Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg
- What's Included
Stayed here in their faubourg suite for one week. The service at the reception and concierge is impeccable. They understand and give immediate professional responses to almost all requests and their knowledge of all different types of questions are astounding. My poor daughter was sick during the most of the trip and they could always find and arrange a doctor.. even at 2am in the morning! The rooms were not as big as other hotels but tastefully designed so that you don't really feel the smaller size. Very beautiful and comfortable to stay in.The house keeping was a bit hit and miss. Some days they understood every request we asked. Some days they had problems understanding our English.Breakfast was small but adequate and in a very beautiful part of the hotel. The location is unbeatable. Nearby to all the posh shopping districts and right next to the embassies. Champs elysees is just five minutes down the road. Very lovely safe and beautiful area.Very much enjoyed our stay here. Wouldn't hesitate to come again.
I have never posted a review on Trip Advisor but feel compelled to after our lovely stay in Paris. Moez made our trip extra special and was always there to greet us in the mornings and evenings. He was so helpful with finding places for breakfast for us and welcoming us home at night and couldn't have been more helpful during our whole stay. We were so thankful for all of his help! Thank you to Moez and the rest of the lovely staff at the Sofitel! We will be sure to recommend the hotel to all our Australian family and friends.
Lovely place with a caring team at the heart of Paris. Room beautifully furnished with a mix of modernism and plush suiting the location; quiet little garden for breakfast; deluxe shopping and dining locations close by - with a knowledgeable concierge team more than happy to help!
We had taken "The Parisian Dream", the hotel's package for Roland Garros (French Open) which was for 1N/2D. And it was magic all through! We had taken a luxury room which was elegant with its Didier Gomez Deisgn. The reception was warm; even as we were early for our check-in, we were taken care of. We are whisked right away to the Roland Garros Stadium and upon our return, we found our luggage in our room. We were escorted by two staff members to our room and were explained the various amenities available in it. The package contained tickets for two days and on both the days, we were transported to the venue in the vehicle of the official transport partner of the tournament. The seats at RG were top-notch, the hospitality at The Village was endearing. The location of the hotel was vantage (near 3 metro stations) and the fact that the President's residence was just 600 mtrs from this hotel made the place secure, with guards round the clock at the road-ends. We strolled at 10.15 pm upto the Tuileries Garden and found the air, refreshing. We dined at their restaurant, 'Blossoms' and the 3-course dinner was eclectic! While some were familiar to our palate and others weren't, it was an induction to the French cuisine. Unlike most restaurants in Paris, Blossoms had a fair spread of vegetarian options and my mamma, who is a vegetarian, could eat to her heart's content :) The breakfast was pampering and the staff was amiable. We would like to express our thanks to the hotel staff for turning our outing, an unforgettable one!Well recommended.----Room Tariff: 500 Euros per nightBreakfast: 36 Euros per personDinner (for 2): 120 Euros
We were glad to have been upgraded (for my birthday visit) but even then the rooms are not large, understandable in such a superb locatio, right by the Place de la Concorde. Normally it should be quiet but unfortunately building works opposite were really noisy from 0620 on day 2, which was most disappointing. All as luxurious as you'd expect from Sofitel but some annoying small details: shower difficult to work (especially without getting wet before getting in); bath mats much too small for cold tiled floor and the elegant toiletries in Identical bottles all labelled in unreadably small print. But all very elegant and superbly situated with a delicious breakfast which you can eat in a tiny interior patio/garden. Lots of good things provided like nice teas, kettle and N espresso machine and slippers!. Charming gift of 2 glasses of champagne for my big day.
