Good location, near Rome metro station; Moulin Rouge and Sacre Couer in walking distance.Helpful and nice staff; free coffee, cocktails, candy. Buuut.... I know the rooms in Paris are small but they should be easier to clean, right? The best description of the room would be unkept... very dusty, the bathroom was full of mould everywhere: on the floor, on the ceiling, near the bathtub, near the sink... everywhere. The sheets and the towels were clean but when we touched the curtains from the window a cloud of dust came out and filled the room which isnt very healthy for anybody. The overall impression was lack of thorough cleaning, which is a pity because everything else was good.
This hotel was a great find. VERY CLOSE to Rome metro station and in a decent neighbourhood. Lots of lovely restaurants and cafes in the surrounding area and an easy walk to Sacre Coeur and other attractions. Room was basic but clean and modern, and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. And although we didn't take advantage - we really liked the idea that using your room key you can access the other hotels in this chain across the city to use their toilets, wi-fi, chargers, coffee facilities etc - a great idea that more places should do!A few down points for us were from our room on the 1st floor you could clearly hear the trains/metro rumbling past this didn't bother us but it was noticeable and also the advertised 'cocktail hour' was a bottle of cheap, pre-mixed cocktail out on a table for guests to help themselves which caused quite a bit of disappoint among ourselves and other guests! Overall would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
Stayed here for a weekend at the beginning of September and could not have been happier. The hotel is in an ideal location, close to many attractions with the metro a short walk away for any further attractions. Staff were so friendly and helpful from the very start - Lucas booked us in on a very favourable rate of €108pps sharing for 2 nights B&B over the weekend. The room was a tad small but was perfect for the amount of time we were in it, we had a blacony which even had a view of the Eiffel Tower! Breakfast is plentiful and worth having included as part of your stay, there is also a complimentary Nespresso machine guests can use throughout their stay plus a complementary happy cocktail hour (unfortunately we did not get to avail of this option but I'm sure it was perfect!). Staff were super friendly and informative with any questions we had- directions places to go etc! I must say the highlight was especially the staff as they could not have been more helpful from booking stage to our check out on Sunday. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel to everyone!
I stayed for 4 nights while on business. I loved the location - it's within walking distance to Paris Saint-Lazare station, as well as in the middle of 2 metro stations (Rome + Europe), making getting anywhere in Paris a breeze. The hotel is located in a wonderfully quiet area, so even though I slept with the windows wide open, there was no noise. The were a few negative aspects, though:1) I reported that the tv in my room was not working, and they did not fix it in all the time I was there. 2) This meant that I had to make do with a very unstable and bad wifi connection to keep me connected to the world, which was frustrating as I had skype meetings that were painful.3) The hotel specifically states that rooms are air conditioned and, indeed, the regulator was there and working, but despite it being on max cold power, the room was impossibly hot and stuffy, meaning I had to resort to leaving the windows open 24/7. It felt like more of a fan circulating ambient air rather than a proper A/C. Not such a big deal in the colder months, but a definite problem during the sweltering heat of the summer.Despite everything, I would totally go back, as the location, quiet, good breakfast and friendly staff trumped the downsides for me. If these little things could be given some attention, the hotel would be, for me, just absolutely perfect.
We found this hotel through a package deal, and were afraid it would be in a bad neighbourhood; not at all! 15 minutes from the Opera house, close to a million cafes and brasseries, really friendly receptionists and comfy bed! The only issue was a leak in the bathroom lavatory, but nothing bad at all. Would definitely recommend :)
