Royal Suites Turquesa by Palladium

A pleasant resort to visit. This resort is suited more for couples and adults who are looking for a quiet and relaxing stay in Punta Cana. The beaches and pools are stunning. There is a particular side that is a bit quieter, making it perfect for guests who want a place to relax away from families. Plenty of a la carte restaurants to choose from. However, the service in these restaurants tend to be a bit slow. Make sure to come early to avoid long waits. There is also entertainment held nightly, so there is never a shortage of things to do.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Came for our 35th anniversary. Our Butler was Jose Torres and he was the best!! He made special arrangements for dinner and decorated our room beautifully. Wonderful visit.
Royal Suites are definitely worth the extra. Swim up room, was nice. You had to get to beach very early if you wanted a chaise. Food was OK. The Royal Gormet, part of Royal Suites, service and food has declined since last visit.
Spent 9 night in November at the Royal Suites Turquesa. We had outstanding service from the moment we got there. The room was beautiful, and definitely did not have any air-conditioning problems. I actually had to turn the air-conditioner off a few times. Water in the shower was nice and hot with amazing pressure. Slept well on an very comfy bed. Our taxi (we set up our own transportation) dropped us at the wrong lobby. Reception still got us 95% checked in, got our devices connected to wi-fi and then got a golf cart take us to the Royal Suites Lobby. We only needed to stop there and get our keys. The lobby was beautiful and I noticed during my stay that they were replacing sections of furniture. We were cutting through the lobby on return from the beach one day and discovered a nice small buffet set-up there. It was a pleasant snack, as it had started raining and we did not want to walk up to lunch in the rain. The beach was great. Lots of Tiki Huts if you didn't want too much sun exposure. Particularly enjoyed having drinks delivered to us on the beach. I usually go the pool after lunch. It was amazing. Great table/pool service and service at the bar. Delouris took great care of me during the afternoons. Had great service in the evenings at the bar also. Don't remember his name, as I was usually a bit tipsy by that point; lost of shots with some other guests we had met. They were great people who made sure I got back to the room safely.Primarily ate at the Royal Gourmet which has a buffet and an ala carte menu. There were plenty of options on the menu, but I primarily ate the buffet. Plenty of breakfast options and there was always seafood at lunch and dinner. I'm a big fan of shrimp, muscles and lobster tails. I must say the Italian restaurant wasn't great, but ate at the steak house twice; it was excellent. Had reservations for the Japanese, which we were told was awesome, but we were a bit too tired to go that night. **Thanks to our Butler for setting up all of our reservations, even having to make several phone calls to get us added on at the last minute with another couple. The no children aspect was a definite selling point. Can't wait to go back next year.
We had never been to Dominican Republic before and we loved it! The hotel was awesome. We had a junior suite in the Royal Suites part, which had an amazing jacuzzi bathtub, which we loved and a four poster bed, which we also loved. When we arrived, King Kong showed us around and helped us find our feet, really helpful guy.The grounds are amazing. They are beautiful and very well looked after by the friendly staff. If you are in the Royal suites, you have access to all the other parts of the hotel, as well as those bits that are exclusive for the Royal suites. We loved the beach (beautiful white sand, great water for swimming, lovely palm trees) and the adult pool, which is open till midnight. The booze and food is great. The service is great and weather was amazing. I came here stressed and tired from work and I am leaving nice and refreshed.
The Royal Suites in Turquesa is a wonderful spot! Whether you're here go a honeymoon, retreat, or just a time to getaway, highly suggest this resort! The staff, the room service, the beach, the all inclusiveness, it is all here! The people are extremely friendly and professional! Make sure to introduce yourself to King! He is the man to know here! Overall great experience!
