Hotel Cervantes Paris
- What's Included
My fiancé and I stayed here for 3 nights in February. When we arrived the staff were very welcoming. The rooms are small, the bathrooms are minute, however the shower worked beautiful and for a short stay in Paris, it really didn't bother us too much about the size of the room or bathroom. The rooms are cleaned everyday and we were fortunate to get fresh clean towels everyday.Breakfast was always good. There was a good selection of a normal continental breakfast, which was constantly being topped up so there was always enough. The bed was comfy, although I wasn't a fan of the flat lumpy cotton wool like pillows. The hotel is located in the perfect part of Paris. Just outside of all the hustle and bustle, but a 10-15min walk to the beautiful area of Montmatre and further up to the amazing Sacre Coeur. Rome metro station is literally a 5min walk from the hotel, and via the metro, we saw the whole of Paris. Navigating the metro was easy enough the hotel staff were always helpful in directing us and there was always people in the stations to direct us to the right line. Overall this hotel was ideal for seeing paris just for a few days. We would definitely consider staying here again.
The staff at Hotel Cervantes were very helpful, all spoke English and couldn't do enough for us. We checked out in the morning but our flight was not until 9 o'clock, they kept our luggage safe, we were able to sit in their comfy lounge after a day exploring and a member of staff made us coffee. The transfer from the hotel only costs 18 euros each and was worth it not to have to carry luggage on and off trains. The rooms were small and adequate as we were only showering and sleeping there but did have tea/coffee making facilities which is rare. We had a room only basis but the reception staff told us that breakfast was included. It consisted of cereals, some hot food, croissants and jams etc. fruit juices and tea and coffee. Very central and we walked to the Sacre Coeure , Montmarte, Eiffel Tower, Arch de Triomphe (both over seventy but fit). There are lots of restaurants a short walk away. Staff again helpful for advice on the best way to get to places, we used the metro on the final day for our visit to the Louvre and they pointed us to the correct metro line and station. Buy a book of tickets for the metro as it is cheaper, we did not use all of ours so gave the rest to the staff.
Small pleasant hotel in great location within easy access of a number of metro stations. The staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival. A great thing about the HappyCulture Hotels is that you can visit all of the hotels in the group and use their facilities, this includes the fact that they have a range of free events at various hotels across Paris; cocktails, wine and cheese, pop up specials. This made our short stay in Paris even more interesting. Definitely worth popping into a few whilst you are wandering around the city. Only concerning point was that although the bedroom at our hotel was a good size however we had booked a twin room but were given a nice room with an Super King bed and a fold out bed. When we queried this we were told that the hotel had not twin rooms. (Not their fault but this should have been made clear on the booking site).
Got this hotel with Eurostar tickets for a 2 day , one night stay in Paris. On arrival reception staff very friendly and advised that bfast was an extra 12 euros PP ( which I was aware of ) shown where to get bfast and the bar area for complementary tea and coffee. Lift to all floors Room was small with no view except a brick wall but not an issue as staying in the room only to sleepHad tea and coffee making and mini bar , TV English channels. Clean room but needs some repairs and painting. Located near 2 metro stations only a few stops from main attractions.
It was the worst hotel i have been to! The staff treated us very bad because we were muslims! They were rude to us! They gave us first a room in the basement that was very dirty, the floor and the bed was dirty! The reception was fighting with us because we wanted to change the room and after giving us a room with double bed to three people plus a mattress to sleep on the floor they offered us "BREAKFAST "! The breakfast room was a tiny room also in the basement with i think 5 tables ! The fruit salad was old! It didn't have so many stuff to eat only the coffee machine was ok! I won't recommend this place to anyone! It is also very far from sightseeing places! If i could give negative as rating i would!
