Good location and modern, large rooms. Good food. The only I am very dissapointed is that there is no parking avaiable and the staff was not helpful at all. I was left as a guest who reserved 6 rooms for 2 nights without possibilities to park our car. SO thank you YOU VERY MUCH for such a service. I have spend at least 2 hours to find parking, than next day the same, I have left car at the street 2-3 km far form the hotel and at the end paid the fees because when I have back in the morning to the car I was late by 20 minutes and police give me a fee. Grate - thanks a lot.
This hotel is more like a motel. The lobby furniture is stained and looks not well maintained. On a hot day, there was no AC in the lobby or the rooms! The rooms, though spacious, are extremely sparse, with barely the basics. The outlets in my room had exposed wires. The only good this hotel did was let me cancel my reservation without much fuss. For 8 euros more I checked out and went to a boutique hotel, in an even better location!
We came for our first trip to Belgium on a school holiday with the kids and had a great time. This is a centrally located spot, two blocks from the metro and several blocks from a cathedral as well as parks. There's also a small play area for kids in the lobby that includes a PlayStation (would be nice if the unit had the subscription for kids to play games instead of only demos), a few books, and a gizmo touch screen table that plays electronic games though it gets overwhelmed by lots of little fingers touching it at once. The burger bar is a great place to grab a bite or sit down for a chat after a day of site-seeing. Breakfast is a well stocked buffet with hot and cold food (though never did get the second chocolate milk we asked for one of the kids). On the subject of breakfast - we were told at checkin by the part time guy that breakfast was included. We believed him since it was after a 7 hour flight with two children. The second day I noticed a "excl" next to our name on the sign in sheet for breakfast so I went to the front desk to ask what was going on.She told me breakfast want included. So I explained the situation to a very nice woman who said she would check with the duty manager. I went back later and spoke with the duty manager who admitted the guy who checked us in was new but that they would still charge us for the two days we had eaten (I said we wouldn't eat the third). "But you ate," she kept insisting, ignoring that it was their error. This is the same person who said "I have no idea" when I asked if she knew what times the free orange shopping bus picked up - every 15 minutes from 2 blocks away 🙄.Needless to say, a great trip marred by a few careless people.
Came for F1 stayed sat- mon. We were early but concierge took bags and kept them until we got back at 11pm. Breakfast was self serve- fruit selection, yoghurt, cheeses, meats, pain au chocolate, croissants, selection of breads, toast, lots of different teas, coffee machines, jams, spreads etc, cooked breakfast of beans, bacon, cocktail sausages, mushrooms, scrambled and soft boiled eggs, juice machine and my favourite squeeze your own OJ as well. Very efficient service by all staff encountered. Room was fine; shower gel, soap and shampoo provided and a complimentary bottle of water in fridge, very appreciated on a hot weekend!!! The room needed a lick of paint and some bathroom fittings were falling off however pillows were soft, there was a powerful shower and separate toilet.Central location close to St Catherine's square, 2 mins from metro station with access to rest of rail links. V good glazed windows (we were on the road side and work was being done opposite) but did not disturb us too much. Used the pool, although very shallow and small, my daughter loved having a splash about. No real swimming opportunity, however for me. Steam room and gym in good condition.Towels provided in leisure area. Thanks for a memorable stay.
The hotel is very centrally located and easy to reach the city center. The room is clean, well maintained and very comfortable to use.We were at the hotel one night in August with two children. The room is not big but definitely enough, the shower is excellent and comfortable and there is enough room for storage.Breakfast is excellent and rich. The is small pool in the hotel but it was very crowded so we pass it, but there is also chilren place with games which the children enjoyed very much. There is no parking at the hotel and this is the only drawback. The nearest car parking is a 5-minute walk away and a parking day costs 14.90 euros.
