Beautiful, but Needs Some Help

We were late arrivals (11:30 pm) and they were not set up for that at all. The gentleman who greeted us was friendly, but not very knowledgeable about the property, I think he was the night watchman. There was no ice available, apparently they shut down the ice machines at 11. Worst of all, they had not turned on the ACs in our cottages so it took two hours for the bedrooms in the cottages to cool down. The property itself is charming, very old Caribbean, lawns and coconut palms surrounding the attractive pool area. The cottages are spacious and well appointed, with small kitchens, living rooms, and nice terraces.Conveniently, breakfast is available in the restaurant, but note that it is not included in room rate.

Great place to stay in Barbados

March 17th and we have just returned from our 27th annual trip to Barbados, for the last 10 years we have stayed at the All Seasons Resort Europa for seven weeks, we feel this location is great, close to the beach, shopping and excellent restaurant's. The resort is very nice, large clean individual apartment's with all you need for everyday living, plus having the charm of being on a Caribbean Island. Sherry has been our maid for all of our visits and makes us feel very welcome and comfortable, Audi the gardener keeps the grounds in pristine condition, maintains the pool every day and is also a lot of fun to be with, for any other information and help when you are there Cheryl and Kelly at reception will only be to happy to answer any questions. We are already booked for 2018, so if you want an ideal place to stay in Barbados this is for you.Betty and Donald Macpherson.

Good value, friendly hotel

Theere is a lot to be said for this hotel and our group has enjoyed its stay here during the cricket series v West Indies. Each room is large, and we know that our school groups can comfortably sleep 3 or 4 to an apartment. With the useful lounge and kitchen you have everything you need to be self-sufficient if required. Some apartments have been updated and some still need some attention, but its the little things that need to be sorted out. Its a shame the hotel charges for the use of the room's safe, and then having been charged, a number of them went faulty with guest's belongings very safely locked away. Breakfast was included for the group too, but you should check in advance as to whether you are a la carte or buffet. As only a few breakfasts are served it would be better to go a la carte in my opinion.Generally though everyone has enjoyed the hotel for it close proximity to Holetown's beach bars and shops, though an addition of more regular shuttle services would definitely be welcome.I am sure we will be back.

Perfect hideaway on the west coast

This is the fourth time in as many years that we have stayed at the Four Seasons and it will not be the last. Hard to beat the location, just ten minutes walk from the heart of Holetown. And although some people would prefer a beach-front hotel, we find the lay-out of the All Seasons - thirty-odd bungalows arranged around a swimming-pool, with plentiful tropical fauna and flora - wonderfully restful. Our fellow guests were a nice mixture of Brits and Canadians, with a median age of around 55. The staff are uniformly friendly, there is simple bar food plus a pretty decent Indian restaurant, and it is hard to think of any negatives -unless you include the odd troop of green monkeys wandering freely through the grounds! In short, a real find, and warmly recommended.

All Seasons Resort, Barbados

This was our third visit to the island. We found the All Seasons Resort to be very basic and the furnishings were extremely tired. Having said that several guests return year after year. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the location is close to shops, restaurants and bus routes (approx 10 mins walk). However, on hindsight, we would have preferred to pay more to have a more modern apartment with dishwasher, washing machine and decent wifi. We were in a garden apartment and were aware before we left that wifi only worked in the public areas, however, even here it was difficult to use and very slow.
