Novotel Paris Tour Eiffel

First the hotel is on the 2nd floor and about a 20 minute walk from the eiffel tower. It is very near a shopping mall, but that mall closes at 9PM!! Everything in the area pretty much closes at that time(even on the weekends). Sophia from reception was great, she saw how tired we were and allowed us to check in early!! Such a doll!! Keiko at the restaurant was also very pleasant and helpful! Left my 250 dollar ray ban glasses at the pool and someone stole them. When i asked reception, security and the concierge, no one even cared. My husband went before we checked out and no one bothered to help. I also called 2 weeks later to check if someone had them and that time they were more helpful! There are rooms that are allowed to smoke so you'll smell that in the hallway. I would also recommend having pool towels available instead of having to bring the ones from your room. The pool only holds a max of 15 people and they will make you wait until there is more space. I really didn't like the service at the pool or the actual pool for that matter. There was a man from Spain that was at the bar(can't remember his name) he was very nice as well and recommended a good restaurant. Overall it was okay, some staff stood out, but I wish more effort was made during my time of need with my glasses.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a short weekend break. The hotel reception area is warm, clean and welcoming. Check in was smooth and staff very helpful. Our room was located on the 30th floor giving us great views of the Seine and the Statue of Liberty.Very comfortable large bed, very deep bath and powerful shower. The carpets and skirting boards in the room looked dated but did not hinder our stay. We did not have breakfast but did have room service which was really tasty. The swimming pool is small but good enough to do a few lengths and is used for swimming lessons. The hotel is situated about 10/15 minutes from the Eiffel Tower and is close to Javel metro/train station which is handy to get around Paris, cheap too. There is also a new shopping centre not even a five minute walk away from the Novotel. Overall a lovely hotel in a great location, we are hopefully coming back to Paris with our two eldest girls some time and would stay at this hotel again.
Sometimes, the Parisian's are given the name of being grumpy or rude. Not at the Novotel Tour Eiffel. My young daughter and I were met warmly by the reception staff, who made us feel instantly welcome. They took time out to speak to her as an individual and helped her with French words. They smiled broadly, offered sweeties and even gave her a present. We were only staying for one night so I was even more impressed by their attentiveness. The room was superb. A corner room on the 31st floor with views of both the tower and the river/city. It was sparkling clean, had tea/coffee making facilities, a huge television with loads of channels, a lovely comfy bed, great bath and shower and a wireless speaker.I had read previous reviews about breakfast being substandard but this was certainly not the case for us. There were lots of both hot and cold options - all fresh and replenished continuously. Again, the staff were exemplary and were on hand at all times. We used the pool. It wasn't enormous but it was a decent size and had a nearby fitness suite. Swimming hats were obligatory, and us, being from Scotland were unfamiliar with this. No problem at the Novotel; the lovely girl at reception gave us swimming caps free of charge. The concierge was so helpful and kept our bags whilst we explored after check out.I cannot praise this hotel enough. My daughter had always dreamed of visiting Paris and the staff here made her adventure one to remember!Merci beaucoup de l'Ecosse
My Fiancé and I stayed here for 3nights 4days. I must say the staff very friendly and helpful in all ways. The location is prime roughly about 10/15 walk from Eiffel Tower very close to bus stop and 6/8 min walk to bir Hakim metro station. The breakfast was limited in options but as someone who doesn't have the chance to eat breakfast in the morning I can't complain. The room display could be better as the toilet is completely separated from wash basin which takes some getting used to. The air con was only set to heat which was too warm for room settings. Overall though I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would stay again due to location. 2Mins walk from a big shopping mall 15mins from major landmarks well worth it
We stayed here for a week. Very central, around 15 minute walk from the Eiffel. A few minutes by cab to the Place de la Concorde, Madeleine square, Champs Elysees etc. The metro station (Bir Hakeim) is a few minutes away. The staff is friendly and polite. In France, that can be considered quite remarkable. The downside is the breakfast. If you are booking a room where breakfast is optional, the cafes around are a better option. We stayed here for a week as part of a tour and extended a few days. The breakfast spread was tiny and exactly the same ! Some variety from day to day is needed, if not choice. That's ok for a few days, but cross a week and you will find yourself cringing at the thought of breakfast.
