Bavaro Princess All Suites Resort
- What's Included
- All Inclusive Features
A good resort in Punta Cana. This place is more suited for families with children. However, there are some quiet spots around the resort, making it a suitable place for couples as well. It should be noted that unless you're a platinum member, there are some amenities that might be missing from your stay. However, this does not take away from your experience. This a must-go place for those looking for a perfect beach and incredibly spacious rooms.
Can't say enough about the staff at this place. Everyone was so accommodating and welcoming. Special mention to Ramon Perez, Jose de Jesus and Ambiorix Parra at the Platinum Beach. I could exclaim about so many others, but have limited time to write. The rooms were very clean...thank you Fatima. Had a massage at the spa. Wish I could remember the woman's name. She gave a fabulous massage. Every need was met. Food was okay, better than average for an all-inclusive. Not sure upgrading to Platinum is worth it. Except then I wouldn't have met the fun guys at the Platinum Beach Bar. The lobster dinner was terrible...my only complaint of the whole week. It was burnt and inedible. I may be biased about lobster seeing I come from Maine. Would recommend this place highly. Please take me back!
We went with a total of 7 people (3 couples, and one single). We did not have platinum, we didn't feel like we missed out on much.We had a wonderful time! The weather was beautiful and the beach was amazing! I've never seen (or felt) sand like that before. The pool was big, and we never had an issue finding a spot around it, or in it.This resort was beautiful! The grounds are very well maintained and you could walk barefoot around the resort without issue. The property is extensive, but luckily if you're not up for a walk, there is a regular tram that takes you around. We all stayed in the Bunglaow Suites, and what a great setup that is.. the rooms themselves were clean, although the bed was very hard - we slept well anyway. The food was ok - but this being my first time, I had nothing to compare it to. We enjoyed the italian and steak place the most.We enjoyed the nightlife, beach parties, and entertainment. The staff were friendly. There were timeshare people, and other sales people, but you can easily say no, and they will avoid you afterwards. Not that much of a bother really.Overall, it was a great week, adn we would definitely recommend this resort.
We had the best time at this resort. Take dollars rather than pesos if you go. I prefer to buy excursions from the guys on the beach and around the pool as you get a much better price. It was $65 with the rep to go on the buggies but we got it for $40 on the beach. The room was super clean! The staff there are all amazing. If you go for treatments at the spa buy them from a guy called Charles because he'll make sure everything is perfect. My favourite was the hot stone massage. Absolute heaven!
We have gone to the Bavaro Princess multiple times. We don't want to try anywhere else. The wait staff was always smiling and willing to do whatever is necessary to make sure your stay with them is the best. Special mentions; Ramon Munoz in the Lobby, Melvin the bartender @ pool, they made sure our glasses were never empty.Justin Beiber and Chocolate kept us entertained.
Traveled with husband, 19 year old daughter and daughter's friend over spring break with 2 rooms. Read about issues related to water pressure & temperature, hard beds, smells, topless sunbathing, beach sales and timeshares, issues with food, and bug bites. Water pressure and temperature were just fine even using the jacuzzi. Beds were hard but slept very well. Very minimal smells with the ecopark. Few topless sunbathers from time to time. Beach sales weren't an issue for us. They were there but not annoying at all and timeshare sales in lobby never approached us. Food was average compared to vacations in other countries. Plenty of options. Service was good but not overly friendly in most cases. We took bug spray but overall bites were very few. We booked direct with hotel and they were wonderful to work with. Check-in was very smooth. We booked up front with the platinum upgrade and felt it was the best decision for us and we were very pleased with the overall package and amenities. Rooms were very nice. Booked a speed boat and snorkeling tour from hotel and pleased with the trip. Booked an excursion to Monkey Land with another vendor in advance and very pleased with it as well. We walked just outside the hotel to shop and down the beach to another set of shops and never felt unsafe and enjoyed the experience. Hotel grounds are very well kept and beautiful. The beach is absolutely beautiful with no rocks or seaweed. One of the best beaches we've been to.
