The hotel is located directly across the street from a Paris metro (subway) stop. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. The staff is friendly and the hotel is very clean. While not close to most attractions, the tour eiffel is about a fifteen minute walk away. The top floors do have rooms with a view of the tower but they come with a higher price. We had a lower floor, (no view) I would recommend you take a room facing away from the street to minimize the noise from the elevated trainsA nice place to stay.
Really enjoyed my stay at Citadines Tour Eiffel Paris, staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean, well appointed and well equipped. They also have laundry facilities on site. The site was close to a Metro station and this enabled me to access visits to lots of Paris attractions.
Rooms in Paris, in general, lack space for a family of three or four so we were glad to find the Citadines which was a 1 bedroom suite. The "view" of the Eiffel tower is just the top third but was nice to see it light up at night. It is a 10 minute walk to the tower but is easy and on main roads - easy for touring the area on foot and the small kitchenette was good when traveling with little kids for fridge and microwave. The shower is in a half enclosed glass, so the entire bathroom gets soaked as there is no door to the shower stall. Seems short sighted..... And, when I asked for more towels (in English) the receptionist shrugged as if she didn't understand and didn't attempt to find any English speaker to help so I translated "I need an extra towel please" to French in Google Translate but she still said she didn't understand. So, we dealt with a wet shower floor the entire time. I should have known they weren't the most service oriented when the reservations agent wouldn't make an exception and remove one of the nights of my reservation due to a time zone mixup coming from the US saying the fare was nonrefundable but I arrived with a bad taste in my mouth already knowing I would be staying there for so many nights and they couldn't make an exception for one night. Not like I was trying to cancel the entire stay, just a small fraction of it but would still be a hotel guest. Regardless, Because of this, we did not book Citadines in the other cities we are visiting these few months. (We're in Singapore now, going to Hong Kong next and then to Bangkok, Australia, Bali, Tokyo and others these next few months) The front desk staff wasn't the most pleasant and made it seem as though they were doing me a HUGE favor by even giving me a room key. No eye contact, no smile, no welcome, no help, no bell boy. No questions answered and you could tell they just wanted to be left alone - guests are such a burden! And once housekeeping leaves at 4pm don't expect to get any extra anything. No pillows, blankets, etc. However, the coffee and tea in the lobby was a nice touch and the location in Paris is nice - central and great for touring. Just don't go expecting them to accomodate any requests or questions. I've seen managers reply on other reviews with things such as "We hope to welcome you again in the future, giving us another opportunity to serve you better" but would ask them to skip this nonsense as my hard earned money would never go towards the Citadines brand again. They should have looked out to helping me the first, second or third attempt of mine from reservation to check in to check out if they really believed in service. Any words given now are just worthless.
This hotel was in a great location for touring the city. The staff were very accommodating and the room was well appointed with a kitchenette that was stocked nicely with glass/tablewear etc.. including mini dishwasher. Location was at Grenelle Metro - easy access to all areas of Paris city centre, great pubs and shops including grocery and wine store within 5 minute walk from hotel. Amazing view of Eiffel Tower from room. Highly recommend. Great for couples and/or families.
A great little gem tucked away in the heart of the city. From the outside it doesnt look like much but when you enter it is s great escape from the hustle & bustle off the city. Good location 10minute walk from the Eiffel Tour and also located right outside the train station for an easy commute around the city.We had a phenomenal view from our room. Modern rooms and free coffee & hot chocolate. The staff made this visit extremely special, i mafe some request's before arrival and they exceeded all expections. When we return to Paris we will certainly be staying here again. Highly recommend.
