Great hotel, ideally located close to City Centre.

This is a wonderful hotel, well positioned close to the centre of Brussels. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the staff friendly and courteous. We felt very safe and secure. We used the bar each evening, and the barman was excellent & friendly. We dined in each evening, and the food/service/wines were all excellent. We'd stay here again.

Beutiful Hotel In a great Location

when my mother and I stayed just over a year ago as part of a globus tour we were very impressed with the stunning interior and how new everything was. The service was great and the staff were very pleasant. However I will say that we had an unexpected 'visitor' in our room that kept me up a little bit for the 2 night stay. I was wondering if there was a resident ghost lurking around the hotel and if the staff could please tell me if any other guests have experienced this 'visitor' as well and the history of the hotel or location. one of the freakiest experiences ever but not in a negative way.

Junior Suite to be or not to be

I booked a weekend stay for a birthday. I booked business class room but we accepted a free upgrade to a Junior Suite. Business Class room are located on the 6th floor but Junior Suites are located on the 4th floor. I would not pay for a Junior Suite rate as you get less for your money. Business Class room are located on the 6th floor with soft drinks and access to VIP area as complementary.

Ok Hotel

This is a decent, clean hotel that is fine for business. They have a very expensive restaurant which I did not try but the bar food was not great. The bar staff did not always get the order right and bought my colleague the wrong food so that we effectively had to eat separately.

hotel in fantastic location with poor service

pros: good location (5 minutes walking from Grand Place), modern design, sea-food restaurant with a michelin star, pretty good gym cons: low standard of service, to be more concrete, I will just leave here my opinion that I have sent to the front office manager of this hotel (however, I have not got any response)..."During check-in procedure a young lady from front desk had asked me about payment, so I told her to charge my card for 2 nights with taxes in advance and leave my credit line closed. Next day I ordered 2 bootles with water from restaurant (7 EUR in total) and paid for it by cash (I gave 10 EUR to waiter, his name was probably Christian). Christian received my money and told me that everything was settled (I didn't receive my copy of bill). However, during check out a bellman asked me to pay for room service, which was already paid by me one day before. For me it was really strange that I had to pay for water second time. I explained him the whole situation and, then, he let us go, wishing "bon voyage". You can not even imagine how shocked I was one week ago, when my card was charged for 7 EUR. I got confirmation from my bank two weeks after check-out. For me it is still unclear how front desk employees could charge my card remotely without my consent for room service, which was already paid. Just to remind you, my credit line was closed all the time during my stay in Brussels. I have tried to reach someone from front desk, who could help me with this problem, but all my efforts were in vain, because it seems that front desk team just ignore my letters (there were 3 of them: one was sent to and another to private mailbox of chef concierge Gregory, and the last one to the front office manager).
