Memories at Miramar-Havana is amazing! I have been staying here for the past 5 years with my ministry team. The staff is incredible and always willing to help make everything just right. Nice pool

I did not stay in this hotel but only paid to use the pool. The fee to use hotel pool is $35CUP per person (adult) and children below 10 yrs old pay half price. We paid $87CUP but they give an amount to be used for drinks and food. We were given $57CUP to consume. The food and drinks were at a very reasonable price and the food was so good. After a fun day at the pool we took a taxi to central Havana where we were staying for $15CUP.

Mediocrity defined

A dull building with ordinary service. A 15 minute taxi ride to the city which mounts up and the pool area probably isn't sufficient compensation. Friends telling us how bad the food is in Cuba sufficiently lowered expectations to make the breakfast a pleasant surprise but the other food was uninspired such that we ate in the centre instead.

The Worst "4 star hotel" I've ever been

I think it has been the worst hotel I've ever stayed in my whole life. Although I didn't have high expectations when I booked the hotel, since it was relatively more economical compared to other hotels, such as Meliá, I didn't imagined what I was about to experience with this hotel. When we checked in, the lobby staff told us that there was a charge for the internet, so we bought an internet card. What they didn't tell us from the beginning, it was that the internet wasn't working in the hotel. We couldn't use it for the whole stay at the hotel, so we had to use the internet card in another hotel. The 3rd. floor of the hotel was like a scene from a terror movie: -Lights flicking, -Moldy carpets, -Stained walls, -No A/C. The door of my room was dirty and it creaked when it opened. We didn't have cable TV, no TV at all, just one sad pillow without any fluff, no bed cover and no hot water in the first room. We asked to be changed, and the second room didn't have cable TV, the mattress was hard as a plywood, no bed cover and no hot water. Finally the third room had some channels (because the other channels the signal was crappy), at least hot water, and a decent bed, but the bed sheets were dirty, the towels were stained, and we found a cockroach in the bathroom. We felt that no matter how many times we asked for a room change, some issue would appear.I don't know who gave them 4 stars, but where I come from (Panama), even a 2 star hotel can beat this one by far, and for a fraction of the price. I feel like I’ve been ripped off by this hotel. When I was checking out, they didn't even had a manager there attending these issues I'm writing right now, the staff just wrote it down in a piece of paper in which I’m sure it won't even get close to the hands of the manager. I would be ok if they promote themselves as a 2 star hotel, but to market it as a 4 star hotel is an insult for the tourist visiting Havana, and I'm really disappointed about it.I hope that this hotel, much sooner than later, will have a major change in its management and brand. And I hope it is for the best.

Good Hotel

The hotel is good but the rooms are a bit outdated. The breakfast was very good, a lot of variety. The services are good. The hotel is near the bus station far from airport. The swimming pool is good. The staff was really friendly.
