Coconut Court Beach Hotel
- What's Included
We visited Barbados for 18 days on the 14th August and had the best holiday we've ever had! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Especially the beach bar staff, in particular Ryan. He made sure we got the most out of our trip, telling us different places to travel and the best things to do! He couldn't help us enough. He always makes the best cocktails.. deffo try the mango daiquiris! We will definitely be returning next year! Hopefully Ryan is still there and we can experience the same service we did this year!😊
We returned to The coconut Court for our Holiday and booked two adjoining standard rooms and requested top floor which we got.The general facilities were as usual good , pools and beach area .We travelled with our Daughter and Grandson on this trip so we knew the hotel as have been here on several trips before .The first evening we ate in the deck restaurant but found service was not as good as previous stays and food was average we thought, could have gone to another restaurant and got a better meal and cheaper. Our room was OK but bathroom was worn out for need of a better word and needs refitting and décor is outdated and needs brightening up in our opinion. The kitchenette is far to small and considering the size of the room could be a lot bigger and accommodate a set of table and chairs however room is big and good views of beach. My Daughter next door had the same room but had numerous problems during our stay. The air conditioning leaked on one occasion but being fair was rectified within a couple of hours, the kettle was replaced twice ,the telephone stopped working but also was sorted quickly ,wiring is however a bit untidy. But worst of all the battery operated fire alarm on the ceiling bleeped all night and was not fixed until the next morning meaning my daughter and 3 year old Grandson did not get much sleep .No offer of a nights refund was offered which I was not happy about and should have been done in my opinion. The staff generally were very helpful and checking in and out was good The free transfer bus to and from the airport is a great improvement on previous stays.Would I stay at the Coconut Court again in a Standard Room defiantly not. The Superior rooms are a lot better and have nice bathrooms but the cost was to high to pay. Other hotels we know offer a better standard room and lower costs . As we have stayed here on several occasions over the last 20 years of holidaying in Barbados I think the hotel should offer a discounted Superior room is available to regular guests . however we survived the week and generally had a good holiday in Barbados.
Had a amazing 2 week stay at this fantastic hotel, friendly helpful staff, comfortable rooms and beautiful food and drinks, The beach is breathtaking and beautifully kept, it truly can't be beaten, such a chilled out place , big shout out to Ryan & Akeem at the bar, Already looking forward to our next visit 🌴❤️🌴
We stayed here for two weeks in August. We had booked into one of the standard rooms which was quite adequate but as we were to stay for 2 weeks we decided to upgrade to one of the modernised rooms, this room was more hotel like and included toiletries. In both rooms there is a kettle and microwave and cutlery and pots for two so we could make our own breakfast etc. In the upgraded room there was also a small sink for washing up the pots, although, if I hadnt washed up, the chambermaid did. The room was kept beautifully clean by the staff and all overlook the sea. All of the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. The family who own the hotel hold a "managers" welcome party each week offering rum punch and canapes. The beach is beautifully maintained, plenty of sunbeds and the sea safe for swimming with a small reef just off shore easily visited for snokelling. Nice beach boardwalk too just a 100 yds or so along the beach which runs for around 1.5 miles. Swimming pool small, but ideal for children and really not essential with the lovely sea available. Couple of nice restaurants nearby and if you like running you can circuit the horse racecourse 5 mins. up the road. Free shuttle to town each morning and plenty of public buses right outside. The road is busy and can be a little noisy but not really a big issue. The rooms are located in four storey blocks with no lifts, so if you have difficulty climbing stairs remember to ask for a ground floor or low floor room. A delightful hotel which I have no hesitation in recommending and we would gladly stay there again.
My family and I visited The Coconut Court Beach hotel with friends Aug 17. We were all extremely impressed and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The staff are extremely friendly and polite, we found everyone were really helpful and made our holiday memorable! The rooms are well equipped and clean ours with a fridge and microwave. Our room was cleaned everyday. The gardens and pool area are kept clean and tidy........and the beach, imagine a Caribbean oasis and your not to far wrong!! Can't wait to visit again and sample some more Rum punch!!!
