Adagio La Defense Esplanade
- What's Included
my last stay in this hotel was not good. Usually I book a studio but at this time I booked a room and I must say it is very minimal. Also I scored just arrived that the bathroom mirror was broken and the shower support was broken too. The next day they replaced the support but they put the mirror tape (dangerous). The breakfast is minimal, unpretentious but the person (only one) is very nice and helpful. The position is good, just near the Metro line 1 (Espanade de La Defense) not in the downtown but at La Defense.
Not bad place for business A little small bed for twin roomCleanA lack of housekeeping I checked in for tow nights and it was a comfortable room with a big sofa and little kitchen The bathroom separated "shower and towelettes "A middle place by the city and near the underground Maybe I'll go there again
This is without doubt the worst hotel experience of I have ever had. I paid a very high price for a room that was described as having 2 double beds and got two single beds. The decor of the room and the hotel in general was run-down, dark and dingy. The cistern dripped in my toilet and the entrance to the hotel sometimes works by card but more often not. This is a really depressing place to stay.It is clearly a badly run hotel where there is no care and attention given to the environment or the comfort of the guests.Added to that the staff are slovenly, slow and don't do what they say they are going to do. I try to resolve the issue about being switched to a room with a double bed. They said that they would get back to me on this. They never did. They said that they would make the 2 single beds one bed by using a double sheet in the worst case scenario. They never did.On another note Hotels.com as the booking agent were equally awful. They said they were going respond to the issue that what they had sold me was not as described in 24hrs. They did not.
We stopped in Paris for one night on a business trip. All we had was the address in an email. We got to the area with the address but even after bothering many local folks took over an hour to find it and we were ever more than 100 meters from it. Take the hint from others use map locations to get to the Sofitel, they share the same building. At first I thought we had made a big mistake, main entrance door was locked. Then after buzzing very helpful employee came down to meet us and arranged everything. The rooms are very Aparthotel, meaning not fancy but spacious and comfortable. A few European annoyances, shower barely let out water, bathroom was rather small. If I came back with my family would consider it. Could easily sleep 4 or more comfortably.
First, there was the fact that the rooms are cleaned once weekly... They don't remove the trash they don't wash the dishes..! Second, some of the staff are terrible they have communication issues they never respond in time they don't even give u a wake up call in the time u request them..Third, the housekeeping took my baby's towel by mistake and we figured this out on the same day and told the receptionist and have been enquiring about it daily until finally on the last day one told me " it's not our mistake it's the housekeeping mistake please leave ur address and if we find it we will send it to you in Egypt ( ps the haven't found it for the past 10 days and they probably lost them...)Forth,The Ac is simply not working the rooms are too hot and unbearable to spend the night inFifth, the wifi after midnight stops working ..!!Sixth, the water was cut for a whole night...!Seventh, there is no parking and for those of u planning on a visit with a car it will cost u around 30€ per night around hereSeriously don't go there...
