Meliá Royal Alma Boutique Hotel
- What's Included
We visited Paris to celebrate both me and my son's birthday. We stayed in junior suite and grand premium room. We were welcome and greet by the front desk team proffessionally, and the check-in process was really fast. As Melia Reward member you can check-in online, and it helps to speed up the process. The room was clean, and have everything you need - safety deposit box, minibar, coffe making facilities, international tv channels, a good size writing table, and incredible comfortable bed with a plenty of pillows. The Junior Suite has a separate living room, a perfect spot to relax after a whole day exploring Paris. The breakfast buffet has everything you need, and staff was really friendly and make sure that you have everything you need. I do not know how to describe it, but the atmosphere is really hommie and familiar. We really enjoyed it.Most of the staff speak English, and particulary one staff member in the reception cought my attention, as she speak different languages English, German, Spanish, Italian very impressive. The location of the hotels is near to shops, restaurants, Eifel Tower, and Hop on Hop Off bus stop (L open Tour - stop nr 15), metro and public bus (Alma Station). And off-course Mr. Jaya (I do not remember his fullname) - the front desk staff member, will happy to help you to call the taxi or arrange another transportation for you.The only thing that I should inform you - if you travelling with / or use a wheelchair, this hotel might not be the perfect choice for you. The elevator is so small, so if you have regular size wheelchair it will not fit in the elevator. In our case, my son wheelchair was barely fits the elevator, and since he can walk litle bit, we store the wheelchair at the reception instead - it was much easier. We would like to thank you the Management and staff of Melia Royal Alma for the hospitality, and attention given during our stay. It was a great 50 years birthday experience for me. We definately coming back!
I have stayed in the same couple of hotels in Paris for several years. This time I wanted to try a new location, closer to the Eifel Tower and this hotel was just perfect. Not only the location was great, but also the staff was well prepared and very helpful. Will definitely stay over again in the future.
High quality hotel in an ideal location. Bar and restaurant are expensive. Bar had NO white wine.Beds are as hard as concrete. The quietest room we've ever stayed in. For location alone I would recommend it.
We just finished a quick 4 night stay in Paris and have only good things to say about this hotel and its location. An easy walk to all the main attractions and cosy well furnished rooms. The friendly staff, particularly Miguel, were able to assist with all of our enquiries and provide recommendations as requested. Wifi was also free and a good speed
All in all, I really enjoyed this hotel. The price of this place won’t get you excited, but I think it's quite comparable to other four-star hotels in central Paris. Having said that, I noticed prices for the same stay dates varied wildly through the year. So if you can, try to check prices regularly, preferably months in advance (I booked 6 months ahead). I found my grand premium room spacious, clean and beautifully furnished. It had a safe, water boiler, minibar, free slippers and a (rather short) bathtub. Wifi was free and quite fast. Breakfast is abundant and served in a delightfully quiet room. As noted, the hotel is located in a quiet side street. In short, a hotel I would certainly recommend!
