HUGE Shout out to Ruth, Nick, Fayola, Louis, Rosa(Disney), gigi And Monique!!!!! They were all a fantastic help and asset to the Renaissance! Thanks for the laughs and special drinks during our stay! Everyone must try the wings, tenderloin, lobster, salmon and chicken nachos! The beds were Perfect! The Renaissance is an all inclusive however a suggestion may be to provide a bracelet system to make it a simpler process during meals and at the bar (little frustrating having to sign each time) The shops, the hotel, the village/town, watching the ships; were all Beautiful!
We stayed for a week. The staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful. The casino was decently large and very nice. Food was great...although they only have 2 restaurants to choose from. The beds were fantastic and comfortable! Unfortunately, they only have a limited choice of what drinks you can have on the all-inclusive package, half of the time we were there, they ran out of the allowable whiskeys and only had one choice of beer that we could have...they really need to work on doing a better job with their booze supplies or increase the selection to compensate for the lack of supplies. I was very happy to have gone there for a holiday and have no regrets, however, I wouldn’t rush back for a second visit...other all-inclusive resorts have certainly outdone this spot in comparison.
We had a wonderful experience. Shekina ( the navigator- concierge) was friendly,Knowledgeable, and went overboard to make our stay special......the infinity beachIs truly fabulous. If you like to watch the cruise ships come in and out from your balcony,If you love a good casino, if you want to walk to local restaurants, bars, the historic fort,If you enjoy exceptional service( the chef ordered in blueberries for me, which were served To me at breakfast) than this is your hotel in Curacoa......
What can I say.....This was my first time visiting this island and I absolutely fell in love with it...I even cried leaving lol. We stayed (family of 4) (2 adults, 2 kids) at the Renaissance and did the all inclusive package for 8 days and I've never had better service at ANY OTHER ISLAND/RESORT in my life, and we (my partner) have both traveled to many many different islands before. THE STAFF treated our family like gold. Anything we wanted or asked for, they would go above and beyond to help us. They always had smiles on their faces, polite and even laughed and joked around with us which was refreshing. The lady at the front desk (TIFFANY) was such a beautiful soul. From the moment we walked into the lobby, to the help throughout our stay, and our final farewell goodbyes at the end of our stay which consisted of hidden tears (behind my sunglasses) and massive hugs, this lady was always our "go-to". The level of service she provides is outta this world. Beautiful, educated, personable and great customer service WOW!!!THE BEACH BAR staff were incredible too. They were always making their rounds to ensure everyone was taken care of, food wise and drinks. Smiles from ear to ear and always there to help with any questions etc. We just fell in love with them all and honestly cant wait to return to see them again in the very near future.BEACH/POOL was always clean and fresh and I loved the man made beach because you didn't have to worry about sea creatures or seaweed CASINO/BAR staff were OUTSTANDING. The young man behind the bar always had our drinks ready from the moment he saw us enter the lobby bar. The ladies who served us our snacks and drinks (which were soooooo tasty) were extremely friendly and fast. So fun to speak with and helpful with giving us ideas on beaches for us to visit through our stay. MONIQUE was our lady....she made our stay special and I cant say enough about this woman. Hard working, friendly, helpful and she quickly made an impact on my families hearts. We adore her!!!!!ROOMS were big enough and very clean for our family. We had an ocean view room on the 2nd floor and got to see the cruise ships come and go...my kids loved that. We sipped on our Starbucks complimentary coffee on our balcony each morning while the kiddies slept in. Quality time with my partner watching the sun come up. CAR RENTAL AND BEACHES were a success. We just opted for the YARIS as we just needed to get from point A to point B. It was perfect and allowed for our family to drive to explore the beautiful island and other public beaches. Some of our favorites were BIG KNIP, CASA BOU, MAMBO, YAN THIEL and few others. The ocean is like a swimming pool and clear as anything. FOOD was 5 star here at the Renaissance. We ate a the breakfast buffet each morning and had fresh to order omelettes and fresh squeezed juice. Lunch we ate mostly on the beach/pool area and it was by far our fav. The menu is extensive and if you cant see it on the menu, they will try their best to make it. Always fresh and tasty.Dinner we had lobster and steak or pasta from the menu....my kids became obsessed lol. The man with all the buttons on his vest.....NOW THATS A GREAT MAN (I feel awful for forgetting his name but he was "grade A" for his service and personality)...we hugged I'm tight when we departed also.SHOPPING was a very, very short walk across a floating bridge that was lit up at night and was just beautiful. They have stores for everyone there and their prices were great. We enjoyed going over there to shop in mornings when it was cooler or at night when the sun went down. I never once felt pressure from any of the store staff at all.THIS RESORT/HOTEL WAS 100% A 5 STAR PLUS EXPERIENCE FOR OUR FAMILY AND WE ALL JUST CANT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT IT. PLEASE GIVE IT A TRY AND I PROMISE YOU THAT YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED ONE BIT.RENAISSANCE, WE LOVE YOULOVE FROM: THE LARKIN FAMILYThe resort was immaculate, the grounds were spectacular
My friend and I were trying to get a bowl of seafood soup which wasn't on the menu so we spoke with Werenline one of the servers who went out of her way to speak with one of the chef's Rich. She then said come back in a half hour and it'll be ready. The soup was delicious and the service over and above. They could have easily said that the soup wasn't on the menu but they went out of their way to do this for us. Thanks for helping make my stay a little more enjoyable.
