This hotel was not a 4 star hotel in my opinion. It was "okay" in every sense of the word. It was a good location which is why I didn't give it a terrible rating. Pros:- Location- Super friendly doorman/security (one of them took the time to help us arrange a cab to take us around Paris and see the night lights. He even negotiated a price for us!)Cons:The "Concierge":What a joke. The concierge I interacted with were some of the rudest people I met while in Paris. The hotel offers some computer workstations with a printer which was not working the entire time we were at this hotel (5 nights). I asked the concierge for help printing a ticket I had bought. I had already tried to do it myself but I couldn't get the computer's internet portal to translate to English and had already spent an hour trying to translate the error messages on the printer - all of this after I had sent the ticket to the printer and the printer ferociously started printing pages and pages of symbols- yes I know this is a run-on sentence but this is a rant people, a rant! He told me he couldn't help me and then berated me for buying said ticket ahead of time (you didn't need to do that, why did you do that, etc.). He gave me an email to send it to and said he could print from his printer if I sent it there. After trying 5 times he said he didn't know what was wrong. He later called my room and said he had finally gotten it to print! I excitedly went to retrieve my printed ticket only to find it was zoomed in so far you couldn't even see the barcode. I couldn't even say anything because a) he was super proud of himself and b) it wasn't worth it and also c) he scared me. Fast forward about a day (thank goodness I gave myself a few days to get the ticket printed) and I finally went to the front desk - located across from the concierge. I went when I knew the concierge would be closed (pro tip) and the front desk had the ticket perfectly printed for me in ten minutes. The Temperature:The first night we were there the room was nice and cool, but the rest of the nights we all woke up in pools of sweat. When we asked the front desk what was going on, they sent up a maintenance guy. He told us that they shut the air off since it was winter now. Funny how that happened in the middle of our stay. They have no business shutting off the air when there is no way to open the window or get any sort of breeze going. We were with a tour group and the rest of our group had the same problem. The Breakfast:Five days of the hotel buffet breakfast was quite enough. The French can make some good croissants but they need to leave the bacon to the professionals. My Southern self cringed at the cesspool of bacon they attempted to pass off as edible every morning. Do yourself a favor and eat breakfast elsewhere. The EscalatorsThese, like the printer, were broken for our entire stay. Not a big deal right? Stop being a lazy American you might be saying. My grandmother was on this trip with us and physically could not navigate the STEEP steps of the broken escalator. We had to take an annoying detour to the sketchy downstairs elevators every time we had to go down to our tour bus or to the street to catch an Uber. The elevators wouldn't open half the time because technically they are only for staff so we would just have to stand and wait until someone who worked at the hotel walked by.Unless you have no other option I highly recommend staying elsewhere.
I was in Paris on business and brought my wife and 13 year old daughter along. We were given a very large corner room with 2 rooms separated by a partial wall. The room was an amazing size and had a great view facing the Eiffel Tower (we couldn't see it but we could see the water. We also had windows facing the river and Radio France. For location the hotel is pretty well located for walking but is difficult to get to with bags from the closest metro station. The closest station is Bir Hakeim but the sidewalks from that station to the hotel are small, have trees in the middle, and are difficult to navigate with large bags. We discovered later it is easier to get to Avenue Kennedy near Radio France as it has larger walkways with flat pavement if you are staying at the hotel I recommend using that station to gain access to the hotel. In addition you don't need to deal with the people selling cheap Eiffel Tower souvenirs.Since there is more security around Paris be prepared for the security to want to check every bag as you enter the hotel. This is common around Paris and I appreciated the extra security. On to the rooms. Our room was large and I appreciated that. The reason I am giving this hotel 3 stars is our room was in desperate need of refurbishment. The carpets were worn, needed paint, and the bathrooms were worn. We had a light out in our toilet room and that was fixed very quickly. The hotel in general had some small issues like the escalator was out during our entire stay. This is the main exit for the hotel so it being out was a bit of a hassle but not a big deal.My one other complaint is the yellow voucher system for breakfast. This was a pain to have to keep track of those so we could eat breakfast. Every other Novotel I stay at they ask my room number and are able to check to see if I have breakfast in my room rate (I always book bed and breakfast rate). Having to keep track of these tickets and remember to take them with us was an annoyance and could be improved.
Booked this hotel for a surprise for my girlfriend. We got the metro here and was 10min walk from the station was really easy to find.when we arrived was booked in smoothly with a friendy service. We stayed in room 51 on the 4th floor.Room was not massive but did the job.But then went on to the balcony and to the right was a lovely view of the Iffel Tower my girlfriend was very happy.Breakfast was lovely and a good choice could not fault itIffel Tower was a 10min to 15min walk but it is a lovely walk and plenty of cafés bars near byWould definitely be coming back to this hotel when I'm next in Paris
This hotel is very very average . Placed near eiffel tower . Not expensive and not very cheap. The room are not too small as the others of Europe hotels . The cleaning is good . Totally not bad . Not suitable for family groups.
We took our staff to Paris for their Xmas Party. The hotel is situated by the Eiffel tower and close to restaurants and a shopping centre. It is a busy hotel but very clean and service was good.We booked 7 rooms. The rooms were given to us on 22 floor which was fine. They were a little small but clean and tidy. Breakfast is decent but one should use this hotel as a city centre location.
