While spending a night in Costa Rica during a long connection, I elected to stay at one of the local hotels. I was recommended this one by a cab driver and sped off to the hotel which was close to the airport. The price was pretty high, but I was satisfied with the hotel. The room was spacious, carpeted, and clean with a modern design. The restaurant bar had great food; it was really delicious. The spa was also great, although a little expensive. All in all it was a pleasant experience, however, I will most likely look at some other options next time to see what else I can get for the same price. One important note--I had to pay for my own cab to get back to the airport, and there was no transportation service at the time when I arrived late at night.
We love it, nice and friendly staff, very helpful. Outdoor big swimming pool, nice gardens and terrace in all the rooms with beautiful sunset and sunrise view. Breakfast is in Deny's so is good and is in the hotel. Casino and a couple bars in the property, choice of tours around. Gym simple but gym, most hotels in check don't have gym at all.5 minuts by car from Savanah park which is nice park with lots of restaurants and cafes, drivers from hotel takes there and pick us up .I really recommend this hotel.I can't upload photos because this app is not working well, but look photos in the official Web of the hotel, no tricks, I'd exactly how it looks like.
Went to San Jose for the weekend with a group of 9 friends. The hotel was fantastic. Quick check-in. Great rooms. The pool and patio are gorgeous and unexpected in the middle of San Jose. We had drinks and apps at the lobby bar and the BEST breakfast in Denny's. I highly recommend.
I booked this hotel on the weekend due to the club....that has since been replaced by a bar. We left the Marriott......awesome hotel near the airport for this hotel that was a bit outdated and not so friendly staff. We arrived and were given tickets for two drinks, this seemed to annoy the bartender who was also the manager. We ordered one drink and could not get another due to the manager playing on her cell phone. We left and returned later. Even after making eye contact the girl did not come over to our table....once again picked up her cell phone and started texting. After a few minutes we went and asked why she did not come to our table when we knew she was aware.... her reply " ya, ya"...turned her back and walked away. On top of the terrible service the tables were coated with black volcanic dust, no attempt was made to wash these tables down even though there were only three occupied at the time. Sad....the property used to be fun but we will definitely switch to the Marriott and choose the Fiesta Casino as a place to have fun.
Picked this place solely because they had a national car rental office on site and easy access to Route 1 out of town! Wanted to avoid the extra airport rental cost, so came here. It worked as planned! No chairs on our patio. They have airport transpo only at certain hours. We did not use it as there was no service during our arrival.
