I Guess You Get What You Pay For

We were drawn in by the price, but a bit disappointed by several things--our window leaked water, so there was an unfortunate mildew smell in our small, double room that dogged us the entire visit. Our safe was broken, the refrigerator never truly cooled off, the AC wasn't sufficient, the elevator was an oven, both the hot water in the shower and the wifi were spotty, and the "unlimited" coffee didn't actually include the good cappucino in the basement breakfast room--it was limited to the subpar espresso machine in the hotel lobby. They were also skimpy with the water bottles--they were supposed to put 2 in our fridge each day, but we actually had to go downstairs to request them, and they didn't always have them. So, yeah, we got a good price, but a good value? Not so much.

Great hotel, ideal for city break.

Stayed 3 nights and liked the informal atmosphere of the hotel. Reception staff very helpful. Very handy for Rome Metro at the end of the road. Good supermarket on the corner of Rue De Moscou. Room was small but clean and tidy with a useful fridge for beer and water ! Free room safe. At the back of the hotel the view was not great but nice sunset from balcony. Breakfast was a little cramped downstairs but food was sufficient. We were told we could use the facilities at other Happy Hotels in the city but we did not make it to them. Free refreshments in bar including wine in the evening. Would recommend this for location and friendliness.

City Break

My fiancée and I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights during a city break earlier this week. It really was everything we were looking for. It was affordable and in an excellent location near the Rome metro station. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the room was clean and very well sized. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I had the best nights sleep I've had in ages, although that may have been down to lots of city walking! If you are looking for a city break in Paris then I'd thoroughly recommend this hotel.
