The Reserve at Paradisus Punta Cana Resort
- What's Included

The Reserve at the Punta Cana Resort is the perfect destination for both families and couples. The resort is amazing with its staff. They are incredibly attentive and ensure that you're getting the most out of your stay. The nightly shows that are held daily are pleasantly entertaining. The beach and pool area are gorgeous. Make sure that you check out the spot specifically meant for Reserve guests. There is a special spot for these guests, where there are plenty of loungers. Good options to choose from with regards to the buffet and a la carte food choices.
Great food , nice facilities and excellent grounds. Customer service could be improved. Rough start because if you have elderly family you have to call ahead to get a ground floor room as there is limited wheelchair access and NO ELEVATORS. This may be a big issue if the hotel is near capacity. We had some issues that were eventually resolved but many things took several attempts i.e. Three or four calls to get light bulbs changed etc. overall place get a B grade that could easily improved if the service improved
The grounds are beautiful and the staff was attentive but our jacuzzi didn't work and was never fixed even though they kept promising they would send someone to fix it. They were well aware of this because they fixed a bubble bath one night but no bubbles because it didn't work. They just left saying they would send someone. After trying for 3 days we finally gave up requesting that it be repaired. We were also sat down as soon as we got there and talked into an additional $300. Even after corresponding with them several times, I never did understand what we got for that.
Recently returned from The Reserve where my wife and I spent a wonderful week. The property is very large so prepare for some walking or utilize the tram system to get around. The Reserve is not on the beach, but you can walk to it or take the tram. But, recognize that it is not your typical beachside resort. The grounds are beautiful and very well-kept. We stayed in a Master Suite that overlooked the huge, main swimming pool, and was quite large and well-appointed. More than enough room for the two us. It was very clean and seemed relatively new. Restaurants and bars were all very good. You can find just about everything imaginable, from steaks and lobster to sushi. Reservations for dinner were necessary in several, but not all, of the restaurants. Each building has its own concierge who is stationed in the lobby. She, in our case, was available to answer our questions, provide us with advice, or to assist with making reservations for the on-site restaurants or activities. All resort personnel we interacted with were super friendly and courteous. Can't say enough positives about them. They were terrific!During our stay there were a large number of families with young children, elementary school age and younger, on the property. Frankly, I was a little surprised by that. The Reserve is clearly a "family friendly" resort. If you are looking for an " adults only" type of resort, The Reserve is not the place. Having said that, there were many, many couples, like the two of us, without children at the Reserve. We all seemed to be having a great time. Enjoyed two special evening shows--one, a performance of The Lion King and the other, a Michael Jackson musical tribute featuring a young man who must have been a Michael Jackson clone--great music and dancing. Would be hard for me to believe you could find a better all-inclusive resort in the Punta Cana area.
We were very happy to obtain a free upgrade to The Reserve. The resort is perfect for families and we enjoyed our stay. The staff is outstanding, we were well served by every staff Member, with special attetion from Mr. Wilson Guzman.
The service was overall very good, the rooms are very clean and bed was extremely comfortable which was my worried because I have back injury and I slept like a baby. The food at the buffet was exceptional too!
