I stayed here several nights and the first night when I arrived they asked if I wanted to be moved one night to a nearby hotel and they would help with the luggage and that I should come back for breakfast here. All worked out fine and I moved into my nice room with their help. At this hotel in room 102 that night I had to sleep with earplugs in, the sound from moving chairs, phone calls and general though modest noice came through the walls like they were made of paper. I left for 2 nights and returned to the hotel for one night and I am at hotel waiting for bus to airport. I was asked to pay 10 euros for breakfast, seems only this one night was booked with no breakfast. A little cafe would have been my choice if anyone had told me that breakfast was not included after several night that it was included. .hotel has lift which is small but great. As I said in the title great shower in my room 102.Near Metro, and buses. Very handy.
Located near Place Pigalle and close to bus line number 30 that takes you to Garu Du Nord, Arc of Triumph and Eiffel Tower as well as line 67 that goes to Louvre. Helpful staff. Unfortunately, terrible air conditioning - very loud. We had to sleep without it and it was very hot in the room. Good WiFi. Low budget breakfast, we did not like it that much. All in all, not bad for the price we paid but next time I am happy to pay more for better quality, especially with proper air conditioning.
Extremely helpful staff, gave us info about the area and transport when we arrived and were very friendly. Rooms look like they've been recently decorated, are a good size and nicely presented. Bed was comfy, great shower and the balcony was a nice surprise. Thin walls made it a bit noisy in the mornings but that's no different from anywhere else. Great location close to metro and Montmartre area. Nice places to eat and drink no more than a street away.
I stay with my family, bed Was comfy, we didnt have bkfst there. Location is good a 2 Blocks from metro at night time is not so nice to walk around.staff is nice and helpful. Bad thing elevator but is ok
My wife and I booked into the Grand Hotel de Turin for four nights, while we were staying in Paris. Pros:+ Great location, easily accessible from Pigalle, easy to walk towards Opera/Bourse area and the Sacre-Coeur/Montmatre, easy to access from Gard du Nord.+ Very clean+ Friendly staff+ LiftCons:- Very functional 3-star experience - no luxuries, no lounge area, vending machine for drinks/snacks, no AC - all fair enough for 3-star, but left a lot to be desired.- Charges for safety deposit box- Charges for wifi- Very small lift- Need to ring for porter if arriving after midnight.- Close to red-light districtAfter looking at many places in Paris within our budget for four nights, we opted for the Grand Hotel de Turin at about £50 a night. This is very reasonable for a 3-star hotel, particularly in Paris. The hotel is an easy walk, just 15 minutes, from Gard du Nord, perfect when arriving by Eurostar. We arrived about 19:30, and easily found the hotel with minimal directions. Within 15 minutes again we were at the Sacre Coeur, so the hotel is well pointed. Outside the hotel has the same kerb appeal as any Parisien street, with charming stories of uniform windows, but without anything to make the hotel stand out. Inside the hotel reception is much smaller than it appears in the pictures online, but the welcome was warm and we were quickly checked in. Be aware that you need to pay a city tax of Eu13 on arrival too. There is a lift to all floors, however me, my wife and our 2 suitcases were a real squeeze. The room is actually really charming, with a Paris skyline drawing on the wall above the double bed. Everything was spotless. The room was small. Looking at the evacuation notice, there are larger rooms in the hotel, and the tariff notice indicated that superior rooms attract a higher charge, but our room at the back of the hotel was very much on the boutique size, and I wouldn't want to spend more than the four nights we spent there. Inside the room there was space to unpack and hang clothes, and the bathroom was again spotlessly clean, but there was no bathtub. The double windows in the room and bathroom both opened fully, so it was possible to get a nice breeze through the room, but in somewhere so small privacy is difficult. Although the rooms don't have an iron by default, they do have hairdryers, which my wife appreciated. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hotel de Paris, but I would say it qualifies as 3 stars by default, and certainly doesn't offer anything in terms of facilities and luxury that any other budget hotel doesn't offer. The hotel was very clean though, and the housekeepers were well worth the tip we left them in the room on departure.
