Our Opinion
A great choice for its quiet location, lovely park with vineyards and trails, and lots to do in the area. Next to the sports dome and library with 2 Metro lines nearby. Beautiful outdoor seating with flowers and gazebo. They offer connecting rooms and handicap rooms.
Overview
Part of the Accor chain, the Ibis Styles Paris Bercy is located in the new area of Bercy. Each room has been been renovated, the decor is modern and the reception area, spacious. Its typically Parisian restaurant, Le Bouchon, is both lovely and affordable. In the summer, a large terrace offers an ideal place to rest and relax. The vast public garden at the back of the hotel opens up to Bercy village, the new trendy area of the old 'Halle aux vins'. The Cours Saint Emilion, a pedestrian street surrounded by famous boutiques, is perfect for strolling. Various cinemas are also located here. The subway is a few meters away and the 14 line will take you, in just a few minutes, to Chatelet-les-Halles, the Madeleine and Place de la Concorde. You will also find some charming and affordable restaurants nearby.

Location: 12th district. Marais, Les Halles, Gare de Lyon.
Subway: Bercy

Functional except for wifi

Room adequately sized although storage is very limited. Bed big and comfortable, shower good, air-conditioning insufficien9t. Style functional but austere over bed table is a nice idea but does not fully compensate for lack of work surface or seating.Breakfast is a voyage of discovery as the buffet is spread out all over. I would have liked to see a little more charcuterie, but cereals, breads and jams were aplenty as were fresh juices.I would say hotel is well situated and fine for a short tourist stay, but less suitable for a longer business stay as working in the room is not really practical. There are plenty of workplaces in the public area though.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in

I arrived at 9.30pm last Saturday night having arrived on the train from Nice. The reception sent me to the wrong room first off so dragged all my luggage back downstairs to the reception to find only green tea on the free till 10pm drink trolley - or I was asked to pay over 3 euros for a black teabag on the bar - ripoff. I got to the room unpacked and went to bed - Got up the next morning to the dirtiest bathroom, black mould that you wouldn't believe all over the shower, a plug socket that was broken next to the bed. When I challenged the reception the duty manager he offered me some points as a recompense after seeing the pictures, the comment about the tea was thats all they provide. The staff at breakfast were in a huddle talking, no good mornings or asking if I could find everything I needed - this hotel is dirty, old, and poorly run with a staff that don't care about its customers.

Weird hotel, very expensive

Near Saint Emilion, is a hotel with great facilities for business travelers. Excellent space, perfect for a business stay. For the price of the stay, they should improve the quality of the breakfast, the service and the organization at check-in and check-out; very confuse and short-staffed. Staff is professional and helpful for business stays, that works perfectly. Close to Mall, trade offers, easy access to the Metro that places us anywhere in the city or even, for access to the airport. Is a good choice for business, very expensive for leisure travel, although aligned with the average prices.

Pleasantly surprised

This hotel is relatively handy from Charles De Gaulle airport, you take the RER B to Chatelet Les Halles and then the metro line 14 to Bercy. The hotel is a couple of minutes walk from Bercy metro and all major sights are easily accessible from here. The local are is nice as well with a park nearby and beautiful views of the Seine from a nearby bridge. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.Having read some reviews prior to going, we were worried about the quality of the hotel, however we were pleasantly surprised. The room looked as though it had been recently redecorated, with a quirky theme. The bed was very comfortable, however, we were only given one pillow each and one spare which meant that one of us had to sleep with only one pillow. The air conditioning worked perfectly which was appreciated as it was very hot during our stay. The wifi was very quick. The tv only had one English speaking channel. The bathroom was an average size. We were given shower gel/soap however both were nearly empty and never got topped up or replaced. The shower head did not stay in position so made showering awkward. There was a lot of grime around the rim of the toilet which was unsightly. There were plenty of towels that were replaced daily. Breakfast ran from 7 - 10 am and was a continental style breakfast. There was a wide variety of choice including a choice of cereal, bread selection, cheeses, ham, yoghurt, juices, hot drinks, fruit, croissants and conserves. While we were a little disappointed that there was no hot food, we were expecting it. There is entertainment every Thursday out the back of the hotel in the Papa Cabane. The music is quite loud but only runs until 11 pm so didn't affect us much. However, if you're wanting to go to sleep early I'd suggest getting a room on the other side of the hotel. The staff on reception were friendly and well presented. They run a 'convenience corner' from 10 am to 10 pm next to reception where you can get water and hot drinks for free. Overall I would return to this hotel if I visit Paris again.

Weird paintings everywhere

The paintings in the room are inappropriate and the dining set up is a bit bizarre looking like computer tables however the dinner was great but breakfast was limited. The rooms are quite small; just enough space to fit your bags. Not a great location.
