This hotel is downtown close to many restaurants and Robson street, easy commute around. Rooms are clean and wide. Great customer service at front desk. Ask for 20+ floor if you want to enjoy beautiful surroundings of the city.
We were recently at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Center attending a conference. The hotel was chosen by the conference organizers and not by us. Our room was in the South Tower and we had a junior suite on the 26th floor club level and use of the club lounge. The South Tower lobby is very unimposing and very small, of the 4 elevators only 3 worked causing a long queue of people out into the lobby. There is no restaurant or bar in this section only a Starbucks on the ground floor. You have to walk through a series of overpasses to get to the north tower if you want to have a meal in a restaurant or a drink in a bar. We phoned for room service and got no reply at all and had to call the front desk to place our order. The view from the suite was beautiful and the lounge very modern and offered breakfast from 6am to 10am soft drinks and water all day and hors d'oeuvres in the evening alcoholic beverages were an extra charge. The room was comfortable with a mini fridge (empty) and coffee and tea available. The problem we encountered was that our room was not cleaned towels not changed and bed unmade every day. We had to call down to the front desk every day of our stay to have that done sometimes not until 6pm. Every night a piece of paper was slipped under our door about making " a green choice" and offering $5 off food and drink in the hotel. We never asked for this and never used the coupon for $5. On the 3rd night when we called down again to have our room cleaned and the bed made we were told that we had signed up for this when we checked in, we absolutely did not neither then nor at any other time. To make matters worse one night at 9pm we got a call from the front desk saying that they did not have a credit card on file and to go down and provide one. The room was booked using a credit card and we were asked and gave a credit card and id at check in. To say we are disappointed is putting it mildly. We shall definitely complain to the conference organizers about this.
My co-worker and I recently stayed here for a conference but, to be honest, whenever me and my husband visit Vancouver this is our go-to hotel! We are never disappointed when we stay here. The beds are super comfortable. The staff are always helpful. We have everything we need. The location is perfect. Right downtown on Burrard and a walking distance to everything you need. I highly recommend this hotel without a doubt.
The Sheraton Wall Centre is a gem in Downtown Vancouver, BC. The staff are very friendly and the rooms have stunning views of the city and water. Close to all downtown activities! We were treated very well and the room was very cozy and accommodating. Gillian at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Say hi to her when you arrive. She is fantastic!
A 3 night final stop in our tour of BC. Excellent position for the hop on/off tours and easy walking distance to Canada Place and the major shopping areas.Quite an extensive building which we did not have the time to explore at all. Plenty of lifts so never too long to wait. Helpful desk staff.Beds very comfy with lots of pillows. We had a couple of rather uncomfortable chairs - very upright backs which did not have a lot of padding. The lack of a kettle was speedily rectified for which we were grateful.
