a definite 9.5/10(not a full 10 because there's still more to improve. I'll be returning soon and hope to be greeted by her once again!
We stayed at the comfort suites with a wedding group. The hotel is clean and neat. The rate was reasonable for paradise island. Your hotel stay includes an all access pass to Atlantis park and Amenities. Also included is breakfast.
