Hotel Magenta Paris
- What's Included
I stayed more than 3 weeks at Magenta 38 for a business trip. Each contact with staff, whether by email, or at the counter, has always been both very professional and very friendly. My room, overlooking the backyard, was very quiet. The atmosphere of the rooms and the lobby is contemporary and welcoming.Magenta 38 is an excellent combination of fair price, good location and very good level of service - with a smile.
Despite the weather in European in February, I had wonderful a four day weekend in Paris, and this I'll happily stay here again. This hotel is within a stones throw distance for the nearest metro station, and getting around a city like Paris, for many that's about the only option available.A little bit more of a walk down the street past the metro station no more than approximately 5-10 minutes extra, is more than enough choice of restaurants and bars for spending the evenings, if you haven't already found somewhere. Make sure you're up bright and early for breakfast, located on the bottom floor, the breakfast room is extremely busy, so don't turn up too late! The staff at this hotel are extremely helpful with any request you may have, no problems at all with them, and will also happily offer tourist advice Highly recommended
My friend and myself surprised our friend with a trip to Paris for her 30th and picked this hotel for its close proximity to the Gare du Nord. I had asked for a quiet room and were given one facing away from the street, it was however right outside the lift so there was a lot of disruption during the night. Upon checking in we noticed there was no towels in the room and tried to call to reception however the phone in the room didn't work. The next morning we spoke to reception who were able to move us to a room that was in a quieter location however that room also did not have any towels so once again had to request them from reception. The new room had a sofa bed which we were not aware of and we had to unfold ourselves. This was in a separate area from the main bedroom meaning we weren't all together. Just a few minor niggles, otherwise a very enjoyable stay.
MAGENTA 38 is a very thoughtfull hotel with very efficient everything, very comfortable and many little extras! The staff is turelly easy going and hard working girls and guys and the only people I met in France in 30 years of continuously travelling there, that speak ALL the languages PERFECTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had a Premium Triple Room hence a lot of space, and calm and queiteness even thjough on the main street, large windows, light during the day, good heating, nice bathroom! Breakfast was French and very fresh and good! I certainy wish this hotel will remain upretentious next year too...Loved it! Thank you guys!
My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks in September and absolutely loved it. We initially had a few issues with the room that were quickly resolved as the staff was always eager to assist. My French is quite poor (I tried but my pronunciation is terrible!) but all the staff we dealt with spoke English which was lovely. As some reviews noted, the room is quite small however the room size is clearly outlined on their website and we had no issues with the size. In in-room mini fridge was a nice touch and we used it frequently for cheese and wine. We had a small balcony which was lovely as we used it frequently to stand on and enjoy an evening glass of wine with a view. The evening beer tasting is a fun event and allowed us to meet and converse with other guests. Breakfast was always plentiful with an offering of: meats, eggs, cheese, breads, cereal, yogurts, jams, coffee, juice etc. This hotel is also located very close to a metro station and various grocery stores and brasseries. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be back if we ever make it to Paris again!
