In a nutshell: an OK hotel but does not match the HILTON standard we are normally used to. On the positives: good and convenient locationOn the negatives: slow service, simply adequate rooms on the small side without the amenities normal for HILTON

First Time in Brussels

The hotel was wonderful from check in to check out, Front Desk, Breakfast in the restaurant, there were at least two men and one woman who were excellent bartenders in the late evening after we were done wandering around the country/city.

A Week at the Hilton Brussels City

Excellent location (Place Charles Rogier), good staff, good food (breakfasts and dinners), restaurant small and right beside Bar, can be noisy and not conducive to 'fine dining'. Rooms badly need refurbishment. No tourist info.

The hotel does not match the quality of the Hilton

Executive Lounge is absent. Instead of a minibar, an empty refrigerator. The rooms are almost not cleaned. Fallen under the table on the day of arrival, the nut, lay there until the day of departure. I did not raise it specially to see if they would remove it, or not. They did not remove it. Breakfast is lean and not tasty. And this is in Belgium - in a country of haute cuisine! In the bar there are 3 sorts of draft beer, and only blond varieties. In Belgium !! Staff - lazy and boorish. In general - a parody of the Hilton.

Great location but not up to Hilton standards

This hotel is in a great location. Close to the Gare Noord station where you can easily catch trains to Brugge or the airport, also the highs peed trains stop here. 3 minute walk to the beginning of the shopping district, 15 minute walk to the Grand Place. Everything easily accessible. The hotel lobby is nice and modern, as is the lobby bar. Once you go up to a room the situation changes. The carpet/ floors in the elevators need a good cleaning as do those in the hall. In the room the rug was badly stained as were the drapes. It looked like several people had opened soft drinks and sprayed some in the room. We were able to see three different types of mold in the bathroom and had allergy symptoms every time we went in there. Also, whenever you open the bathroom door, all of the lights come on. Not a problem if you're by yourself, but yo will definitely wake your partner in the middle of the night, either with the light or by you running into the wall because you're blinded when going back into the dark room. Be careful of the toilet tissue dispenser too. It's mounted in that six inch space between the toilet and the wall behind you. Also. the make up mirror must have been installed by an NBA star. One would need to be at least 6'6" to use the thing. This hotel is not up to the standards of other Hilton properties we've stayed at.
