Great place to relax!

We went to celebrate my son's 18th birthday and what a great choice we made. The staff is second to none, the property is beautiful with many dining options. This is our 3rd stay at the property and many of the staff remember us and our preferences from past visits. I would highly recommend them based on our terrific experience.

truly memorable stay

we are very loyal fairmont members and this stay just proves why! our extended family of 8 enjoyed the hotel over the thanksgiving holiday and had a truly amazing stay. even though the hotel was crowded, we really felt like we received individual attention from the staff. my husband and i enjoyed the gold floor, and enjoyed the extra perks with that! talk about EXCEPTIONAL staff on that level, too. every moment, from beginning to end, made for a wonderful family vacation that we will talk about for years to come. special thanks to Jojo at Windows on the Sound for being such an awesome waiter at our breakfast each morning!

Nice but expensive

The rooms and the whole place are very nice, the views are spectacular but everything is extremely expensive. Shuttle drivers are not too friendly, don't you dare to ask them anything. Not all restaurants open the same days, ask in advanced.

Great weekend stay celebrating a friend's birthday. Clean rooms and areas. Attentive, polite and helpful staff. Wifi Service needs some improvement. Family friendly. Overall a good stay. will stay here again.

We just returned from a week's stay at the Fairmont Southhampton. When it comes to service and ensuring a guest's expectations are met - they have it right.We had a wonderful time.Pros: - Beach Club is great. Great access to Horseshoe Bay.- Service/food is great. They will make any changes they can to accommodate each person.- We were overwhelmed by how happy and friendly every person was, especially at the hotel. (Even the taxi drivers, etc. though). Each person truly felt like they wanted to be there and enjoyed what they did. - We were faced towards the water overlooking the bay that the America's Cup practices were happening. From our balcony, we watched them practicing. So cool! If you are going before the Cup, ask for a higher room facing that way.- Everything was clean and very nice.- They serviced our room twice a day which was very nice.Cons:-You have to get dinner reservations early if they are busy or you won't have choices. In the off-season, there are already limited establishments open at the resort.- The kids pool is nice (up to age 5/6 maybe?). The slide has slippery mats leading up to cement stairs with no grips. This made me (and other parents nearby) nervous.- The indoor pool isn't open until 6:30 p.m. for the public. It is like bath water and so nice (though wasn't working for most of our stay). It seems in the slow season they should move the time up to go there to an earlier time since it's dark out at 5 p.m. and their spa isn't that busy then anyway. -Bermuda, in general, requires a taxi everywhere. It's not that close to any of the major attractions but also made doing Hamilton or the Dockyard easy because we were between the two. Don't miss:If you are there, go to the Jasmine lounge. Sit in Hazem's area - he will take care of you. Surresh, the manager, will also stop by and he is wonderful. Between the two of them, every experience there was flawless. (We also loved Chantelle (sp?), our housekeeper). If you have celiac's, they are very accommodating. At the same time, there was only so much I could have on each menu so with the limited amount of restaurants, I sorta had most things I could eat. They literally heated up oil though so I could have french fries.If you are dining with kids, or in general just with them, every person is kinder than the last. They really made traveling with our kiddo a wonderful experience.Have a great time!
