the perect place to unwind

I've never felt so relaxed in years. Everything about the hotel was for the customers pleasure. The staff want every visitor to have the perfect holiday and go out of their way to help achieve this. Sitting in the dining room you overlook the Caribbean and it's just what you've booked up for. The trips were well organised and our free lift from the airport was waiting for us when we arrived. We stayed in the annexe across a fairly busy road but the traffic stopped to let you over most times, it's in their nature to be friendly. Although we had no sea view we did have a lovely green area with plenty of trees which was very peaceful (until the cock crowed). My one gripe was the bathroom. Although perfectly funcionable it was rather shabby. Never mind it served it's purpose and won't stop me going back.

.......and breathe............

I don't actually want too many people to know about this hotel as we intend to return and want to be able to do so easily!!! I arrived quite stressed with hunched shoulders mainly due to work stress. Then, after arriving fairly late in the evening , had a fitful nights sleep due to a very noisy in room fridge. I marched down to reception the following morning to complain ( told you I was 'hunched' and stressed!). The way I was greeted put me at ease straightaway. Not a problem... Lovely staff ......The fridge was completely replaced within the hour and I started to melt into the Bajan way. From that moment on I became totally chilled. Wonderful staff everywhere . The beach is heavenly. Plenty of sun loungers on a beautiful beach. We saw colourful fish and turtles in the reef each day. Be sure to to bring snorkels, although you can actually wade out up to knee high and just watch the fish in the clear sea below.Plentyof paces to eat locally. We loved Blakeys on the boardwalk for food and live music. Mamamia cross road for quiet pizza on the balcony night and Oistens for super fresh fish. Everyone should know by now that Antonio at the Seagrapes beach bar is wonderful and really makes the CocunutCourt experience particularly special but he is absolutely superb and his friendly banter and ability to remember everyone's names and drinks certainly made our holiday ( we like an occasional drink!)Ted's tour, which runs from this hotel ( he is part of the family) was a tremendous way to experience the island and is highly recommended. . We also enjoyed two trips on Calabaza sailings to swim with turtles -both wonderful experiences.Absolutely can not wait to return to Barbados and would not consider staying anywhere else other than Cocunut Court because I certainly feel the 'One love'!!

Gorgeous!

Stayed here for a week after a 7 night cruise and it was lovely! We were in room 78 which was a superior oceanfront room. The room was a good size with a huge bed and the bathroom was gorgeous. Rooms kept very clean throughout the entire stay. Fabulous view from the balcony. The pools were beautiful (although we never went in them, just went in the sea) and were kept well maintained. There was also plenty of tables around the pool area to sit and relax during the day and enjoy the entertainment during the evening. We loved The Bridgetown Boys who played at the managers party and DJ Mathew, who was there a few evenings, played a good mix of songs. The beach is gorgeous and had plenty of sun loungers. The sea in front of the hotel is great for snorkelling in and you always see turtles and we even saw one ray. The food from The Deck was gorgeous and because of this we didn't venture far from the hotel at all. We went to the managers BBQ party, the poolside BBQ and the Bajan buffet which were all fantastic! We have never tasted ribs as nice as the ones we had at the managers BBQ! The other times we ate here from the lunch and dinner menus were also fantastic. The flying fish sandwich is delicious! All the staff here were lovely but would like to say that Antonio was super lovely and Jawon felt like a friend by the time we left - a truly, lovely guy!Would definitely return to Coconut Court should we ever stay in Barbados again!
