Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg
- What's Included
One of the most important reason to stay in this hotel is location! It’s centrally located and close to shopping, subway and many other attractions. It’s not very touristy at night and in the morning so you can enjoy a quiet walk around the hotel. Staffs are not super friendly but overall are helpful if you ask but they won’t smile or approach you warmly. The room is a bit small but it’s a decent size for two people unless you have a lot of stuff with you then it might be a little small. Overall I love the hotel and will certainly stay again on my next trip to Paris! :)
We stay there for a week in a suite over Christmas time.Hotel is reaaly nice and has been renovated, it feels cosy with some modern touch. Most of the staffs were nice and pleasant but something is definitely wrong with the management. To sart with, breakfast is a disaster and need to be more organised.Staffs are all around the place without having a specific area, some days you have to wait before to have your drink and it was so many things missing on the buffet that you have to wait again to have your breakfast. I never seen anything like it for an hotel that standard! We have few problem in the room, few were resolve after 3 days, the bassin in the bathroom who was not running properly wasn't resolve at all. Also it was always some noises above or next to the room. Some days the night service was after we left but sometime it was just when you are relaxing or having your shower.Beeing an Accor Platinium Card, I was expected a welcome gift as all Sofitel hotels do, here nothing, few fruits cut on a plate!Again for Christmas, no chocolats box or gift in the room. This hotel use to have a fantastic management, is Sofitel cutting down for their loyals customers?Bar was still plaisant and wifi working find. Will have to think if I come back there or not as many hotels are realy good in Paris. They have to improve.
The hotel is overall nice and so do the rooms. I really liked the fact that my room was really really quiet for a hotel room in Paris, especially with the Metro close by and underneath us. The amenities and the bedding were top notch. Just a bit disappointed how small are the quantities in room service. On the other hand, the breakfast downstairs was amazing!
We stayed here for three nights in January and loved everything about it. Service was exceptional and hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Our room was bigger than many I have encountered in Europe. Breakfast was fresh and choices endless.
Our family of 4 adults stayed at the Sofitel for 9 nights over Christmas and New Year. We had booked the 2bedroom Faubourg Suite.Prior to our arrival, the hotel emailed me regarding check in and offered guaranteed early check-in at 8am for 175euro since our flight from the US was arriving early in the morning. Upon check-in, I was told that our suite was not ready - but the hotel offered us 2 complimentary rooms to use while we waited for our suite. A great gesture by the hotel, we were able to take a quick nap and freshen up.2 nights into our stay, we encountered a problem with our room. The hotel staff immediately came up with a resolution. Since it was Christmas, the hotel was fully booked of all their 2bedroom suites. So they placed us in their Penthouse Suite, their largest apartment, for the rest of our stay! The staff from housekeeping to front desk we're all very accommodating, though the hotel was quite busy, we've never had to wait more than a few minutes for anything.Hotel is in a great and safe location. Close to major attractions and shopping. On New Year's Eve, we went down to Champs Elysee for the countdown and were back to the hotel by 12:08!Would definitely stay again!
