Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana
- What's Included
- All Inclusive Features
This resort is quickly becoming a popular choice for travelers to Punta Cana. The Hard Rock Punta Cana is a large resort with over 1700 rooms and 9 pools! It also has a casino, disco, shopping and a ton of dining options. This resort is an excellent choice for couple, families and singles a like. A bit more expensive then some of the other resorts in the area, but well worth it!
Wow what an amazing 5 day experience I've had staying at this Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana! The food here is excellent, I highly recommend the Filet Mignon from Toro and for dessert the chocolate Volcanoe from Impenema is a must for anyone with a sweet tooth! The Rock Spa was the perfect place for me to recover from my jet lag as Jocelyn gave me a wonderful hollisitic massage. The beach here is beautiful with crystal blue water and every surfer's dream waves! One of the best aspects of our trip was having our assistants Lucas and Altagracia by our side every step of the way. From dining reservations, excursions and just general information about DR in general they had answer to anything and everything we needed. Ivan does an excellent job managing his staff and that was reflected through people like Lucas and Altagracia! My ONLY complaint is I didn't get to experience everything this resort has to offer!!! I would definitely come back and recommend this place to all my friends and family. ROCK ON!
Just got back from a week at the Hard Rock, Punta Cana ,with the family -- Teens to Srs. What a great experience....!!First the cons: - Experienced a lot of slippery areas (steps, pools, etc.). So tread lightly. - Saw a few negative reviews about food before we left: food was good to great, and service staff fantastic, but sometimes disjointed. We had a large group (10), and sometimes salads would be out 5 minutes before soups. Overall, every meal was fun, the food good (but not too exotic which was great for our group), and service staff friendly, but I can see why some people with less flexibility might complain.Pros: -- Lots to do (many, many pools), beach, excursions. Something for every age. Would have liked the pools to be open later than 7PM, but had plenty of time for sun and swimming. -- On checkin, we asked, and they indicated the hotel was near full, but we never had to fight for a beach chair, or room at a pool. Never waited more than 20min for a table at dinner, even at busy time. Beautiful grounds, that never felt crowded....-- Can't say enough about this one -- the service staff are the nicest people we've ever met. Helpful, friendly, cheerful. Even the guy stuck cleaning/scraping the walkways in blazing (95 deg) sun, stopped his work to say hi, and ask if everything was good with our stay. Nicest people we've ever been around. Hotel indoors were fun -- lots of bars, lots of finger food for people walking by...good shopping, Karaoke, Casino, etc. Lots of stuff for all ages.Overall -- best review I can give -- I would go back in a second.
We traveled to Punta Cana for a wedding and we had the best time. Juan went above and beyond to make our trip super special and really really appreciate it. He reserved the cabanas for us and really went above and beyond
Spent 5 days.. Our trip started out very rough.. It took over an hour to check in and this was suppose to be VIP. The AC in the room did not work.. After 2 trips to attempt to fix the AC we had to move rooms on day two. The rooms need fans ...Controlled temp on AC units and it is not comfortable sleeping. The beach is well kept and the property is beautiful. The food was good and shopping on property was nice. The people that worked there were not overly friendly or engaging.. much different than previous Mexico experience. Be prepared to walk a lot.. several elevators are turned off or not working. They do have a shuttle available throughout the property if there is room on it.
It's great! Food: was okay I can't say we had a favorite. Our go to place was The Market as it was located in the main part of the resort. Staff was friendly!! A+ for it. Make sure to bring change as they do expect a tip. We did have an AC issue but they came over in less than 10 minutes to fix. You must know that the balcony doors must be closed in order for the AC to work. The trolley: is very busy at night due to the activities and dinner so pack some patience as sometimes they come I full but they normally double up trolleys. Resort credits: they were nice to use for activities and the cost out of pocket wasn't too bad. We did have an issue with the resort credits as they were not applied to our account and I had to go twice to the main desk to talk to someone. I do have to say that souvenirs are pricey. Mosquitos: I called in advanced and learned that they do treatment on the property 3 times a week, they offer bug repellent but I still brought my own. I didn't experience any issues but they tend to come out when it's dark. That's when I say a few but thankfully no bites. I read some reviews about finding dead bugs but that's from the treatment they are doing for the mosquitos but it's mostly black flies. Overall: Great place! Loved the kid pool. Beach was beautiful. Food was okay definitely loved the mango and pineapple fruit! Staff was friendly and helpful! Resort credit okay. Worth every penny for all you get! Will try it there location in Cancun. Oh also you see weddings a lot!! ❤️
