We spent 4 nights in the this apart'hotel close to one of our favorite neighbourhood of Paris: Le Marais. We had one of the apartment with one room and a kitchen on the last floor. The apartment was very clean. The bed (and the pillows) was very comfortable. The kitchen is mall but well equipped with a small dish machine.Cleaning was not included (except at the en of our stay). 2 possible improvements:- Decoration of the apartment would make it more cozy (the lobby of the hotel is well decorated)- Bed for baby. We unfortunately discovered that there is no mattress provided with the bed (a shame!). We would have appreciated to no it before!!!
The perfect mixture between a business atmosphere with some comfortable extras that made the stay more pleasant, like the very friendly staff members and the nice decoration of the lobby. The rooms were perfectly neat and silent and the breakfast buffet was awesome with a big range of different flavours.
I stayed at this property twice during the month of August 2016. The first stay was for a week and the 2nd for a night and this was the ideal location from which to explore Paris. Hotel checkin staff were very friendly and offered us lots of advice on touring throughout Paris and the best way to get from one landmark to another. Hotel is situated right in the middle of 2 Metro stations which makes it very easy to get around. There are lots of restaurants and bars within a 5 min walk as well as Place de la Bastille. You also right near the Hop on Hop off bus stop if you chosse to do this tour.Around the corner from the hotel there is a supermarket that offers a great variety of offerings if you choose to stock your apartment. There were 3 of us and we had a 1 bedroom apartment. In the bedroom we had 2 x single beds and in the lounge room there was a sofa that folded out to a double bed. The apartment was very spacious and had more than enough room for 3 adults, all our cases plus the EXCESS shopping that we did. We also had a balcony that comfortably seated us all and had a great view over Boulevard Richard Lenoir.Breakfast was basic but there was something for everyone and provided us with enough to take on our busy days in Paris. Whilst we were there the lobby was being renovated and the breakfast room was relocated -this was not an issue and staff did their best to make us feel comfortable. There is also a laundry on site that is available for guests at a nominal fee.I loved the location of this property and the accessabilty to transport and landmarks such as Le Lourve which we walked to.It is secure and well lit of an evening which was reassuring as we were 3 females travelling.I would definately stay here again whenI return to Paris and would recommend this hotel.Thank you for a great stay.
Very pleasant journey with my daughter, the studio was perfect for a week-end.Nice location, rooms clean and good level of service. The only thing that might be improved is the quality of the breakfast.
My daughter and I stayed for six nights in a lovely, street facing, one bedroom apartment. Firstly, the Citadine's location near the Bastille on Avenue Richard Lenoir is wonderful. There is a Metro station close by, shops, cafes, restaurants, cash machines and a good local market to explore across the road a couple of days a week. We found our apartment to be very clean with friendly, helpful staff and it had everything we needed. Because we stayed six nights, we were able to have the room serviced at the half-way point which was great. We walked everywhere from this particular Citadine, even to the Louvre! This was a lovely straightforward, easy walk along Rue Saint Antione directly to the Louvre. And it's only about a twenty minute walk from the apartment along the Seine to Notre Dame. One thing we loved was its proximity to the handy open-topped, hop-on hop-off bus which has a stop at the Bastille only a few minutes walk from the apartment. We bought a two day pass and it took us everywhere around the city. We found this to be a great orientation and value for money. The Citadine is also located on the border of the Marais which is a wonderful area of Paris to stroll through. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay at the Citadine, had no problems whatsoever, loved the location and would highly recommend.
