This place is excellent value for the money we paid. I'm a pretty picky eater and I was full every meal, every day. Very clean. The service was amazing! Even better when a tip was given. Not required though. But greatly appreciated. By the end of my 7 days I was giving hugs and high fives to most of the staff that I had the pleasure of dealing with. Block 7 is where you want to stay if you want to be close to everything. If you don't like stray cats, Don't go!IMPORTANT! DO NOT FLY CUBANA!!!!! Dirtiest and most unorganized airline I've ever had the displeasure of flying with. The jet was never cleaned.....EVER! No soap in the bathrooms.Garbage, chicken bones and boogers in the seat pockets in front of my row of seats. The only plus is they have a great baggage allowance. But it's filthy. Trust me.Hotel Tryp Cayo Coco though, Very clean. Thanks Tryp. Good times.
My husband and I got married at TRYP during our vacation and everything was run smoothly. Mirtha,Eduardo, Laidy, and Fidel (buffet) were amazing. Nuruys at the beach bar is an angel and we came back because of her compassion and love. There were 36 of us in total and we couldn't have asked for a better vacation
Friendly staff.Nice beach..Nice pool.Breakfast very good.Lunch and dinner pretty much the same every day.Lacks veriety. Rooms clean but very dated. We where invited to visit their new renovated rooms. They were very nice but i suspect it will take a while to do the whole resort. We were too early recommend end of May into June.Early may a lot of mosquitos and so so weather.Lots of animation all day.
We travelled there once again in March for the 7th year in a row. The people are very friendly and they will go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Love the beach, the rooms could use some updating but they are going to be starting on updating this summer for some of the rooms. We never spend time in our room so as long as it is clean we are happy. The food has always been good, no complaints from us as we plan on going back next year.
I travelled with my wife and 2 young children. We had been to this resort before many years ago and it was wonderful. Unfortunately the standards have dropped significantly. The customer service was horrible (except for the wait staff at the buffet). I should have realized this when checking in and reception didn't give anyone a wrist band - that something was wrong. The rooms were very run down and not maintained, and customer service acted like they couldn't care any less about you (or your kids). The entire property was quite run down and not clean , which was a big disappointment for us previous guests. It was as if they didn't have any resources - human or otherwise. And the guy spraying for mosquitos!!!!! You would be sitting in the lobby with a drink and he would stand next to you (with all his mask and gear on) and spray like you were a bug! This place definitely needs some RETRAINING in how to run a hotel and deal with guests. DO NOT waste your vacation time and hard earned $ on this resort - it was disastrous! We stayed 1 night and left the next day for another resort - Melia Jardines del Rey ( which was a wonderful place.)
