We stayed in a double room for 04 nights... Our first night the room didn't have a view but after talking to the receptionist he moved us to a city view... The room was really tight but adequate. The bathroom was even smaller :) but everything worked perfectly specially the shower. The decoration was ridiculously fun...There was no AC but the room was not that hot and there was a fan.. The breakfast was really good value for the money( there were like juice, hot beverages, bread, nuetella, cereal, boiled eggs, toast, honey, cheese, yogurt)...The staff were amazingly helpful and fun to talk to and gave us a lot of tips... The hotel is fresh and modern specially the dinning room <3... The reception offers help 24 hrs.. Also, there is nearby supermarkets and the hotel can be accessed by 02 metro stations (art et metiers station and Réaumur - Sébastopol station)
I stayed here for four nights, in a double room in September. The room wasn't that big but adequate, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The ensuite bathroom was small but again adequate and the shower was really good, powerful and the heat quickly and easily adjustable. The only thing I would say is that you could hear the shower from the floor directly above, but it wasn't that loud. The breakfast was great value at eight euros, especially for Paris. the options were as follows: (as far as i remember)Juices, apple and Orangecroissantsbreadlots of jams and honeycerealtea /chocolate / coffees from a vending machine- not as good as freshly made in a shop but ok. Apple saucePlain Yoghurts. There aren't any hot food options such as bacon, eggs etc. You can make toast though. The place is quite quirky, with unusual lights, painting designs etc.The staff are friendly and will help you wherever possible. There are also games in the breakfast room and you can play them whenever you wishThe reception is manned 24hrs, which is handy. You leave your key with reception when you go out, so less likely to lose the thing. :)The hotel feels safe as does the surrounding area. By metro you can get into the 'heart' of Paris in around 15 minutes.
Good things about this hotel was the location and breakfast, also the service was pretty good. Otherwise the hotel was really outdated, the room was kind of weird and I was really shocked to see mice in the breakfast room.
We had a great stay at the hotel. The ambience is quirky, fun, but also very safe. It truly felt like a safe haven in all ways. There was someone at the front desk always with a smile, and a genuine concern for your day. The breakfast was above your usual continental, very fresh and plentiful. The hotel is kept very clean, and you can tell there is proud ownership and the staff care about the place. Their advice for restaurants were spot on, and directions were great. The most important I think is their patience and willing to help with our confusing french. Rooms were ok size wise, but how much time do you spend in there anyways? Bathrooms were large and showers had lots of hot water. Definitely would recommend a stay here, and will be back. We miss it already . Salute!
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff are really lovely and welcoming. The decor is quirky and fun. The bed was comfortable. Super close to the tube station and an easy walk to the Louvre and Notre Dame. The only negative for us was that there was no air-conditioning although the hotel did provide us with a fan (it was 36 degrees on our first day in Paris!). Otherwise, very good value for money.
