Always wanted to go to Paris (well who doesn't?) Our hotel room was just the right fit for two person with mini kitchen (we didn't use it much but it helps whenever you suddenly awake at 2 am and feel hungry). Breakfast is my favorite - fresh fruits, fresh juices, multiple choices of cheese and patisseries. We didn't opt for room with the Eiffel Tower view, and did not regret it at all. I am not willing to spend an amount of money just to see the tower everyday, every time anyway. But if you do have an extra to splurge and want to have that romantic holiday, probably you should.Me, hmm I rather spend it at Galeries Lafayette. Haha!
We stayed here as a family in July. Location to the Eiffel Tower is great! Probably a 10 minute walk! Rooms however are not the greatest. When we first arrived, the room was were allocated had a broken bed (the trundle and we needed this to sleep 4 in the room). After saying something to reception we were given a new room which was good. Cleanliness isn't the best but considering we only slept in the room, its was good.
We splurged on a more expensive room to have the Tower view - and the view was great - panoramic as advertised. The apartment itself, however, was just ok. Cleanliness was adequate (don't look under the couch), there's a good amount of space, and the kitchen equipment is reasonable. However, there is no housekeeping, amenities are reduced to a bare minimum, and if you want to visit the (tiny) pool, be aware there are no pool towels. Reception staff did their best, and I was impressed with the number of languagues available. However, their booking system didn't seem to be helping them - arriving exhausted from an overnight flight, we hoped for an early check in. No luck, but it seemed to be more because their room availability system wasn't working, not because there weren't rooms. We were able to leave our luggage, but we had to take it ourselves to an upstairs storage area. Even at the official check-in time, it took them quite awhile to get us our keys - when we had already been sitting in the lounge area for almost 2 hours. In the meantime, a line was building up behind us. Staff were helpful about finding services in the neighbourhood. The shared areas are much too warm, and their ambience is pretty much what you would expect from a university residence. Elevators are cramped. One thing that would help them would be a second floor exit, to let customers out onto the 2nd-level walkway that is much more pleasant than street level. For an apartment hotel in the heart of Paris, this place is fairly reasonably priced - but for a minimum investment, the managers could make it a much more pleasant place to stay.
Just returned from a short break in Paris and very happy with the apartment we stayed in, its a 15 minute walk to the Eiffel tower and a short walk to the Metro so very convenient. We had the standard apartment which included hob, fridge, dishwasher, crockery and cutlery etc which helped us to cut the cost of eating in Paris which can be very expensive. There is a supermarket five minutes away which stocks a good variety of fresh foods and other produce at reasonable prices. The apartment was a little tired in placed but clean with clean linen and towels, a big bonus was a bath as well as a shower with loads of piping hot water, it also had a safe so we could leave the valuables and a wide screen TV but it only plays news channels so that could be improved. The staff are lovely and really helpful but don't all speak English although a more fluent speaker will step in if you can't get the answer you want, there is always security on the door which made us ladies feel safer.Overall, I'm very happy with the price I paid.
Highly recommend them ! Great costumer service, nice room with all facilities you need. Hotel is located in great spot- close to Eiffel Tower , shops , metro, train station. Definitely would come back again.
