Great for downtown Vancouver

Overall a confortable hotel. My first time visiting a sheraton hotel up north. The rooms and beds were super comfortable. The location of the hotel is good if you need to be in downtown VC.I found the restaurant to be rather small and casually arranged. It felt like it was a temporary set up. They could improve this compared to the other sheratons i have visited in asia pacific. The club lounge was not as quiet as i liked. Quite busy with families etc. Which takes away from the business appeal.Otherwise a great hotel to stay!

Big Hotel In The Center Of Vancouver

This hotel occupies a large compound. It has two towers, the South and the North. Both towers are linked up. For the first timers to check in, it may be a bit confusing. For instant, you check in South Tower Reception, and your room is located in North Tower. Fortunately, the hotel has sufficient staffs to handle the short 'transfer'. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Environment is just great. The only short coming is that they do not provide a hot water boiler.

Large, spacious, gracious place

The room was large and comfortable, the beds delightful, the staff friendly and accommodating. I attended a conference here and felt very welcome. Meals were good. Several other guests arrived at the same time I did, and the reception staff processed us all quickly and in a friendly, professional manner.

Good location

As you would expect this is a big hotel with two towers. Arrived with others after a tour so had to wait to check in. Asked if we wanted to join the Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) We said yes if it ensured we got a good room. Not so!! - the room we were allocated was on 5th floor over a view of a flat roof full of rubbish and noise from extractors. Went back to reception and was given a room on 18th floor which was great. Noticed on this floor it had a plaque Starwood Preferred Guest. Why when we had agreed to join were we not given this in the first place? However the beds were very comfortable and the room was very nice indeed. Good location we walked everywhere and the Hop on Hop Off bus stop was right outside. The popular Yaletown restaurant area was about 10 minutes away.

Feels like home

We’ve been coming here for over 10 years and there are so many memories. It is very telling and remarkable how many staff have remained here during this time. Yet, the new staff have the same professional and welcoming demeanour. Mia Lammers in Reservations has been so helpful and friendly. Peter and everyone at the front desk are very polite and accommodating. Holmes and the other staff in the Club Lounge are excellent. Everyone makes our stay feel extra special. We cannot imagine staying anywhere else when we are in Vancouver.
