Our Opinion
An OK resort situated within the Varadero strip. The rooms need a bit of maintenance and upgrading. However, they are cleaned and stocked daily. The food is nothing to rave about, but the resort offers plenty of choices. The resort is notable for having incredibly exceptional staff. If you have any concerns or needs, a resort team member will always be nearby to help accommodate your requests. Really great beach location. Be advised however, that bad weather conditions often lead to beach closures. Plenty of amenities available, such as a gym facility. This is an OK resort in Varadero. However, for the price you pay, it's best to go elsewhere.
Please note that hotel standards in Cuba tend to be lower than in other Sun Destinations. Unless travelers are familiar with the resort or Cuban hotels, we typically recommend that travelers book a minimum 4 star resort when traveling to Cuba.

Overview
A long time favorite of Canadians, Brisas del Caribe is set along a stunning stretch of white sand beach in fabulous Varadero. Included are a great kids' program, 24-hour lobby bar and 24-hour snack bar. The rooms in the south section of the hotel are great for families, with room for two adults and two kids. Brisas del Caribe is an excellent value beach-front hotel.

Location: Beachfront, 30 minutes from Juan Gualberto Gomez International Airport, 10 minutes to downtown Varadero.

This is a horror hotel - Do not go

We stayed in cuba for total two weeks and total 5 nights in Varadero.We spent 3 amazing nights in Hotel Naviti and went to Trinidad for the following two nights. After that my husband and i decided to end our Cuba trip by spending the last two night in a varadero all inclusive report and just relax. I saw Brissa and found it with ok review so we decided to give it a go. But it's really awful, we cannot find anything right in this hotel. Room is moldy and filthy. Bathtub is rusty and mirror with huge stain on it. Curtain and bed sheet also with stain. One door was missing from the wardrobe. Ceiling was about to be falling off and light as well. We were thinking ok, it's fine only if the food and drinks are ok. However, they were also terrible. I had sand in all the drinks I have ordered no matter it was ice coffee, hot coffee, or sparking water. The food area was also dirty. For lunch, they put all the food buffet outdoor and you can see all birds and flies also enjoyed food directly from the buffet plates. For dinner, they served BBQ pork but they were all raw. The dining area very dirty, and no staff there was willing to clean as least the table or chair for you. After the first horror day, we decided to check out one day early and asked for the refund for the day. But the service counter did whatever they can to ignore us. We requested to see their manager and everytime they replied he will come back in half hour but from 9am to 11Am and several time returned to the counter , we didn't see him at all. Service counter were not helping and no will to help us at all. In the end we decide to check out directly and shifted to our previous hotel Naviti. It was a right decision because we spent our last day in Cuba worryless. Anything, please avoid this hotel. It is terrilble.

complete relax total satisfection

We have been to this resort over 12 times and always came back satisfied and relaxed.This trip was even better than before.I give excellent rating because, Professional excellent services. Short walk to Beach, restaurant buffet or a la cart.Rooms were clean to the satisfection, Food was great buffet and a la carte. We love the beach it was clean and very well organized.Room was quite slept very well every night. Staff and workers very polite and friendly,they go extra mile to help out.For us it is 2nd home. We will go back in November with our family. We like to thank the staff and employees for making our trip very enjoyble.

i will talk about it with my friend and family... the staff dem were great... the room were very comfortable... the acitive were lot of fun... the food was good. i will surely returned here again the beach his very clean

Mixed review of experience

We recently stayed at Brisas and felt that the staff from the coffee bar to the cleaning staff were nice and friendly. The cleanliness of the room was below standard as the air conditioning did not work and the odor in the room was unbearable. We asked for a room change to the newer section and were told there was no availability, however those rooms were actually only about 30% full. The highlights were having two massages with Mayelin who was professional and conscientious. She went the extra mile during each massage. The beach was beautiful and water was some of the clearest throughout the Caribbean. The music and PA system at the pool was so loud that we had to walk far down the beach to get away from the noise. The Cuban music at night was awesome. Their prices are reasonable and a good value, but I would not return except to have coffee or a massage.

If you like sun sand and party this is the place!

Stayed April for a week and the entire staff ...the entire staff was always smiling and happy to help us. Get vip option for the wrist bands. You never wait in line for anything. Plus bring some toiletries and children's toys or coloring books or puzzles and you're in. Please remember the staff try to engage the clients by having activities at the beach at the pool and every night at the amphitheater and disco so try to participate. Don't be stiffs. DiDi and Bebe and Bonbon all put on a show. Great week! Be back soon . Los hermanos portuguese!
