Well appointed Hotel with exellent amenities located near shopping and a business district

I stayed 5 days in a "deluxe room" with breakfast included in a pre-paid special rate. The room was quite large for a European Hotel and overlooked Plcae Rogier. It is across the street from the City 2 Shopping Center and the a street loaded with interesting shops and eateries. The Hotel is a 10 minute walk to the Grande Place and is located a five minute walk to the Brussels Noord train station. It also is located in one of the large business districts int he city. So while you cna enjoy the touristy Grande Place area which is only a short walk the hotel is far enough away where you do not fell or hear the hustle bustle of the tourist area. All in all a good value and a god location for shopping tourism and business

below hilton standards

Problems with the external noise,shower water pressure,tv reception. No real solution was offered but they tried at least. Would like to see in the future Hilton Standards as they were few years back.

Good stay

I had such a wonderful stay in Hilton. I have pre booked my two nights and both nights was good.the best location in the City. Staff was friendly and helpful. the only issue that receptionist couldn't explain me why they charging city tax from my credit card. the bit annoying was that I paid 2 nights city tax while check-in, but they asked again from my friend, because I checked out early morning.overall it was ok experience and I am giving 3 star because of the best Location and good breakfast, but they need to have professional staff to satisfy the guest and dont confuse the guest.

Fine Hilton in a good location in Brussels

This Hilton is in a convenient location. Fitness center was quite enjoyable to visit. The breakfast was included and the breakfast restaurant had a broad selection of foods. The hotel has no parking, but Rogier underground parking is right next to the hotel (30 second walk), and it was reasonably priced. The bedding is of the usual good Hilton quality. One negative is the absence of an executive lounge -- the hotel offered bar vouchers instead, and the bar is good.

Mismanaged reservation and payment

My reservation was mixed up with another guest's. As a result I was checked out halfway into my stay against my knowledge while attending the expert meeting I was in town for. My room was cleared and my unpacked luggage put on the floor in the reception. I did not receive any mail or call about the situation and when I arrived my key card was not working (since I had been checked out and no one had bothered to tell me). It took 40 min for me to get my luggage back and receive a new room and a key card that worked. And to top it off: my credit card was used for the other guest's bill! Small room, old and worn furniture, smell from smoking in the bathroom, clogged sink. I will not stay there again and I would not recommend it to anyone.
