Hotel De Roubaix
- What's Included
we had a long trip during heavy rain to reach out the place. the room wasn't too big, opposite to comfortable bed. bathroom with shower, sufficient sapce around. nice variety of breakfast meals on early morning we didn't need anything special, did care more abut the price and the hotel fullfillled our requirements. do not expect anything significant, but it is totally acceptable.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is one of the best I think. Close to the center without it being too touristic. I really like the area and found the price for the hotel good in regard to what I got. The service was great! I felt so welcome and at home. Clean rooms and confortable beds. I definitely recommend!
If you're looking for something fancy, this is not for you. The reason I am giving this place a high rating because of location, great service, and cleanliness. This hotel is easily accessible to Reamur-Sebastopol and Arts et Metiers station. If you have any questions, Christopher will be there to help. He is very accommodating and fluent in English. I had to leave at 5:00 AM for my last day so I needed a cab very early. All I had to do was request through the reception, Christopher, a day before my departure. The cab was on time to take me to the airport the next day. This is a great place to stay in Paris, if you want to focus on the essentials and would rather spend your main budget on food and attractions. If you're looking for frilly, showy, or fancy hotel, don't come here to give this nice hotel horrible ratings. They're very kind and don't deserve any bad reviews.
We stayed here for 3 nights! Price was reasonable easily located with just 5 minute walk from nearest metro! 15 minute walk to notre dame, and an hours walk to both the Eiffel Tower and arc de triomph! Metro stations were also around within walking distance but we preferred to walk over all as the weather was so nice! There was a supermarket 5 minute walk away called g20, so we brought fresh bread and ham each day and made our own lunch! You can have breakfast at the hotel but we decided not to. The hotel room was very small, their wasn't anywhere other then the floor to put out little case but the bed was so comfy it had a fan, hairdryer, extra pillows and a safe all in the room, a flat screen tv was also provided! We had an en suite and although again small it had fresh towels daily, body wash dispenser in the shower and was all we needed! We had patio doors which was great to let some air in but we didn't have a view! The room was quirky in French tiles and posters all over the walls! But for 3 nights away and for just sleeping it was perfect! The hotelStaff were friendly and spoke great English! Considering we are in the centre of Paris and their are bars and restaurants as soon as you walk out of the hotel it was amazing! Well worth your money! Don't pay any attention to the bad reviews! If you don't mind small but comfy and a bit quirky this place is fantastic for the price! I would stay again
This hotel is conveniently located close to eateries and is within walking distance of metro stops. The room does not have centralized air-conditioning but they provided us with the fan. I would recommend this hotel for young couples and for singles visiting Paris. This type of hotel might become too cramped for families with young children and those with lots of suitcases. Christopher and Charles at the front desk were very personable and were always helpful. We were immediately offered coffee or tea upon our arrival and we were delighted that our room was ready even though we ended up arriving prior to their 4 PM check-in time. The decor is eclectic and whimsical. It was a cute hotel for a short stay.
