Comfort and awesome food guaranteed

We had booked this hotel through an agent and got pick up from airport but in case you use metro, this is a perfect hotel being right next to a metro station. Our daily travel issues were easily solved by this. The complimentary breakfast buffet was amazing with a variety of breads, cakes, cheese, yogurts and fruits. They also have full day coffee dispensing machine for coffee lovers like me. Since they don't give complimentary water, you can also use this machine for you water requirements otherwise there were vending machines outside hotel too. There were some restaurants right on opposite road including one that had Indian food so we didn't have any complain on the food department.The only issue was the rooms are too small.. With our two luggage and two carry bags, the room had minimal walking space. I guess that's a common issue with many hotels there so preferably carry less baggage and do try this hotel for its ideal location and surremptous breakfast buffet.

Good hotel, ok area

The hotel is in an ok area. The room itself was stuffy and could do with some cooling options, eventhough summer had finished it was still rather warm and since we are paying for air con within the room cost we should be able to have this service.The customer service is lacking, the lady on check in was very uninterested in us. We travelled through Europe and London and this hotel had the least friendly and helpful customer service. (Which has been reviewed before, so should be improved and training provided or new interested staff members)The room itself is satisfactory and the breakfast is fine. We only stayed two nights and only really spent our sleeping time there. The restaurant over the road is nice and they are friendly there :-)It was ok for what we needed but would not recommend staying here for longer than 2 nights. Probably wouldn't stay again.

Not good

Did not enjoy the stay here, rooms felt dirty. Stains all over the walls and carpet. Room got very stuffy and cooling did not work properly. Only good points were that it was close to Chateu Landon station which meant we could access all of Paris' main attractions easily. Supermarkets across the street, but neighbourhood very seedy and dirty. The buffet breakfast was also decent. Free tea/coffee and water 24/7.

Reception staff are very professional, helpful and competent. A lot of them able to speak multiple languages. And there is a PS4 in the reception area free to play. That's the positives.The location is convenient but terrible and run down. The hotel itself has seen better days and is in dire need of a revamp. Breakfasts is below average and there are often not enough tables available for the amount of guests staying here. They also keep running out of food, cups, bowls and cutlery during breakfast.The only reason why I'm not rating this hotel as terrible, is because the staff try and keep it as clean as possible. But what it needs are not cleaners, but electricians plumbers, plasterers and builders to update this old Hotel.As I was on the 7th floor my window was not able to open fully and my air conditioning wasn't working in the room. There are no tea or coffee making facilities or any refreshments in the rooms. There was mould growing in the bathroom. The paint was peeling off the walls. They were stains on the carpets in the room. The skirting boards in the lifts were falling off. There are no desks in the room for you to work with a laptop. The tiles on the steps at the entrance of the hotel are loose or missing. At the back of the hotel you have Gare de l'est station with thirty platforms of screeching trains, making humungous noise. At the front you have blaring Sirens all night long and homeless people sleeping on the street right in front of the hotel. The streets in front of the hotel have a strong smell of urine.Two of my colleagues also stayed at the same hotel during the same time as me and their rooms were not any better. In fact, their rooms were worse than mine. We stayed at this hotel for 10 days and one of my colleagues had to sleep on a broken bed for the duration of his stay.All I have to say is well done staff but ibis you have to try better...

Worst hotel in all trips

Most hopeless and not worth of money hotel. Front desk staff specially day shift staff are non cooperative and doesn't bother to reply to your query. Further rooms are very small. Indians will not like breakfast as they don't serve even bread and fruits which is most common breakfast item. Only good thing about hotel is next door metro station nothing else. Please avoid this hotel.
