- What's Included
This is a very nice hotel and you will not be disappointed. Clean rooms, well appointed. We were here with several friends no colleagues and had a look at many locations. They are all pretty nice. If I have to complain about anything, it would be the wifi- but when you are on vacation in Barbados you should not be playing with your technology- right? I will add that I was here for a meeting and the wifi in the meeting area was great- no complaints there. The customer service was unbelievable. Such friendly helpful staff! They are there to be helpful, but they are also gracious and welcoming and do it all with a mix of humor and efficiency. I would post pictures but I think the photos on TripAdvisor are accurate. It is a lovely location.
My husband and I stayed here for a week. Our room was great, the hotel itself is very nice. The staff was very attentive and polite. He private beach is beautiful (although they need more chairs and umbrellas.) Here's the only problem.... the food is not good! The breakfast was buffet style and typical not great hotel breakfast. The beach bar was fine for drinks, but lunch was bad. Fish sandwich was pathetic! We had it the first day then walked over to Cuzz's fish shack everyday after that for lunch. Cuzz's has the best fish sandwich!!!Had dinner at The Grille one night. Pretty expensive. VERY slow. Food was good, but not worth the price! We would stay here again, but not eat here. Plan on having cash to take a taxi to dinner every night!
A nice hotel with good rooms and very comfortable beds. Somewhat overpriced for the experience and the facilities. Our extra-price room upgrade did not get us anything out of the ordinary. Very nice private beach area. Because of hotel outdoor activities in the evening the room was loud at night even with the window closed and the shades drawn.
When you visit, be sure to say hello to Adrian, Ramon, Cheryl, and George! The entire staff will make you feel right at home...the entire experience is one you will remember for a lifetime! We will absolutely be returning...soon!
My parents renewed their vows at the resort so I opted to stay there for the festivities. The staff was absolutely amazing. You can see they enjoy what they do and they represented the Hilton name well. I stayed in the Business Executive Suite and had a gorgeous view of the ocean on the 6th floor. The business suite means you get access to the business lounge. The continental breakfast actually included hot and cold food items which was perfect. There was a cocktail hour as well. These two additions helped to keep costs lower as I did find the food and the drinks especially, were expensive. For example, you could buy one local beer on the resort for 10BDS but get 4 for 10BDS at the shops within walking distance. I took advantage of some of the complimentary activities as well and enjoyed spa service. The beach has a variety. If you want to ride the waves, go to the beach on the pool side. If you're looking for calmer waters, walk to the beach near the car park at the front of the hotel - the best of both worlds.I would recommend also signing up for the Hilton Honours program (which is free). You get a free local paper during the week days which was always nice to wake up to before heading down to the lounge.
