Be Live Grand Punta Cana

Our OpinionThe BELIVE Grand Punta Cana is a solid resort for couples who are looking for a quiet and relaxing time in the Dominican Republic. The food items available are OK. Make sure to check out the Mexican, Gourmet, and Japanese a la cartes. Be sure to make reservations early in your stay. The beach is OK. While there are a few spots riddled with seaweed, there are more suitable spots a few minutes walk away. There are plenty of loungers available near the private beach area. However, make sure to reserve a spot early as it tends to get relatively busy throughout the day. OK entertainment during the day. The shows during the evening are a bit more entertaining. For those looking for a relaxing and quiet time in the Dominican Republic, this is a great choice.
We've been here 2 weeks and I loved every minute, delicious and various food, beautiful hotel with the nicest people I've ever met! Team Chiken Leg! ❤️ Minime, Speedy, Suleidy, Beautiful beach, I liked the different activities on the beach every day with the stuff and the animation team very very happy. On the pool very cool. The dance Pum Pum Pum is very very funny. For me, Number one is Chiken Leg. I come back for him, crazy man!
I was staying at the hotel with my parents. Decided to bring them over from Serbia and treat them with 'all inclusive' for the first time in their lives. We loved the place mostly because of the people working there and their personalities. How much happiness, smiles, singing, dancing, good hearts and friendliness concentrated at one small island. Yanibel, Luis David and Luis, as many others made our vacation exceptional. They would make my day with their smiles every morning. The service was excellent. I asked Yanibel to switch rooms and she took care of that right away. There was plenty of food for everyone's taste. The rooms were very clean. VIP is well worth it because of the privacy. Thank you all for making our vacation so fabulous!!! Love you all!
Beautiful Resort very clean, well cared for grounds and beach. Rooms kept immaculate. Food excellent and lots of variety. Most service was good. Some people hate their jobs and treat guests accordingly but many gracious hard working people who enjoy making guests feel welcome. Exceptional service from Sun Wing Rep Deyanira. As seniors with heart issues we were on top floor in Block 17 which was lovely but the elevator was out of order for a couple days and we had 8 flights of stairs to walk many times a day in the extreme heat. When we reported our concern the Rep quickly had us moved to the first floor into a very nice room. A butler came to move all our luggage down all those stairs. This really made our stay better and we appreciated that so much!!! Thank you!We would not return personally though because there was NO PRIVACY anywhere. We were bombarded constantly by pedlars on the beach so could not even walk along those beautiful white sands. If we were lucky enough to even find a lounge chair there were constant interruptions to buy excursions or again the pedlars selling all kinds of stuff. In the main area there are the most annoying men who never stop bothering people about their time share Lifestyles so you can't even walk around the resort privately.Personally we found Dominican just too hot and humid for our health. Its hard to breathe sometimes and there is a lot of walking along paths that have potholes. The large buffet was under renovation while we were there but the staff did an amazing job keeping guests well fed in the other restaurants on the resort. Not many workers could speak English and they tend to avoid serving us we found. Resort is geared for the younger folks for sure. Not many young families there. It did not seem to be very family oriented. Mainly would appeal to young couples in our opinion. We observed a lot of people smoking pot and on drugs while there also. VIP is not worth the extra money. Resort is across the road from the downtown. Be careful shopping outside the resort. The people are overpowering and grab you to shop in the market. Avoid it unless you are in a group. We went outside to buy a camera card which we could not get on the resort. Nice stores on the resort and the airport stores were awesome!
We came here to celebrate my daughter's birthday and we had an amazing two weeks at the resort! The lobby was open and welcoming and they assisted us right away. The room was very comfortable and spacious with two double (queen?) beds, the entertainment was spectacular every night, and there was always something fun to do at any given time of the day. Everyone worked hard to make sure we were happy and well taken care of. Mini Me, Chicken Legs, Sule, Cappuccino, and Speedy were awesome entertainers. Zapata was a great host at the shows and a great dancer. He danced with us several times during the live music hour. Bladimir, Saony, Randy, and Ambioux (manager/host? I don't know how to spell his name) in the restaurants provided amazing service! Caramelo at the activity center, and Ignacio and Jean in the lobby were sweethearts as well. Jonathan (entertainer?), was really sweet and always made sure my daughter was ok and that people were not bothering her. There were so many great places to eat at the resort. Make sure you make your reservations early so you don't have to eat the buffet your entire trip. There was lots of variety at the buffet though. There was always something good to eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. The live entertainment at dinner was amazing too! I love those guys! It was a great touch. :)Just a side note. There are people around trying to sell you stuff everywhere you go. Don't be afraid to say no, I'll think about it, give me a better price, no I don't want it or whatever the deal is. When I first arrived I was overwhelmed by this, but by the time I left I was a pro at saying no and just talking, laughing, and getting to know everyone lol. That's the only advice or heads up I can give you. The excursions are well worth it, so don't be afraid to venture away from the resort a bit. The resort is beautiful, the people are amazing, and the food is delicious. What more can I say? Enjoy your trip!Thank you for an amazing experience Be Live! I gave everyone a hug and kiss on the day we left and I actually cried on the way to the airport. I feel like I left my family behind. There are others I didn't name, but we love you all! They are all dear to our hearts and we can't wait to see them again soon. Con amor, Katrina. ❤️❤
The place was awesome. All of the people who are working in this hotel are fun and great for us. Food was good. Rooms were clear every day. I remember a lot of guys who are working here. Photoshop squad, Ramon joseph the butler and Alejandrothe butler from beautiful beds on the beach. They give us a lot of fun and good energy. When the hotel had a problem with something, they fix it very fast. We bought swimming with dolphins and parasailing from 2 guys. Noel and Johny, they are very nice too. My opinion about the hotel is very positive. Best time.
