stay over night here was ok, room was clean and simpl. The breakfast was great and many option to eat, not busy this time with tourist.Swimming pool was ok to rest and chilling out, wifi working in reception area onlyand overpriced for one hour.the rest was ok
Stayed here for 4 nights. It was pretty basic accomodation and there is not much to do tourist wise in the vicinity. If we were to go back we would stay nearer old Havana. This would make it easy to wander around in the evening enjoying bars and music by walking rather than taxi.
This is a pretty basic hotel. Staff friendly and professional. The place is a celebration of concrete (in a good way). However, fixtures and fittings are looking a bit tired (my bed was broken). It has a strange relationship with the neighbouring more glamourous hotel. Sometimes they will change currency. Sometimes they will send you next door. Ditto with WIFI cards.Room service was inconsistent. It wasn't a terrible experience by any means but I wouldn't choose to go there again.
This hotel was great the breakfast buffet was very good and a nice surprise a good variety the room was clean the staffWas very nice I will go back my son rode his bike around old Havana it was a nice visit .
I stayed here for three weeks with others from my school during a study abroad trip. The beds weren't the most comfortable, and the air conditioner was spotty but we were able to open the windows for a breeze--and really, we weren't there to stay in the rooms anyways, so it didn't matter that much! The pool was very nice (I miss it!), and the food and drink prices at the bar were not unreasonable ($4-5 for a daiquiri, $7-10 for a meal). We were offered a free breakfast at the hotel which was different than what I'm used to being from the US, but it was still good (lots of fruit) and cuban coffee (either the espresso or cafe con leche) was DELICIOUS. Man I miss this country!! It was easy to get a taxi into Habana vieja from here (bonus if you speak spanish, we could usually talk the drivers down in price to $5-10 for a group of 4 or so), and it was within walking distance of a grocery store and being in Miramar, was also near the embassies! So if you're a traveler on a budget, or you're going to be in the city for awhile, or you're with a group and want to share a room, I would recommend this place! The rooms also came with a safe, which was a bonus too.
