We went to Europe for our honeymoon and decided to stay at the Du Cadran Hotel. Hotel had a perfect location to visit the main tourist destinations at Paris. Near by restaurants were perfect and affordable. In conclusion, a very nice hotel to experience Paris at its full.
Nice hotel -- very modern -- convenient to transportation (Metro) and reasonably priced restaurants, especially along the Rue Cler. The Cafe du Marche right next door is great for breakfast when many other places are still opening. Also it's just a short walk to either the Eiffel Tower or Les Invalides.
My husband and I stayed at Cadran Colors (Hotel du Cadran Annex) for 9 nights in November for our honeymoon. Neither of us have been to Europe and we were on a budget. I spent lots of time looking at hotels online prior to our trip. We wanted a nice hotel in a prime location that included breakfast, but most importantly was budget friendly. Hotel du Cadran fit in the bill! The staff was super friendly and spoke English fluently (which was not necessary as we are in France but was very nice). We arrived an hour before check in and they held our luggage until check in time. The location is wonderful. 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and nicely located by many excellent cafes. The room was cleaned spotless for us everyday. The room is small, but that is standard for Europe and you aren't going to Paris to hang out in the room. I was worried the size of the room would get to us after 9 days, but it was totally fine! The included breakfast was important to us due to budget, and Hotel du Cadrans breakfast did not disappoint. Since we booked directly at the hotel website with an extended stay breakfast was included every day.The breakfast was a delicious FULL breakfast, not a rinky dink donut and coffee. Scrambled and hard boiled eggs, baguettes, cheeses, meats, yogurt, espresso, cereal. Stuff that really fills you up. We would eat a large breakfast in the morning and it would hold us over until dinner; absolutely great for us budget conscious people :)I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Paris! The only reason I am giving this hotel four instead of five stars is it isn't a "five star hotel" in that someone who is looking for butler service, large rooms, you aren't going to get that. But a simple hotel with everything you could need at a great price!
we stayed here for 2 nights and it was an enjoyable stay, great location , friendly staff and comfortable room although the room was alittle bit small but. it was ok. the price was very reasonable compared to paris prices .
When in Paris, stay in Hotel Du Cadran for its great location and warm hospitality. Location wise, it is located near a lot of restaurants and shops so you don't really have to go far to experience good food. It is also in Rue Cler so you get to explore this famous street market. Our room was also in the 5th floor so we could see the tip of the Eiffel Tower from our window. The Eiffel, by the way, is just a 3-minute walk from the hotel. Nice thing about the hotel neighborhood is that it's not overcrowded like the rest of Paris. Another thing I would like to commend about this hotel is the friendly demeanor of the receptionists. When my husband and I arrived, the receptionist on duty that time readily gave us information on how to get to famous landmarks in Paris. She even escorted us to our room. On the side, the rooms, though quite small, are very clean with contemporary interiors. Overall, I can say that Hotel Du Cadran contributed greatly in making our stay in Paris even more memorable.
