Our pre-paid reservation was either lost, given away or ignored. When we arrived we were told that the reservation could not be found. When I produced a print out of the confirmation showing it had been pre-paid we were given a smaller room to wait in until things could be sorted out. They called us back to the lobby an hour later where the manager did apologize and gave us an upgraded room with a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower. The room was quite large and basically equipped but a little dusty. But again, the view made up for any of that. Daytime front desk staff is very friendly if not effective but evening desk staff is awful. Polite enough but ineffective, slow and pretty much useless. Simple requests or questions were met with a shrug or an "I don't know.". The breakfast room was rather small for such a large hotel and therefore very crowded. If you are looking for a full service facility, this is not it. Halfway through the week I went to the front desk to ask for additional towels for our room and was told I would have to pay 1.50E for each one. Adagio would do well to make this a full service hotel with regular maid service, room service and more amenities. As it is right now it is basically rentable apartments with no amenities. Since we spent very little time in the room anyway it didn't matter much but I did miss the service of a hotel atmosphere.
Myself and my partner stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in March. We were greeted by the receptionist Lilian who was very welcoming and explained everything about staying in the hotel. The 'room' was a small apartment overlooking the river, we had a kitchenette complete with hob, dishwasher, fridge with freezer section (important for stock piling ice cream!) and microwave all with full sets of cutlery and plates. We had a few meals here, the food was sourced from the conveniently located super market just around the corner which was stocked with all you could need for even a prolonged stay in Paris. The beds were twin beds but where situated close together so the gap was unnoticeable. The apartment was very clean, I had read a few reviews before booking and found some people had some comments about the cleanliness of the rooms I found no such issue. The hotel has a luggage room with individual lockers big enough to fit a full size suitcase that requires a 50 cents to use and there are no pick up times people are free to come and collect their luggage at any time which we found very useful as our check out time and fly time were hours apart. In terms of location the hotel is fantastically located a mere 10 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower and an even less 5 minute walk to the tube station Bir - Hakiem which has lines that connect you to all the main tourist places in Paris including RER line C. Can't fault this hotel at all, don't know if we were lucky with neighbors or if the walls are actual walls but we found our room nice and quiet. I few other reviewers were perturbed by the extra cleaning charge should you want your room cleaned daily and we stayed for 5 days and did not require this service so I can only assume the other travelers were used to other hotels offering this service, I for one did not think it necessary. All in all a wonderful stay, wonderful staff and brilliant location. Reasonably priced too!
The location was great, a 15 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower. The check-in process was quick and the staff was polite and spoke English. The room, however, was bare-bones, oddly layed-out and in need of decoration and renovation, particularly the bathrooms. One gets the feeling the place had just been abandoned by a student resident. The room had a separate bedroom with 2 single beds and a pull-out couch in the living room. It was convenient that the room had a kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave and stovetop, especially with the prices in Paris. There are grocery stores nearby. There was a nice TV with channels available in several languages. The breakfast "service", which ran from 7am-10:30, was a complete disaster. They have a much too small area to service the entire building, providing only a few proper tables and a few tiny end tables at which to eat. They had run out of plates, bread and seating when we arrived at 9:45. The coffee machine malfunctioned. The breakfast staff did not speak English, making basic communication with tourists impossible.
Between 27 and 31 March 2017,me and my family have enjoyed an amazing trip to Paris. We have chosen this hotel because we were lucky to find a great discount here.We payed 405€ for 4 nights which was awesome. The hotel is great. We had an appartament on the 14th floor with a stunning view of the Tour Eiffel.Everything was perfect. The hotel has a GREAT LOCATION,10 minutes walk to the Tour Eiffel and 5 min walk to the metro station Charles Michel. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, with a lot of shops and restaurants. You can buy a lot of things from the supermarket and can prepare your own meal in the room,as you have there all you may need. The appartament was very clean, which I appreciate a lot.The WiFi connection was very good. The STAFF was very helpful, kind and friendly. They made our check in very fast and they helped us immediatly,as we had a little problem with the toilet. They gave us another room and I want to say again "thank you".I recommend this place to all the tourists who want quality at resonable prices.Congratulations Adagio Paris Tour Eiffel and thank you very much for our pleasent stay there.Deffinitely we will come back.
We didn't arrive until around 11pm, but the staff were welcoming, and checked us in quickly. Of course, you have to pay the city tax when you arrive, but this was something we knew before traveling. Our room was spacious for two people, modern and very upkept. The TV was large, flat-screen, with a good choice of channels, but who watches TV lots on holiday? The bathroom was modern, and the shower kept temperature well and remained a constant and decent power throughout, which made showering quicker- they do only provide one large and one small towel per person, but you can request more if needed. The kitchenette was small, but everything worked well, the only downside was that the lighting was poor, making it difficult in the evenings to do anything. The closet space was large compared to some hotels I've stayed in, and the safe was free and easy to use! The sofa bed wasn't memory foam, but it was easily slept on and not ridiculously uncomfortable; it was definitely what you paid for. The best thing about the room, was our view of the effiel tower, but of course this was luck, as I didn't request anything when I booked (room 2302). I cannot comment on the room cleaning services as they are once a week, or you have to pay for them throughout the stay, breakfast which was €12 per person per day, and the swimming pool as we used none of these facilities. Overall, the hotel was perfect and definitely what we paid for- a great location, modern, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
