The Reserve at Paradisus Punta Cana Resort

The Reserve at the Punta Cana Resort is the perfect destination for both families and couples. The resort is amazing with its staff. They are incredibly attentive and ensure that you're getting the most out of your stay. The nightly shows that are held daily are pleasantly entertaining. The beach and pool area are gorgeous. Make sure that you check out the spot specifically meant for Reserve guests. There is a special spot for these guests, where there are plenty of loungers. Good options to choose from with regards to the buffet and a la carte food choices.
The water is beautiful and the food was delicious. Amazing customer service, Raynold Activities,Sofia was a great family concierge, Luis was an awesome server and we had great yoga classes with Raynold Tamayo
Raynold Tamayo y Luis Santana were great. The drinks were delicious and the yoga by the ocean was beautiful and led by a pro. Sofia was also wonderful and took great care of the rooms, and made us a surprise bubble bath.
Raynold Tamayo was very helpful and attended us well. Paradise Punta Cana is a great hotel and is recommended to all. It's kid friendly but also is a perfect escape for couples. They are very friendly and make sure you have a great time while you are staying here.
On this trip the assistance is spectacular. Everyone does everything for you. During the time of my visit there were not many people my age (I am 21) but I made do. The restaurants are very tasty and very entertaining. I highly recommend excursions though because while the resort is fun and great it is good to do something other than swimming and and sitting at the beach.
We just came back from a week at this resort, we were 3 adults travelling alone, but we stayed in the family concierge section sharing a one bedroom suite. ( they did not have rooms is in the adult section).Hotel grounds are beautiful, food is really nice, the cocktails are great, and the service was spotless. The family concierge building are the furthest away from the beach, so you need to wait for a little train to take you to the beach (make sure you do not forget anything) because you then have to do the trip back-wand it can easily take you 20 min or more if the car-trains are not there both ways.In the end we got use to the scenery trip in the little trains daily, we had nothing else to do so no point in stressing about how far we were....although if you are adults only, the rooms in this section are the closest ones to the beach. The buffet and some restaurants were outdoor and you need to have a swimsuit cover or tshirt to go in, but the food is kept in an air conditioning room, so it all feels nice and fresh. We had access to most buffers as we were staying the the reserve section, and we had a nice separate section for family concierge with huge beds, and great service for cocktails and drinks. there is no food available to eat in the beach (maybe some crisps etc) so if you peckish bring some little nibbles from your mini bar , until lunch time.We had lunch mainly in Gabi beach, and also Mole (really nice) ,as they do lunch and dinner there. We had access also to the adult section with the Royal Service bracelet, and the restaurant is very nice Lapalapa, and the pool is small and private,., we preferred the pool in the Reserve, as it its huge, with lots and lots areas to lay down, bali beds-big beds-loungers, and the Grill restaurant next to the pool where you can get burgers-hotdogs-quesadillas-chips-and ice cream cones on TAP!The bar there is also bigger and seems to be always empty so no competing with other adults trying to get cocktails on the go all the time.it just had more of a chill out vibe. Our family concierge was Sandra, and she was always answering the phone to our endless questions, gracefully and patiently, and was very helpful throughout the whole week. We also had Sofia with us a few days and she was also great sorting our bookings, or any extra things we needed.Sandra organized for us a bubble bath with balloons (normally done for the kids) but why not? and made us feel extra special. The room service cleaner was also very nice and made sure we had everything we needed and brought up extra chocolates every night, extra towels or anything we needed.Esthephanni, was the manager of the Family Concierge in The Reserve, and she answered all my emails and questions before our arrival, and during, and she also met us one night in a restaurant to give us a nice, unexpected surprise, and that was very kind of her.Wifi was great anywhere in the hotel, our favourite restaurants were.Aqua(italian),Vento (you need to have the chocolate brownie dessert)-Teppenyaki- Mole and the buffets.we also had great room service in the last day because we were packing and did not have time to go for lunch downstairs. The one comment I would say, is that ideally as an Eco resort, all the hotel car -trains should be battery powered, not only are they more silent (especially if you want to sleep in the morning- but much more eco friendly).if you travel with children- do not forget anything in your room as it will take ages, but I am sure that if you have the Family Concierge Service they will sort it out for you.We popped by the kids club (as we all had families with small children back home), and it looked very spacious, with lost of things to do, with an indoor and outdoor section with a complete schedule of activities.-they have a smaller kids pool also next to the main one in the reserve, and they will bring you cookies and milk every night if you have children.Maybe in this respect, it would be good to update the TV's and channels i the room for when you kids need to take a break from the sun at midday....otherwise everything seems great. Thanks for everything, we had an amazing time!!!
