Great fun

I spend about a week in Paris and I always have a good time. I often stay at the Regina due to its location and atmosphere. The rooms are a bit small so I upgrade to the suits with balcony's. It's a great place to get lost and laugh in this great hotel.

Loved this hotel, so perfect for kids

Really loved this hotel for a family holidaythe best partsVery family friendly : so much space in the adjoining family rooms, lovely attitude towards children (which can be rare in France!), and nice touches (like childrens toiletries and bathrobes). its an adult hotel which is welcoming to well behaved children (its not a noisy family hotel where kids dominate)The Location: straight across the road from the Louvre and the Tuileries. Within a few blocks were plenty of restaurants, shopping, cafes. It was so nice to just step outside to these stunning spaces.Very stylish rooms, great beds, good bathrooms, lots of space, lovely view of the Eiffel Tower (In the distance), lovely architectural details throughout the hotel. very charming. Despite our room balcony opening out onto busy street, the room was very quiet. The concierge secured us tickets to the Euro football matches (which were hard to find) and gave us good advice on what to do on a rainy day in Paris with kids.We only used the restaurant for breakfast, and it was lovely. Service was slightly patchy, but the food was excellent with a broad rangeThe doorman / porter was brilliantly helpful when a taxi driver tried to charge us 4 times the quoted rate. He told him off in no uncertain terms, and sent him on his way. When a local taxi driver tries to con you, it can flavour the whole stay, and make you feel a bit ripped off. The hotel were so helpful and positive, the immediate feeling was that we were being looked after, and that Paris is welcoming to touristsI will definitely stay here again (and would do so without children too)

Well located and great place to stay.

We loved everything about the Hotel Regina. The location, the period features both internally and externally and the room was a decent size and clean. Staff friendly, helpful and polite and food good.We will stay there again.

Wonderful view from the Eiffel suite, hotel needs a little updating

We stayed at Hotel Regina for four nights in an Eiffel Suite. The views of the Eiffel Tower are spectacular especially the sunsets. Our room was large and comfortable although the bathroom could use some updating. Overall we enjoyed our stay although you cannot open your french doors to enjoy the views because of the noise of the very busy intersection below. Concierge is very very helpful and we enjoyed our time in Paris very much. It is a new location for us, we usually stay on the left bank but we are happy to have tried this area.
