I stayed here on a business trip since it was close to my meeting location, and I try and stay at Hiltons. This hotel was good - nothing special. The staff were very gracious and they upgraded my room. The restaurant is small with a fairly limited menu. Breakfast is also somewhat limited - typical European buffet - but good for what they have. Don't count on the breakfast wait staff to bring you anything though!
The location of the hotel central and an easy starting point to explore Brussels. I would not say the hotel was up to Hilton standards. The rooms are small and outdated. The only reason you knew you were at a Hilton one in the room was the shampoo. Not a good workspace in the room hence the reason the lobby and bar were filled with people working on thier laptops in the evening.
There is always a choice to be made and this hotel has an excellent location. Brussels is marvelous but you have to be wary of the cobbled streets hurting your feet. The same applies to the hotel. Pick a room high up to escape the city noise. Then the chances are you will love the hotel as much as you love Brussels.
Just returned from a two night stay at your hotel very clean and tide . Just over the road from a shopping centre but a 10 minute walk to main square for the Christmas market . Plenty of restaurants by hotel to eat in . We would recommend this hotel .first time in Brussels and really enjoyed are stay 🙂
I had booked my stay at this hotel on Hilton Hhonor membership site for 3 nights stay starting 13th Nov- From the beginning of our stay everything we thought or asked was not given- Firstly we arrived at brussells central station from Amsterdam and I called the hotel to guide me to the nearest station but they just told me take the metro and did not tell me which station etc so we got down on the other station not in front of Hilton with 4 heavy bags and when I booked I specifically asked for quite and large room but I was given a dingy small room on 08th floor-the room seprates from bathroom and bathroom flesh does not work and there is no place in the room to stand it's so small and dark so I asked for a change of room the person at frontdesk said we are sold out but I insisted they said wait we will call you after 15 minutes of wait I called again that time the person spoke rudely and asked me to come down then the 3 people including a manager spoke some thing in their language which looked like a clear insult to me and before that when we arrived on a rainy night with heavy bags we had to wait for more than 10 minutes as there were other guests checking in and there is no preference for a Hilton hhnor member and I had requested again at reception please give a good room and on the second time when I came down they took me to show another room which was no different from the first room only difference being here toilet was better so we choose this room and we had difficulty sleeping in the soft pillow and asked for a hard pillow the they get the same pillow and just say this is what we have and in the room there was a strange light which gets on in the night and I spoke twice scared what it was and strange noise which continued full night to disturb an entire sleep and I complains next morning at reception and then toilet was so uncomfortable that wash basin you cant even was your face all water will fall down and for this room there are several steps which we have navigate our bags on our own and once we had beer in the bar the bar people were staring at us every minute I don't know for what reason that we felt awkward and left in between when we asked for lighet they refused to give and despite telling them to not to take our glass while going out for smoking they removed our glass and kept it a corner shady table and on 3rd night I logged in my laptop for the first time to finish some work and but internet was not working when I called they said 15 minutes it would take and I waited at midnight and after 30 minutes when I called I was shocked to hear the answer that it would take 15 minutes or 1 hour we don't know and I asked whether it would come they said we don't know- is that the assurance we get from Hilton- That too I am waiting without sleep to send those emails and lastly when I asked previous day just for 2 hour extension as our train was in the evening the lady said we are sold out same lady and same answer as while I was checking in and when I insisted at least an hour she said when in we can see she dint talk to anyone and comes back saying ok- I am not sure if this is the attitude Hilton has- I was very disappointed.
