It was just french speaking and very fast speaking personal, the only one speaking english was the breakfastlady from the kitchen. She went around the clients in her plastic protection asking the guests whats for roomnumber. Maybe the other woman didnt speak at all, she didnt say even "goodmorning". The breakfast wasnt good. the coffemashines both wanted to bee cleaned at the display, the egg omelett was empty ( at 8.15 ) the water bottle was an evian, but was refilled with tapwater. Opon all this, we had to pay another 15 € per person for the breakfast when we checked out. Even if i asked by check-in if all was payed for! And asking about breakfast! I speak good french, and the portier said she just needed the credit card for "security"... Why dont say the truth?. The room was ok, cobwebs in the ceiling and corners, and teve with 30 french speaking sender, 2 english and one german... / other french hotels have at least the zdf news from germany and some bbc world channels..Waterpressure not so good, ok for a shower, but toilet doesnt get clean.Wifi had to be reconnected every time you came in to the hotel again. Dont place your doorcard to close to the mobile, gets unuseful...if you are just searching for a nights sleepning, dont mind looking on french tv, and have a working wifi on your phone. And dont mind paying 15 € extra for breakfast without eggs and coffe, ok!
Although the hotel is situated a stones throw away from the Moulin Rouge and Paris' red light district, as a family with two young kids, the location was fantastic as we were v close to the Sacred Couer and Montmartre. Pigalle metro was 3 mins walk away from Timotel with a direct line to Arc de Triomphe (Charles de Gauls Etoile). For hotel staff were very friendly -especially Mileva at breakfast and Padma on reception...please show them this as they deserve a mention- outstanding!!The room was v big for Paris with an adjoining room with a sofa beds for our boys and clean too. Nice shower and bathroom.Breakfast was v good with a great selection of pastries fruit and yoghurt with option for egg bacon and toast. We paid £133 a night in half term, breakfast included for four people....for this location whether with kids or not this is hard to beat.20 mins walk from Gare due Nord.😊😊😊
It's not my first experience with the timhotel in paris , it's quite a good experience and i think it's much better than the other ones i had that's why i came back to timhotel . Very clean rooms , rich breakfast especially that you can have fresh juice on the breakfast bar (orange and grapefruit) and actually i had smoked salmon on the new year and that was very surprising 😋.Very helpful staff on the reception and very nice too .Rooms are very clean and spacious even the cleaning lady was very nice .The breakfast staff ( the two ladies that worked together on the same shift were not very helpful and i heard some people complain) i think the way they talk to people is not very friendly. But all in all they were nice and absolutely i will stay at this hotel next time because it's from the best 4stars hotel in paris , hope you give it a try 😉Happy new year for all of you
Perfect location for every thing Paris has to offer. In the middle of the bustling red light district. Plenty of restaurants and nightlife, live music and of course the moulin rouge which is minutes away. Blanche metro station is very close and it took just under an hour to get from CDG airport. Sacre couer (highly recommended) is within walking distance although we took the metro/ funicular and then walked back through pigalle. Hotel itself is beautiful. Rooms very very spacious. Tea and coffee machine. Toiletries and robes/ slippers. Hair dryer and fridge in the room. Found the rooms a bit hot the first night so turned heating off for the remainder of our stay. Breakfast was fantastic, coffee, espresso, tea, hot chocolate etc. Bacon, scrambled eggs(perfectly made), lots of cheese, ham pastries, cakes, jams, Nutella, yoghurt, fruit and cereal. All very high quality especially the croissants. Yum. Reception staff were very friendly and would help with advice for local area. Great shower in bathroom. Can't imagine returning to Paris and not staying in this hotel! Definitely would return.
My wife and I visited this hotel for a one night stay on the 26th November. I explained to the receptionist that it was our second wedding anniversary and she told us to come back at 2pm when the room would be ready for us. On arriving back at 2pm we found to our absolute delight that we had been upgraded to a fantastic suite. The hotel is excellent and located near to the Metro. The receptionist was first class. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Well done guys.
