We stayed on the hotel for 5 nights while in Paris. One night we had to call the front desk sometime after 1:00 AM to tell them a women was screaming an either furniture (or someone) was being thrown around. It went on for at least 10 minutes when we decided we needed to call to have someone check on her safety. Never heard another thing about it.At the end of our stay, my husband accidentally left several new pieces of clothing hanging in the closet.I called that afternoon within hours of our checkout time.I was told the room was already being occupied by new guests and that the cleaners were gone, there was no one to talk to at the site.I emailed an employee, called again to follow up and was told they would try to track down the cleaner to ask what happened to them.No one called me back or bothered to do the inquiring because when I showed up to see if the clothes were found after checking out, there was no information and the on duty staff had to call the manager.Manager finally emailed me after leaving the city for USA, said there was nothing found.I know this was our error, but the fact that NO attempt to track down items, communicate with hired help or offer to replace items leaves me very discontented.
I had this stay planned by a travel agent, so after booking I checked out the webpage. I expected to see what I saw online. The apartment was clean, but things had definitely been used, like mold in the shower. The staff wasn't very friendly or helpful. We asked for a restaurant suggestion, the restaurant across the street was said to accommodate. Almost all of the patrons sitting outside were smoking and the waiter didn't know much English to help "accommodate" us. The area is not family friendly. Looking out our window was a cemetery and Moulin Rouge is around the corner. So to go very far you had to pass "sex toy" shops. It was difficult for one of our taxis to even get us to the apartment, due to traffic on the connecting road. The most bothersome issues were the absence of any AIR-CONDITIONING in 30 degrees Celsius weather, and the €16 breakfast that basically included hard boiled eggs, toast, and yogurt. We asked for another fan since we were using both rooms to sleep our family and we were refused.
We loved this apartment /hotel...spacious with excellent facilities which included dishwasher in the very well equipped kitchen. Bed was very comfortable & room also had a window which could be opened for fresh air. Bathroom was generous in size & had a great shower over bath & very good lighting. There is a bright & stylish breakfast room (breakfast is extra charge) which had a 24/7 coffee machine which we appreciated. Reception staff helpful & obliging. Location is in a quiet dead end street & within an easy short walk to Blanche Metro Station. Moulin Rouge literally around the corner. We found this hotel ideal for our short stay in Paris.
This is possibly the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. At first I thought I heard, literally, a bomb. It was a hallway door slamming. Constantly. The whole building is made out of concrete and everything is amplified. The staff just offer a Gallic shrug and explain that people don't know how to close doors properly. Of course, guests let the doors close on their own and they slam shut. You can actually feel the vibration.Do not stay in his hotel. Also, they don't offer daily cleaning, breakfast is terrible.
This property is located in a great place to visit and/or work in Paris. IN a quiet residential street, it's just minutes away from a bustling area of restaurants, bars etc. The Metro stops are also nearby as are world famous Moulin Rouge, Montmartre.Unfortunately, there is no air-conditioning in the rooms, not even forced ventilation, so that on a hot day - or a hot period - even having the windows open at night does nothing: it's just HOT and unpleasant. That's a real pity for what could be a really nice place
